If my anxiety was a person…
On some days, she would be by my side constantly; she would push me so I drop my mother's expensive cup, intimidate me when I'm giving a presentation. When I'm alone, she'll pull my hair and punch me straight in the face.
Anxiety would be rude to my parents, snatch away my plate of food. My highness would just NOT grant me the authorization to have my food or listen to songs.
She would scream at the top of her lungs if I was happy.
When I would clean the house, she would throw stuff around just for fun.
On the days when I would have exams, it would sit on my head and remind me I will fail. It would hide away my books and take over my body, controlling my sense of sight, smell and touch. On the days when I dance, it would tangle its feet into mine, making me fall.
Perhaps, on other days, it would come as soon as I get my marksheet at school or a ping from my crush, leaving me with my toes curling. It would return when my mom checks my phone and asks me about everything in there when all I look forward to is silence and soft songs. It would come back when I’d look forward to a peaceful night. However, this time it would come back with it's other friend group which I dislike, including stress, overthinking and depression.

Dyslexia Awareness 📝
A child with severe dyslexia may never have an easy time reading, but they can learn to improve their reading skills and develop strategies to improve their school performance and quality of life.
The best way to help adults and children is to be supportive of them by talking to them or praising their talents and strengths. Limiting screen time and substituting that time with reading time is very helpful and so is joining a support group and interacting with people.
The most famous representation of Dyslexia in the Indian Entertainment Industry is the highly rated 2007 Bollywood Movie ‘Taare Zameen Par’ starring Aamir Khan, Darsheel Safary which revolves around a kid who is misunderstood by everyone including his parents until he meets a very passionate teacher who helps him learn through innovative ways after realising that the kid has dyslexia.
Globally, in the famous best selling novel series ‘Percy Jackson’ written by teacher turned author Rick Riordan admitted that he made up the fact that all demigods had dyslexia and ADHD to motivate his own kid who had dyslexia and was going through depression.

what are your favourite things to do/places to go alone? i've been alone a lot recently and being out and about really makes me feel a lot less lonely
wondering around the library looking at the collections—taking the bus anywhere, listening to music, pretending I'm in a film—long walks with my camera taking all the time I need to get the perfect light for a picture—taking myself to the greengrocer and buying all the freshest, greenest seasonal vegetables then going home and making myself a meal which is a complete labour of love—making a pilgrimage to a new café, settling in with a coffee, reading and people-watching for hours—trawling all my favourite second-hand bookshops, delighting in finding something in each one—going to a gallery and staring into the art until I don't feel like I'm real—making an iced matcha latte, lying on the grass in the park, enjoying the matching greens—long showers, a hair mask, a face scrub, all the fancy moisturiser and my dressing gown—lying in bed with a vinyl on the player and lavender in the diffuser—playing animal crossing or sims for hours—getting my hair washed and cut!—challenging myself to learn a new song and play it loudly even if it's terrible (hello rocket's tail)—dancing in my pyjamas in the kitchen—getting out the A1 pad from under the bd and drawing huge shapes with my whole arms—going for an early morning run and pushing myself a tiny bit further than I thought I could—going through cookbooks, bookmarking new recipes, making shopping lists for ingredients—going to the cinema to see something I wouldn't see otherwise—going to bed early and listening to a funny podcast that makes me laugh loudly even though there's no one but me to hear it
