I've been waiting for someone to mention this. Honestly, I believe she intended for the Traveler to be depicted in a pose of reverence, either with praying hands or kneeling before the statue.

Or, if I let my imagination run wild, it could take on a much darker twist. Perhaps the Traveler could be positioned on an altar laying down in front of the statue, akin to a sacrificial lamb, serving as an example for those who opposed the view of eternity. The Shogun is clever, and I genuinely think she might have even discovered a way to harness the Traveler's energy.

I little question/speculation thing for a oneshot I want to write after I recover from having bones removed from my face and after I finish my long awaited wish fic:

When the shogun puppet said she intended to inlay the Traveler into the omnipresent god statue, how do you guys think that was gonna work?

I imagine it would have been at the back between the wings, but are there any other ideas?

I saw the new Superman movie I don't think it woke at all or support either party agenda.

Honestly I feel like everyone wanna make everything politically.

Superman is a just guy with powers who tries to do right, when other do not or it hard to do. It not a deep profound message..it simple be kind, and help others, try to do better, even when it tough.

Superman isn't woke. You're just so evil that you see a man doing acts of kindness and you think it's a targeted political agenda

I’m a reader and an author who tends to develop my characters through the life lessons and trauma they experience in my stories. Me currently particularly staring in my fanfiction, "The Road Not Taken."

It for plot and stories development I swear!!!

Are earthlings susceptible to magic? This is a fascinating question, and I believe the answer varies based on game lore. While all Descenders are outlanders, not all outlanders are Descenders.

I think it's safe to say that regular humans are indeed vulnerable to magic. However, in Teyvat, the inhabitants seem to possess a magical essence in one way or another, as they are connected to the elements of their world.

Regarding outlanders, if we take Skirk as an example. Yes, she has power. If you've played her story quest.

*spoilers ahead*

We briefly glimpse her home world, where her people are known for having Abyssal energy. However, they live ordinary lives and do not actively utilize this power, even when threatened. The only reason Skirk taps into those abilities is due to her master. Although she doesn't possess a Vision, there's a good chance she isn't recorded in Irminsul like our Traveler either. Still, she has something that functions similarly to a Vision.

I believe earthlings might experience a similar phenomenon. While elements may not react to them immediately, prolonged exposure could lead to unique abilities. Earthlings may be perceived as weak, yet they are likely durable, possibly even unbreakable. Or maybe more sensitive like with natural. Maybe even entering the world of the Aranara or Yokai.etc

If we consider the situation based on SdRgau Au, I imagine earth humans would be more resilient and agile, potentially adapting to heavier gravity and different elemental influences on their bodies. As for animal features, I don't think these would manifest in the first generation of humans at least that my head cannon.

However, if earthlings do develop such traits, it would likely occur in the third or fourth generation. Evolution takes time, and we see this illustrated in the game with Tighnari's race, the Valuka Shuna. Their fur, for example, started off light and has darkened over time as they've adapted to living in the rainforest. That would be so cool.... Like people who develop wings or bird like features or aquatic features Webb hands etc.

I can definitely envision the first generation of Earthing developing a more primitive form of elemental abilities. They might even create a style reminiscent of "Avatar: The Last Airbender. Being able to use the element like the traveler without a vision. Which would definitely make earthlings a valuable race in Teyvat.

These are just my thoughts on the matter

Y'know how Visions are powered by one's willpower, and most likely have a fragment of the user's soul in em? Wouldn't they be effected by a person's perception and such?

... And aren't Earthlings super weak to magic?

Well, maybe, juuusstt maybe, if an earthling is around a Vision Holder (Alogene? Is that the term?? I don't think I spelled it right :( ) for too long with a certain perception of them, perhaps

Would the Vision holder's magic start to warp the human to fit the perception? Especially if their vision is unstable and leaking magic or if the person is really powerful

Also I mean general exposure to magic energies are gonna fuck with human biology anyhow, perhaps when the magic tries to infuse with them, they could gain animal traits

But, Dendro would probably add general fuzzy mammal traits and some buggie traits(doggies, kitties, ants, caterpillars, y'know)

Electro would add bird of prey traits and predatory/exotic insect traits (Owls, Hawks, Dragonflies, Stag Beetles)

Pyro would definitely add draconic, dinosaur, or bird traits. I don't need to explain that just look at Saurians

Hydro would add aquatic animal traits, most likely mammalian aquatic animals (whales, seals, dolphins, otters.... Though, perhaps if it was Neuvi causing it... They could get turned into Melusines...)

