Trying to force my butt through learning Blockbench. It is easier than Blender in a lot of ways but there’s some things I don’t even know how to articulate that irritate me. Either way this is my first complete model.

Learning of the Soul Reaver remakes incoming made me revisit the first and finally complete it after never managing to in my childhood. I’m ngl I loved the block puzzles so much, but I have the feeling that they were probably hated by most others, especially since I’ve heard they were ditched in the second game? I shall find out soon I guess.

Been trying to figure out Blockbench animation but it’s honestly driving me insane. I don’t understand it at all. I’ve fiddled for hours and watched tuts but none of it makes any sense to me. Idk. Hopefully it clicks at some point.

This was inspired by a speculation I’ve cone across, as to why Raziel has two spines. One theory questions that the other spine was necessary to not just support his current wings, but also a second set that further evolutions would grant him. Of course, him becoming a wraith halted this possibility prematurely.
