    The two survivors were tucked neatly behind a shrub, attempting to come up with a plan to get inside a certain building, the only problem being it was swarming with walkers.. The reason they were even bothering to check it out was because the building itself appeared to be untouched by humans, the undead were probably keeping everyone away, and it proved to be a perfect opportunity to get good supplies. If they were to get in, get supplies, and get out, Shane and Glenn would need to use their heads.

“You got my back right? If we’re gonna do this, we gotta work together.. Otherwise we’ll be screwed–”

    As if on cue, 

”I will follow you into hell if you ask me to.”

    The words that escaped his friend’s mouth were surprisingly sincere, it actually caught Glenn off guard.. In a way he almost felt accomplished, Shane was often the type of person to follow his own rules, but, he decided not to address it, considering they had bigger fish to fry.

“Alright.. Good.. So, there’s a fire escape on the left side of the building, if we use the cover of these shrubs, we can probably get close enough to sprint to the ladder without attracting too much attention.. I’m not sure what to expect on the inside though.. Let’s just hope there’s not too many, otherwise we could get cornered.”

A demented chuckle came from the man clad in leather, the bloodied baseball bat swinging absently in his hand as he stepped back from the fallen man. Abraham’s red hair shone with blood and brains, which were spreading slowly across the rough ground, forming a demonic halo around his body.

“Ha-ha!” He laughed, almost panting through the effort it took to pummel his victim’s head to disintegration. He turned his head to the Asian man, a sadistic smirk forming on his blood-speckled face.

“You hear that, Short-Round?” Negan asked, almost sauntering over to said man, and crouching down in front of him. “Your friend? He said ‘Suck Mah Nuts!’“

Upon not recieving a response, his smirk slowly turned into a deep frown, Lucille now coming around to be inches from Glenn’s face, dripping down onto his pants messily.

“Unless you want what Red got… You answer when spoken to…” He growled now, lowering the bat, and pressing it to Glenn’s chest. His voice was low, and dangerous, and without even a hint of uncertainty to it.  “… Understand…?”

    Dark hues averted from the mess that was now, or perhaps, WAS, his friend. Abraham had been reduced to nothing more than an unidentifiable pile of blood and brains in less than a minute, and to say it disgusted Glenn would be one hell of an understatement. What kind of reality was this? How could someone be so sadistic? People were using the apocalypse as an excuse to go gallivanting around making those who were less fortunate suffer, and it made every day harder than the last.

    A unchanging frown stained his features as his gaze lifted reluctantly to meet with that of the other man’s when he was spoken to.. If he didn’t understand the situation he was in as much as he did, Glenn would’ve happily spat in Negan’s face.. But considering he probably wouldn’t emerge unscathed from doing such a thing, he held himself back. When the blood ridden bat was pressed up against his chest, he couldn’t help but feel a little dizzy.. That was Abraham's blood.. Despite being exposed to similar situations in the past, Glenn could never get used to witnessing something like that. 

    What made it worse was the fact that this was all just a show.. This man was doing this simply because he wanted to be seen as top dog.. What a joke.. But if all it took to be left alone was to roll over and pretend to be good, then he could save his pride for another time..

“Yeah.. I get it..”

    He huffed out hoarsely, unwilling to make eye contact, simply because he didn’t want to see the man’s face.

    Recent circumstances were more than enough to make anyone depressed.. Nothing has happened in their favor for a while, and it was starting to show itself on the group.. It was truly a sad sight, everyone was either silent or barely making any small talk.

    A sigh escaped his lips as dark hues scanned the environment around them.. Not a single smile.. That’s when Andrea sat next to him, and before he could say a word, she beat him to it.

”I guess it doesn’t matter what we do. We’ll never be the ones in control.”

     The words that were uttered from her mouth were nothing if not pessimistic, and Glenn didn’t blame her for it, but he’d be damned if he didn’t try to do or say anything about it.. With a simple shrug, he looked at the ground in front of him, unwilling to make eye contact.

“The world’s all kinds of fucked up right now, I don’t think it’s even possible to be in control.. I mean, let’s just say there’s a super powerful group out there, there’s always the chance that another, maybe more strategic group could come along and figure out some way to bring them down..”

    It was like what happened in Woodbury, they had strong defenses and an abundance of supplies, but that didn’t prevent their downfall.. He was simply speaking what was in his head, and whether or not Andrea wanted to consider his thoughts was up to her.. At least she can’t say he didn’t try.

   Glenn could easily be considered the scout of the group, he was light on his feet and a quick thinker, that’s why he was usually the one to go on little missions to go find supplies or simply scan the area. Though times have changed, and despite usually doing these missions on his own back in Atlanta, it was now much safer to carry out tasks in groups.. That’s why Harley was with him.

   There was no such thing as too many supplies nowadays. Their current location, in a warehouse that was relatively safe, sturdy, and abandoned.. This observation was based solely on what they’ve explored so far, anything could happen, it was best not to let your guard down in a place like this.

   Upon peering through a hole in the ceiling from the top of a shelf, he heard a voice from below whisper just loud enough for him to hear, “Don’t go anywhere I can’t follow!” Peering down from his post, he simply chuckled.. It was a rather tall platform, so it wouldn’t surprise him if she had doubts about climbing it.

“Don’t worry, I can help you up.. Looks like there’s some good stuff hidden up here–”

    If he had a nickel for every time he almost got nailed by an unidentified flying object, Glenn would probably be rich. Unfortunately, money has no value these days so he wouldn’t really be wealthy, at least not in a materialistic kind of way, maybe he could be rich in spirit instead. Anyways, the arrow that so narrowly avoided his face nearly made him jump like a cat, quickly pulling out a pistol that had been precariously hidden under his shirt..

    That’s when he heard something heavy fall to the ground behind him. It was a walker. The arrow that previously missed him was lodged dead center between its eyes.. A perfectly executed attack, he’d never seen such precision before.. Despite the fact this stranger killed the walker that had nearly taken a chunk out of him, Glenn still kept his pistol out.. Better safe than sorry..