Cryo would definitely just be any artic species, maybe some deep sea creature traits if they fit

And Geo would do reptilian traits, but also uh... Basically enhanced humanoid traits??? (Humans are stuck with neotony. But also, maybe some like, mythical lil helper vibes or monkey. Monkey lizard-)

This AU honestly makes sense, especially if you have a younger sibling. I have two genshin account. One my main and the other, my little bro uses that one. Cause he like genshin too. We play co op anlot. This such a neat idea...

Been think about this for a while, you know how there it is this AU's where the characters are self aware, or like the reader is the creator and then there's the imposter version and all of that, it's almost all the same, reader arrives, imposter in charge, they go after reader, harm him, and be like "golden blood oh no" and thing's like these, but I want to make my own version, nothing about cult, or yanderism, no violence, just comedy, silliness and explosions sooooo let me introduce you to my concept of this AU

About my AU

The reader here is a kid, which means everything is platonic!!! I imagine like this: reader is probably around the same age as klee and diona, but she's very smart and clever, so one day while trying to get her sister's attention she notices she's playing something new, but since she is a kid, she doesn't have a phone yet, so she sometimes she have to play on her sister's phone, that's when she discovers Genshin, tadam! Her sister creates an alt account for her and let's her play when she's busy, honestly reader knows 0% what they're doing, I think they would just use the characters they find cute, like, they could have a perfect 5 star artefact, but will not use it because "it doesn't Match the character" so instead they will use crappy 3 stars and pick the most looking cool weapon, and let's be honest, they're living the life.

As for banners, they would not know a thing about pity system, even if their sister tries to explain they just get more confused, but that's not much to expect from a kid who pays Genshin and at the same time runs in the rain and make mud cake's, so they wouldn't even know if the character their getting is good, or perchance a 5 star-

So they just run around killing enemies and finding chests, and probably getting stuck on quests (that's why older sister's are here for!)

So let's address the big elephant in the room, I know your asking, would the characters try to hurt the reader? HELL NO, they are a cinnamon roll, so when reader arrives at Genshin they are very excited and scared, but the first thing they do is looking for their sister, that's when they found klee fish bombing, and then the story go on.

There is an imposter in this AU but it's not related to anything like "creator" it's more centered about the concept of the player, since the player helps and farm itens for the characters they have huge respect for them, so that means the imposter could be a hacker or someone who have access to the account, someone who can play on that account.

But this AU is indeed going to have reader ran away from some nations, not because they are in danger, but they want adventure! Imagine reader going to inazuma to hangout with sayu or reader going to Natlan and meeting kachina! There's a lot of possibilities, but one thing is for sure, don't let reader and klee together for too long...

May the archons bless Jean, because jeez, now she is going to have to deal with two klee's.

I don't know if this concept is very good so please tell me what do you guys think of it.

That one video, is the whole reason I stated playing genshin. I found it so cute, I told myself if the game like this...I should totally play..Now I am a unhinged Cyno Main....

Sometimes I think about that one advert I saw years ago where Cyno and Tighnari gaslight Kaveh in the form of a full choreographed music video into believing he's jealous of Alhaitham, like the whole tavern joins in and there's a rap section and by the end of the musical number Kaveh is a husk of the man he used to be but then Tignari's voice gets soft and he's like 'it's okay buddy, we've all been there before' the music soars and he finally admits it at the behest of his peers. Then Alhaitham bursts in like, "I knew it!" and everyone cheers while Kaveh falls into an even deeper depression, knowing there is no longer a single soul on the planet he can trust.

