Do ghosts only come out at night? Does bigfoot exist?

Just because the paranormal is the realm of the unexplained doesn’t mean there isn’t any explaining to do. Humans have always sought to give definition to the world around us, and even to the worlds that may be beyond us. As a result, over the course of millennia, we have developed countless theories and told endless stories within the realm of paranormal pop culture, and there have been a lot of misconceptions that have taken root in the public’s consciousness. Believe it or not, even when dealing with the mysterious realm of ghosts, aliens and creatures, there are some things we can fairly confidently label as false. So, to clear up some incorrect assumptions about the unexplained, let’s take a look at the Top 10 Paranormal Myths:

1. Paranormal Facts Exist The term “paranormal” applies to anything currently beyond the range of scientific explanation. So anyone who claims they have access to the rulebook of the paranormal, and that they know a foolproof way of making a ghost go “boo!” is probably a charlatan … or about to be pretty famous. Plenty of researchers – including reputable scientists – have compelling theories about unexplained phenomena and are attempting to apply those utilizing the scientific method, but so far, paranormal facts don’t quite exist.

2. Ghosts Only Come Out at Night There are a lot of reasons to ghost hunt at night: The world quiets down as the day fades away; some locations only let you enter after the close of daytime business hours; it is much creepier at night; and, most importantly, it’s the best time to play with your sweet night vision camera! But if you want to chase ghosts, you can just as effectively do it during the day, according to most paranormal researchers. In fact, it might even be a more effective time because that’s when the dead were probably most alive.

Wand/Staff Blessing for Christopagans

Things you need:

Red Candle: Stimulates energy and will power.

 Orange Candle: For attracting good things, success, energy building and enthusiasm.

Yellow Candle: For inspiration, creativity, learning and intelligence

Green Candle: Harmony, rejuvenation and growth.

Blue Candle: For memory, patience and devotion.

Purple Candle: For psychic powers, meditation, spirituality and hidden knowledge.

White Candle: Sincerity, devotion, purification, protection, power, purify and spirituality.

Four Elements/Quarters Candles

 Alter

Full Moon

Place your elements candles in the proper places on the ground, make sure you have room the alter and you. Then put the other candles in any order you want on the alter but make sure they are in the circle. Light the elements candles first before you start the ritual then the other candles.

Take the wand or staff into your dominated hand and pass it slowly over each color candle. While you do this, visualize the wand absorbing the energy from each candle. Make sure you don’t get too close to the candle or your wand will burn! 

When your done, raise the wand to the sky and chant:

Oh Lord, my God! Bless the tree that has give unto me this holy instrument. And with your powers of air, fire, earth, and water Oh Lord. Please bless this wand so it may be my holy instrument for the use of magick.

Kiss your wand to seal with a bit of your energy, pour all of your emotions and personal energy while kiss the wand. Give thanks to God and that ends the ritual.

Beware the Haunted “Ghost Shack” at this Old Florida Cemetery

In 1853, the Sylvan Abbey Cemetery was built in Clearwater, Florida. Now called the Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, the cemetery is home to the county’s oldest recorded burial. But history is not the only thing this memorial park is steeped in.

According to local legend a small, dilapidated shack is on the grounds, hidden behind dense foliage near the garden of reflections. Many believe that a family once called the small building their home. Stories of the family circulate to this day.

It’s been said that the father who lived there took a pitchfork and brutally murdered his wife and son. A lot of Clearwater residents believe this is just a myth, as they have never been able to locate the shack. But one local did…and today he is sharing his story.

Trail Cam Photographs Ghost Girl?

A trail camera posted in a wooded area of upstate New York captured an eerie image of a little girl that has left an entire town baffled.

The strange photo came to light after property owners in Cambridge, New York noticed the spooky-looking child among the images produced by a trail cam they had set up on their land.

Concerned as to why a little girl was playing by herself deep in the woods, the landowners shared the photo with police in the hopes of identifying the child.

And this is where things get spooky as authorities have attempted to locate the little girl or her family for the last few weeks, yet have come up short, and no one in the town seems to have any idea who she is.

While some might suspect the image is some kind of hoax, the Cambridge chief of police says that it is genuine and that the unnamed landowners only wished to ensure that the little girl was safe when they turned the photo over to authorities.

The puzzling photo has become the talk of the town in Cambridge, where residents debate whether it actually shows a ‘ghost girl’ or if it is just a normal image.

However with no one stepping forward to identify the child yet, it seems that the mystery may linger for quite some time.
