"we choose our gender as male when we're prompted with who we're attracted to, if we choose attraction to all genders we are locked from choosing either option to even continue the story

specifically, this shows up: startup line 597: invalid indent, expected at least one line in 'if' true block" If you encounter this bug, I'm really sorry. I'm experimenting with gender and sexuality in the code to add non-binary as a gender, and I wrote the wrong or bad code for that section. It's fixed now! How about giving it another go?

Hello everyone.

I have to postpone this month's update because I'm busy with my studies. I'm currently at 60% with chapter 3, but as I said earlier, I'm not going to be able to finish the chapter this month, and I'm really sorry. I don't know when I'm going to publish chapter 3, but hopefully not that long from now.

do your ocs like giving or receiving physical affection more? wb words of affirmation?

K likes to receive and give physical touch, but they are more inclined towards giving because of the need to please their partner. They also like to use pet names for their partner to make sure everyone knows that they are taken.

H likes a moderate amount of physical touch. They prefer to do something for their partner. More like an act of service kind of person. They only use pet names when there's no one else around because they say it's more romantic.

D loves to receive physical touch in any form, whether it's a smack on the back or a kiss on the eye. As long as their partner is touching them, they will like it. They prefer to use their partner's name when in public, but they have a special name for their partner in an intimate situation. What's the special name, you ask? You just have to wait.

U don't really mind physical touch. They just want to spend their days cuddling on a couch or going on a surprise picnic with their partner. They use embarrassing pet names in public but change them to be more sweet in private.

Yes, I will continue the story. I will update it next month, maybe. I'm not sure yet. I have to rewrite chapter 2 based on the poll's result and start to write chapter 3. So, the writing process will be a bit confusing but i will make it work.

how would the ros react to an mc who flirts very boldly, but when doing actual romantic stuff like kissing or going on dates they tend to get very nervous (in a good way)

Thank you Anon for the question. I will also give hints on Unknown's personalities 😉.

K would let out an excited squeal while clenching their fists. Then they'd squeeze MC's cheek and say, "You are so adorable!" and proceed to hug MC.

H would get confused by MC and start freaking out. They'd be like, "Did I do something wrong? Are you uncomfortable?". Then, MC would need to calm them down and say, "I'm just nervous because you look so darn gorgeous."

D would totally laugh and start teasing MC until they noticed MC's face turning all red. Then, with a sly grin, they would get closer and say, "Need me to hold your hand to get your courage back, huh?"

U would chuckle and ruffle MC's hair while saying "Hey, it's okay to feel nervous sometimes," before flashing a warm smile and adding, "Especially when you're looking at a god/goddess like me."

I hope these are the reactions that you are hoping for. I'm sorry for the late reply 🙇‍♀️. I've been busy for the past two days.

Based on how quick things can move with the LI, Is it accurate to assume we'll be locked into romances quite early into the game? or no, they'll still take some time?

Lol I did not think we'd actually be able to kiss Hayden lmao. I thought he'd stop us. OMG. Because we've hardly interacted with him, especially on THAT level, so that was an unexpected delight.😭💞

Hahaha... I'm glad that you enjoyed reading it. I've been thinking about locking the romances early for MC because I want you guys to experience each RO's romance route but don't forget, there is one more RO you have not met yet.

Let me clarify things: MC has been working long enough at the station, and only now do they realise they have feelings for their 'coworkers'😉. So, the romance will progress faster as they knew each other before chapter 1 started. As for D, their seduction and flirting skills are so high that MC will always fall for them. Don't blame me, blame D.

Hiii!! I hope you're doing well today(or tonight depending on where you're located lol)

I hope this doesn't come off rude but I wanted to point out something that's kinda throwing me off a tad bit. MCs personality.

So we have the option of being friendly, charming and whatnot right? Well i'm not, i'm doing the total opposite; going for a more serious deposition. My highest stats are Intimidating, Stoic, indifferent with some sarcasm. Something mostly similar to our Captain.

But the problem is that MC seems to carry this Friendly, playful and kind of genuine demeanor no matter what.

It gives the feeling that MC has a set personality, a little bit. Is that the case?

It's not really a ruining aspect for me, i promise I still love this IF regardless so far. Like I said, it just throws me off, when i'm tryna be a bit more closed off but as soon as the next scene comes around MC just isn't going for it and goes right back to smiles and charms lol.

Oh yea, also the pronouns are all wonky for our partner and MC.

Hi Anon! I'm sorry about the problems that you've been having. I will fix the way MCs react to the situation. Do you prefer I add the choices or let it happen automatically?

For the pronouns, before I publish every update, I try to read and fix the pronouns or errors that I've encountered, but I can't notice all of them. So, I want to ask you guys to help me by pointing out the errors and informing me about them. You can inform me on tumblr or the COG forum.

Heya!! I was wondering if there's any way, we can get info on the ROs? Like personality wise.

Maybe include them in the intro or on the post with the face claims(or just under my ask lol). If not, that's fine too. It's not really a problem. I just thought it'd be helpful when deciding who to romance and what gender we'd prefer them as, if we knew a bit about them beforehand.🙂

but... can we not to have any romantic feelings for K? It's a bit uncool when we're forced to it.

You can actually choose not to romance K by choosing the last option. If you play with the hearts emoji, the one without emoji is the professional option. The one when you're in a dream is the only sequence where I didn't include the option to not romance K, but you can choose the last choice as the detective doesn't want to ruin their friendship and job. But if you want me to add non-romantic choices in the dream sequence, please let me know. I didn't add it because I would like players to experience romance, as I only write about K for the time being.

Edit: I will add non-romantic choices for all of the RO in the next update.

Cheerful and friendly. Their cheerfulness lightens the atmosphere even in the darkest of cases. Know the names of every person in town and remember each one of them (but seriously, they remember each one of them).

Sweet and thoughtful. Known for their considerate nature, always ready to lend a listening ear and offer support (basically a go-to person). Their thoughtfulness extends to small gestures that show they genuinely care about the well-being of their friends and coworkers (even though they hate some of them).