I had more ideas for my >post< involving a pregnant, exile Furina!MC. Enjoy part 2~

Oceanid route - Platonic Oceanid x Furina!MC

Furina!MC never makes it to Sumeru, her dingy boat breaking to pieces when a large wave flips it over, causing a weak Furina!MC, still in chains, to strugle in the water till she passed out, thinking she was going to die like this, alone...

...Only, she wakes up, alive, and most certainly not alone.

All around her were Oceanids.

She obviously thinks they only saved her to kill her themselves as you remembered their hatred towards Focalors. She flinches when one comes closer, fins reaching out towards her, thinking this was it-

-only to be hugged.

The Oceanid purrs, cooing out soft noises of comfort as more Oceanids come closer, making the same noises. Their fins were watery but smooth as they cuddled a confused Furina!MC.

It's only when one of them speaks clearly does she break down into tears. And it was tears of relief.

"You are safe sister... You are safe with us... You and the little one... You are safe with kin..."

They didn't see Focalors in her. They felt remnants of Focalors in her, but nothing else. They felt her death, so that's why they came to Fontaine's water... only to see the humans and the Hydro Sovereign cruelly throw away a young human that smelled of Oceanid. An Oceanid with young.

So Furina!MC was welcomed by the Oceanids, finding a home and family with them as her child grew in her belly.

Furina!MC was happy... until something went wrong.

Furina!MC, she... she didn't make it through her child's birth. Her body, despite everything the Oceanids did, was much too fragile from all the stress it was put through with the prophecy and her forced exile.

So, with a wailing little girl cradled in one Oceanid's fins, they sadly look at the sister they lost so suddenly... only, Furina!MC doesn't stay dead. Her body, cold and unmoving, begins to melt into water, shifting and turning... before an Oceanid took her place.

The Oceanid, Furina!MC, tilts her head confusion, asking softly who they all were, and also who she was.

But even as she asks this, her head turns towards the still wailing child.

"...My baby? That- She's mine-"

She may have forgotten everything, but a mother never forgets their own child.

...A few years later rumors begin circulating in Fontaine about Oceanids being seen more frequently in the waters of Chenyu Valley.

And reports say a child was seen swimming with then-

it happens so suddenly. Her boat barely touches the sandy shores of Sumeru when Furina!MC blacks out and wakes up to find herself back on earth. She was even in her old body!

She even learns that while she may have been gone for 500 years while in Teyvat, she's only been missing for 5 months on earth.

And while she was back in her original body, her worst fears are confirmed when she was taken to the hospital after being found unconscious outside her house.

Somehow, despite her being in her original body which by all accounts should be untouched as she never slept with anyone in her past life, but of course, Teyvat loved to fuck with her cause the doctor said she was pregnant.

She knew it was Neuvillette's. He was the only man she's ever slept with, and the timing even matched up as she recalls sleeping with him for the first and ONLY time a week or so before the prophecy.

She remembers how she had been stressed that night, having drank several glasses of wine, and Neuvillette was helping to her room, and she kissed him-

...She didn't want to think about that incident anymore.

Her family thought someone took advantage of her, which is why she was kidnapped, but it wasn't the truth. You and Neuvillette willing slept together.

But she never thought she would get pregnant... She didn't even think she could, to be honest, not with the way Focalors treated her body...

But none of that mattered. She was back in her world. A world that was safe. Where she didn't need to act like someone she wasn't and a world where she wouldn't be thrown away like yesterday's trash.

...Fast forward a year later, and she held a beautiful baby girl in her arms. Baby Seraphina looked exactly like her, and thankfully not like her 'Furina' self.

However, she did have Neuvillette's eyes...

MC shakes her head. No! She wasn't going to push her fear onto her child! Her precious little girl...

And that should've been that. MC would go on raising Seraphina as a single mom with the help of her family and friends, all around a happy ending, no?

...No, no MC didn't get her happy ending as the moment all of Fontaine discovered her diary back in Teyvat, the fate of MC and baby Seraphina was set in stone.

Neuvillette somehow manages to find his way to MC's world. He finds his way into her house. Finding her sound asleep in bed... with a baby Seraphina sleeping beside her.

