Diary of a Heartbreaker, Cordelia Love's third album, was released in May 2018 to mixed reception from her fans and critics. While tracks like Snow Angel and Forever... (is a Long Time) were praised for their beautiful lyricism and production, Heartbreaker showed a more mature side of the 22-year-old as she discussed topics ranging from masturbation (Guilty Pleasure) to hookup culture (How to be a Heartbreaker). Written in the aftermath of her breakup with longtime boyfriend, Kendall Knight, many fans also criticized Love for not being more open about which songs were written about Knight, leaving his reputation up in the air.

Diary of a Heartbreaker features 14 songs and 4 singles: Guilty Pleasure, 3am, How to be a Heartbreaker, and Snow Angel. 3am's music video, an 80s summer-camp themed slasher featuring favorites such as Jo Taylor, Lucy Stone, and the members of former boy band Big Time Rush, broke the record for most views in 24 hours with over 52 million views.

𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐔𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐆… 𝐌𝐘 𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐆𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐒, 𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐙𝐀, 𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐕𝐈𝐄𝐕𝐄, & 𝐀𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐀 𝐍𝐎𝐑𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐓𝐎𝐍

❝ Dearest gentle reader,

While this author will freely admit to paying some special attention to the Bridgerton and Featherington families over the course of her writings, there is certainly another family of the ton who is quite equally worthy of note. The Norringtons of Edgewater, headed by notorious eccentric Baron Peter Norrington, certainly seem poised to create some ripples in London’s social scene this season, especially with two out of three daughters officially presented to society.

At the head of the line of Norrington children is Miss Eliza Norrington, now entering her third season with, this author is regretful to report, seemingly no more hope of finding a match then in her two previous seasons. Though it can hardly be doubted that the eldest Miss Norrington has been properly trained in all the genteel arts befitting a daughter of nobility, as well as a perfectly polite and compassionate manner, she also seems to possess an unfortunate - in the eyes of her potential suitors, at least - fondness for books, having often been seen at social events with her nose tucked into a tomb. This, combined with her timid nature, seems to have warded any eligible gentleman off from calling on her, to the presumed despair of her dear mama, who is very much the opposite of her dear eldest daughter in disposition.

Then we must turn our attention to the middle daughter, Miss Genevieve Norrington, who will be making her debut this London season. The young Miss Genevieve, like her mama, also appears to be very different from her elder sister; indeed, as this author hears it, she is in possession of a fierce temper and a rather outspoken tongue, having often been heard spouting ideas about gender equality and women’s education that seem altogether too modern for most members of the ton. This rather nasty reputation, accompanied by the fact that she will be sharing her debut with Miss Daphne Bridgerton, the Queen’s recently named diamond of this season, does not bode well for Miss Genevieve’s prospects this season in the opinion of this author, and may in fact leave Lady Norrington with two daughters begun on the track to becoming that most dreaded of things, the spinster.

And, last but certainly not least, there is still Miss Aurelia Norrington, the youngest and yet-to-be-debuted Norrington daughter. If possible, Miss Aurelia seems to show even less willingness to be presented and wed than her sister Genevieve - indeed, this author hears, she has often been known to deride the so-called marriage mart and the traditions surrounding it, insisting that we should all be better off finding matches by chance the way commoners do. Although there will be some time for the youngest Norrington to change her mind about these views - or, rather for her mother to change them for her - she seems to be quite content watching this season from the sidelines with childhood friend Miss Eloise Bridgerton, the two watching the goings-on of London society with negligible envy as their other friend Miss Penelope Featherington seeks to navigate it, as she makes her debut alongside her sisters.

