Oc lore: A prophet from a nearly extinct tribe that was sent out by the gods onto dangerous lands in hopes to warn the world about eternal damnation. Okay sooo....... this probably isn't exactly the most wholesome continuation you might've been expecting.

I have thought about this ask for so long (and I've thought HARD), this is probably as best as their interactions go outside of funny stuff.

My Lamb and Narinder have a very transactional relationship, and it is in no part romantic or platonic.

They absolutely hate one another's guts and are constantly under guilt or unease whenever they're in each other's vicinity.

CONTEXT:

(If you'd like to read some rambling lmao)

The reason for this very tense connection is that they've done irreversible things that caused a major tragedy in both their lives.

Lamb is the cause of Narinder's forever "limbo" state, meanwhile Narinder was the reason Lamb's entire herd was wiped out in the first place/taking a miserable title as "Lamb of Death" without choice. Even though they DESPISE each other, they also can't forgive themselves for their own actions too.

The scars on their eye/face are an everlasting reminder for this.

Hence, even though Lamb has all the power to banish/execute Narinder at any time, they choose not to and actually try to make it up to him despite everything.

Narinder also chooses to keep this "peace" because it's the closest he ever had to a genuine "mortal" connection. They've longed for company for centuries and Lamb was a huge part of it, even though it isn't the healthiest kind of bond..

They're stuck with each other, so they decide to at least get something out of it (alliance, intel, anything that can benefit the cult, etc.)

I'll for sure draw more of it in detail in the future ... if I get the energy to. 😢

MEMENTO MORI

Been a while since I drew COTL :) I've been coming up with a simple design for Narinder and I'm pretty happy with this! I imagine that ever since he was overthrown by the Lamb, his body got so used to being the "God of Death" that he never fully returned to his mortal state... so now he's neither dead or a live, kind of like stuck in-between. The chains are remnants of what he once was + serves as a reminder for his sins, especially against the Bishops. His body appears all misty and ghost-like and his voice is always followed by an echo, which tends to scare the other followers often... (poor guy.)