Neuvillette drinks in the sight of both HIS mate and HIS daughter, remembering the pure shock and horror he felt when he read the last page of HIS mate's diary, about how she thought she was pregnant-

And he exiled her. All alone, in chains, and in a dingy boat that could've collapsed. She could've drowned and he wouldn't have known!

What was he thinking back then?! He had been so angry about her 'lies', he just-

A small coo was heard, knocking him out his thoughts and he sees HIS hatchling staring sleepily up at him. Her eyes were like his-

He easily snatches away his mate and hatchling back to Teyvat. Back to Fontaine. Locking them both up in the Palais Mermonia where he could always keep a close eye on them.

There was no happy ending. At least, not for MC...

Poor little Seraphina... as she grew older, she would always wonder why her mama seemed so scared of papa or the other nice people of Fontaine.

If only she knew...

Seraphina in both ideas would definitely try to re start the prophecy if she knew what Fontaine and Neuvillette did to her mama... She was the child of a goddess, even if she was 'fake', and a child of the Hydro Sovereign. She had power to back her up and that's terrifying.

Celestia route - Platonic Celestia x Furina!MC

Furina!MC was crying on the boat when she heard it. A rippling sound. Like when you toss something into water and it ripples, but... It was coming from the air.

And then she sees it, a crack forms in from of the boat. A crack in midair, and it opens like a beast ready to bite down on flesh.

And a woman steps out. And even though it's been 509 years, she still remembers Genshin Impact opening cut scene. The goddess that attacks the twins. The Heavenly Principles-

HP (Heavenly Principles) examines her blankly for several seconds before smiling an odd smile and lifts her hand.

Furina!MC has barely any time to understand as cubes begin to form all around her, swallowing her up in darkness-

...She wakes up somewhere else. Somewhere... Warm. Beautiful. And... And in the sky.

Was she in Celestia?!

...Furina!MC would come to learn that yes, she was in Celestia, and Celestia themselves kidnapped- er, invited her here.

They wanted to meet face to face the one who tricked them, the one who played the part of Hydro Archon while that cowardly Focalors stumbled around in the background.

They weren't mad. Annoyed, yes, but mostly amused.

They found Furina!MC to be rather fascinating, and even they had respect for her never ending stage play when everything came to an end.

She was so fascinating that they wanted to meet her... Only, even they and the HP didn't consider the fallout of the prophecy as Fontaine and an ungrateful fully powered Hydro Sovereign threw Furina!MC away like trash.

Well, another thrash is another's treasure, and Celestia won't let this gem walk off so easily.

And if those humans and that arrogant Sovereign didn't want this precious Goddess (yes, goddess, she was more than worthy of the title-) who more than deserved the time of Hydro Archon than even that coward Focalors or that fool Egeria.

Then Celestia will take her for themselves.

Especially since she was carrying that annoying Hydro Sovereign's youngling. That little soul... It might come in handy one day...

But for now, they, along HP and the 4 shades, welcome this little goddess to their ranks. It will take some time for the poor dear to come to accept her new status, but Celestia had all the time in the world...

Several years later the HP appears in the center of the Court of Fontaine, announcing that a new Hydro Archon had been chosen... all the while 'The chosen Hydro Archon', a teenaged Seraphina, stood beside her, glaring darkly at Neuvillette, who could only stand there horrified as he sees how much she looked like his ex-mate... But had his eyes and horns.

The hangout events where the characters are looking directly at the camera and basically talking to you.

Also this line to the Traveler in Yun Jin's hangout

Why'd she trail off like that, hm? She knows...

Also also the way the companions look at you in the teapot. Especially if you put them near each other. I put my hydro catalysts together (kokomi please come home don't you want to join the club please) and decided to see what Mona says when you put her in there. Then you got the other three staring at you while you're talking to someone else waiting to see if you're gonna talk to them too.

In the case of sagau, you can easily imagine this as them being either jealous that you're talking to somebody else, being nosy, or longing and wishing you were talking to them too.
