Also, there was an older woman in front of me in line at the vaccine check-in, and I heard snippets of her conversation with the pharmacist. This pharmacist was a very southern white lady, and she was telling this woman they've changed a lot of the requirements around vaccines lately, and then she said "there's one who doesn't want ANY vaccines 😒" and having grown up in the south I can tell you the tone she used was "my politics are probably what you'd assume from my demographic and geography, but this is bullshit." I get a sense a lot of pharmacists are pissed off and want to get shots in arms, even in Tennessee.

I'm in the deep south and I just successfully got both my flu and updated COVID shots. I genuinely think some pharmacies are straight-up ignoring RFK at this point.

Now I will say that I made this appointment for the flu **and COVID** shots two weeks ago, and they came out with just the flu shot. I told them I had signed up for both, and the pharmacist said the COVID shot wasn't on the appointment, which is sus because I literally scheduled it for when they told me the new batch would arrive. Like that was the basis of the whole conversation about when I should schedule the appointment lol. But I told her I wanted both and she entered it in the system, said it went through, and just went and grabbed it without issue. So, honestly just ask because whether you *technically qualify* for the vaccine under Jack D. Ripper's new protocols may not determine whether they're willing to give you the shot.
