I am Omar Mazen Rabah Hammad, I am 18 years old, and my brother Muhammad Amr is 41 years old, married and has 4 children. I live alone. We have lost many members of our family and our sisters, and Muhammad suffers from MS.💔

This disease has affected my eyesight. I can't walk on my feet because of the nerves. I hope everyone stands with me to get treatment outside Gaza. 💔💔

This is my picture before the war on the Gaza Strip. I was living in peace. I was a person who loved life. I was able to provide my children with a happy life. But now, unfortunately, I will not be able to do anything because of the illness and the loss of walking. Most of the time, I lose my sight. Eslam is a teacher and a young mother of 2; Hanaa (age 5) and Ana (age 1). Since last year, she and her family have been fighting to survive the siege on Ghazzah.

She and her family lost their home to the bombings, displacing them all to a tent. The unhygienic conditions have caused both of Eslam's children to develop skin diseases.

Medicine and soup are extremely expensive in Ghazzah, $30 a bar; since Eslam's husband Rasmi had his place of work bombed, these prices are are completely unsustainable.

In order to help support their daily life and be able to evacuate, they need to raise $50,000 USD. So far, they've only raised $14,262 USD; their last donation was 4 hours ago.

guys i'm truly anxious about the election hysteria detracting from attention that should be going into fundraisers, so ahead of all the ruckus i genuinely think it's important to remember and that fundraisers remain paramount. platforming campaigns periodically is one of very few ways we can help and i'm worried many people will lose sight of that in the midst of the pointless discourse about the election. but it's literally all smoke and mirrors and none of it makes a tangible difference the way fundraising does
