So some good news.

The WFP is actually reaching Ghazzawis for food distribution and has even helped Ghazzan bakeries in Deir Al Balah and Rafah reopen by providing flour, yeast, water, etc... according to Palestinian journalist Hind Khoudary (this was on her story the other day so I can't link it).

The PCRF is also active in Ghazzah, providing medicine and even food to Ghazzawis in shelters.

Today, I ask each one of you to donate at least one dollar to both of these organisations, and more if you can spare it.

Palestinian photographer Saleh Aljafarawi announced the death of Hadiya Nassar on Thursday. “You were martyred, my beloved. May God have mercy on you and make your resting place Paradise,” Aljafarawi wrote on the social media platform X. Al-Jazeera mentioned Aljafarawi as saying that he learned from his cousin that  “members of the Israeli army sniped at (Nassar) at the door of her house”. Nassar became a popular figure after appearing in a video posted by Aljafarawi, who visited her while at the hospital as she was recovering after being wounded in an Israeli airstrike. In the video, the Palestinian photographer held the woman’s identity card and told her: “You are older than Israel”. “Of course, of course,” Nassar responded, adding “I am holding on to the (Palestinian) land.” Since October 7, 17,177 Palestinians have been killed and more than 46,000 wounded, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.

Random thought but so many white people with platforms have tried very hard as of late to make “anti-whiteness” an axis of oppression so it’s understandable why a lot of Black and brown ppl shy away from being labeled as just that, but my radical opinion is that you should be anti-white. If you are of the realization that whiteness informs the systems that has warped and marred this world into something that is unsustainable, you should be of the realization that it needs to be cut out like the cancer it is from this world. You should staunchly stand on the fact that whiteness and white people should not exist. Its very existence has caused the death of millions and the disconnect of people from our relationship with land and other lifeforms, as well as from various cultures, languages, and communities. Whiteness should not exist and I hope to see its legacy fall apart in my lifetime.
