On twitter I’m seeing dozens of threads from Black activists warning people against burnout, giving all sorts of useful tips about preventing and managing it for the sake of a long-term, sustainable effort.

On tumblr I’m seeing a hell of a lot of young white kids yelling at anyone who actually follows those steps, and acting like burnout is a moral falling rather than a well-proven psychological phenomenon.

Be careful who you get your information from. Don’t let guilt lead you to make choices that will harm both you and the movement.

i LIVE for the fics where merlin's magic LOVES arthur

especially when it unconscious. like merlin's magic will make arthur's bed warmer in the cold days or will protect his vision on rainy days while he's training the knight or no matter how long he will be busy his food (or drink) is not cold

something about merlin loving so much arthur that his magic loves him too. we can think that maybe is because arthur was born from magic and anything involve from magic reacts to him.

but you and me, we know the truth.

and a part of this is canon. in "the diamond of the day" when merlin reveals his magic, he says "i have magic, and I use it for you arthur, ONLY FOR YOU" ???? I know what you are

I make fun of Morgana in S3 going around evilly smirking in newfound eyeliner a lot but imagine being Gwen that year. Your best friend was missing and you wept when you thought she was dead, but now she’s back. Except she’s not. She’s different? Maybe you’re imagining things. Sometimes you turn around and she’s watching you, and you didn’t hear her come in, and the hairs raise on your arms like you’re being hunted. You can’t explain why. She doesn’t talk to you anymore. istg no matter how many times i see bradley james posting merlin stuff it always hits me right in the feels i mean him calling merlin/colin the original clotpole and it’s actually a pic from the episode merlin calls him clotpole for the first time and they’re so adorable in it and picking the song and putting those emojis there you don’t get it this is everything to me