Indeed, dearest reader, it may seem from the outside that there will be nothing of note in store for the Norrington sisters this season, simply another disagreeable young lady fading into the background and chasing away all prospects while her elder sister marches further and further towards the role of old maid. But all is not as it seems - for I do tell you, reader, it would appear that an unfortunate meeting with the Viscount Bridgerton while trying to help his diamond of a sister escape his protective glares at her suitors may have sparked a connection between Miss Eliza and Lord Anthony. And as it would happen, the newly debuted Miss Genevieve seemed to have some sort of prior introduction to London’s newest arrival, the Duke of Hastings, despite, to this author’s knowledge, never having been formally introduced to the man - and, not to be outshone by her elder sisters, Miss Aurelia has publicly declared her shared intention with Miss Eloise Bridgerton to discern the identity of this very gentle author, a fruitless endeavour indeed.

Yes, gentle reader, I believe this season, with all its Bridgertons, Featheringtons, and Norringtons in the mix, may prove to be the most dramatic, scandalous, and perhaps even romantic one in quite a while. But, for better or for worse, you may count on one thing: that I shall be here to dutifully inform you about it all.

𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐔𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐆… 𝐌𝐘 𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐄 𝐌𝐃 𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐑, 𝐋𝐈𝐋𝐘 𝐊𝐀𝐍𝐆

❝ When Lily had first started as a general practitioner at Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital, she’d had no idea that she’d eventually wind up going to bed with Gregory House, one of the most talented diagnosticians in the country, but also one of the most cantankerous and sarcastic people in the entire world. After all, House seemed to avoid the hospital’s walk-in clinic, where Lily spent most of her time, like the freaking bubonic plague, and besides that they were almost complete opposites, Lily cheerful and possessing a zest for life and taking care of people while House was closed-off and snippy, choosing most of the time to only see his patients as puzzles to be solved. There was almost nothing that could have been seen as foreshadowing that they’d end up sleeping together eventually.

And yet, they had done just that. The first time was less than a year after they’d met, and then there was a second time. And a third. And a fourth, and a fifth, and many times after that, on and off throughout the years. Though whether or not there were genuine feelings involved was in question for some time - there certainly was on Lily’s side almost from the beginning, not that she would ever admit it, and the same went for House, really - the passionate connection that ran between them could never have been doubted, and it continued to flare on and off the longer the two of them were around each other. There was just something that had always drawn them to each other, from the moment they met; Lily was skilled at injecting some light and levity into House’s generally nihilistic world, and with House, Lily felt safe giving in to her darker thoughts and urges, the temper that she always tried to hide and contain. They may have been the definition of opposites attract, but there was no denying that there was still genuine love between them, despite the fact that only House’s best and only friend James Wilson seemed to be the only one who could speak the fact aloud.

Still, time goes on, and patients come and go and come and go through the halls of the hospital, and Lily and House continue to drift apart and together and apart again on an almost regular basis. And all the while, Wilson continues to grow more and more frustrated with the refusal of both of them to actually talk about their feelings like adults, and starts spending more and more time with Lily as a result… only for the two of them to feel a spark of their own between them, something that, no matter how much either of them try to resist for House’s sake and their own, cannot properly be denied.

Of course, Lily has always considered herself a consummate professional, never one to let her personal feelings and relationships interfere with her doing her job and caring for her patients. But things continue to happen in her life, House and his team continue to cause problems for the hospital, and it starts to seem more and more like the trio of Lily, House, and Wilson will all have to make some choices between each other… although maybe, just perhaps, they will be able to disrupt the endless flow of time and healing and malpractice and potentially career-ending events by not forcing themselves to choose at all. ❞

frankie has always known he was born for better things than living on the isle of the lost - and that he better than most people - so when four of his acquaintances are picked to go to auradon, he tags along. it doesn't matter that he wasn't invited, no matter what jay says. he knows that the kingdom of auradon is where he's supposed to be. he belongs among the royals, especially with the kindhearted soon to be king. there's just one thing: the other villain kids have made it their mission to take over, with the ridiculous idea that it'll make their parents proud. frankie is determined to stop them, no matter what it takes. (and to figure out how to reverse a love potion, but that's more of a side quest.)
