That conversation between Aaron and Robert was exquisite. In spite of everything Aaron has said to Robert since Monday, he couldn't leave that village without having as proper of a goodbye with Robert as he was emotionally capable of having right now. I know he needed it just as much, but the fact he wanted to give Robert that moment absolutely broke me. He didn't want to leave things the way he had in the flat on Wednesday. And you can tell he wants to say so many other things, but he just can't yet. So he said 'maybe in another life', only to be hit with Robert's 'I can't stop loving you in this one'. That line was earth-shattering. Aaron 'who's ever going to want to love me' Dingle being told those words so freely and with nothing expected in return was breathtankingly beautiful. And it put me on the floor. Then his soft, sad smile slipping the minute the representation of the life he's now chosen said the words 'our future'.

Scene of all time. It was absolutely perfect from first word to last.
