tl;dr on althea bc she in particular is on my mind btw. developed with star wars in mind, she was born n raised on corellia, adopted by an underground doctor tht replaced her spine + much of her nervous system w cybernetics on account of a disease rendering her paralyzed in childhood. continues her father's work; this background stays quite similar between other sci-fi universes such as cp77 (born and raised in pacifica; now a ripperdoc for the voodoo boys) and deus ex (clinic set up in utulek to provide some kind of relief for augs there). her father has disappeared & her primary goal atm is finding him.

belladonna, on the topic of silence. red's whole world revolves around noise, but i think it makes her all the more appreciative of the quiet tbh! perhaps surprisingly, you'll find that she spends a lot of her downtime in the quiet; her morning routine is rather silent, lots of her hobbies don't require her to interact with others or be much involved outside of herself, she sleeps in silence ... when auden comes into her life, though, i think that changes a little bit, and the silence begins to disconcert her a little more when he's not around.

oak, on the topic of strength. is auden too obvious of an answer ... i'm sorry but it's him. to me, though, it's because he's so ... different than everything she's used to? he's so entirely different than anyone in cloudbank, and to exist in such stark opposition to the city can't be easy. she admires that.

poppy, on the topic of comfort. the tapes that she makes to norrie are a form of control and self-help for lucy, i think, and that brings her comfort. the necklace lockwood gave her also now serves as a point of reassurance when she needs to feel brave. mornings at portland row are inherently comforting to her too because all the sleepy morning hubbub between her, lockwood, and george just makes her feel at ease every day.

salvia, on the topic of possessiveness. loaded question! i dont think lucy is possessive, but she's definitely protective. she's definitely easy to rile up and fast to get defensive over the things and ones she loves, but i can't imagine it going much further than that. she clings to them, though ... lockwood and george in particular, because they're all she has now.
