hi guys,, I really hate to do this, but nightveil will be going on a hiatus until the end of the month :( If you didn't know, I'm a student. Right now, it's finals season, and juggling those, my main acc, and nightveil is just way too much. So, for the sake of my sanity, there won't be an update until I'm out of school. Thanks for understanding, and I wish my fellow students luck on your finals :))

UPD8 ALERT!!!! Sorry this one took so long,,, turns out once a week updates with 20+ pages isn't really feasible when you have a life! The next few updates may have a wonky posting schedule because I'm trying to figure out what works best... but yea!! update!!!

okay, guys, I know with the once a week updates I SHOULD be posting an upd8 today, but unfortunately im not... I have a good reason tho I swear!!!!! my references are SO CLUTTERED AND OUTDATED and it's making it IMPOSSIBLE TO WORK ON THE UPDATE. Like I'm having to scroll through 20 pictures in the little reference box just to get colors for 2 CHARACTERS!!!! so yeah, delayed update BUT yall get official refs :)

idc that u guys haven't actually been introduced to moxxie or tixius yet YOUVE SEEN MOXIUS THATS CLOSE ENOUGH!!! but yeah I'll post the rest when their respective chars both get introduced :)

Wow, hi guys sorry I disappeared!!! Had to take a small break for my mental health, but I'm back frfr!! As a little apology, here's some storyboards from the next update and doodles!! We're finally getting to one of my fav aspects, character interaction!!!!!!!

PART 2 TIME BAYBEE!!!

Lynnli: Rogue, swashbuckler. She wanted to be a cleric, but it was too complicated for her :( She likes how simple playing rogue is tho, and enjoys sneaking around a lot.

Erin: Here's our Cannon DnD fanatic!! They've played pretty much every class, but their favorite is aberrant mind sorcerer. It would be wild magic sorcerer, but they don't think it triggers enough to be worth it.

Moxiusprite: Warlock, the feind. Tixius wanted to play a warlock, and Moxxie wanted fireball. It's a perfect match.

also!!! here's some doodles from some of the gangs old dnd sessions! These take place when they were all around 12/13.

would Amie (and her friend(s?)) play DnD, and if so, what class?

OH HELL YES THEY WOULD!!! in fact, a certain character (who has not been introduced yet) is a canon FLARP and DnD player!! But yeah here's classes for everyone who's been namedropped so far

Amie: Bard. She saw music casting and went crazy. College of Glamour specifically because she thought it sounded cool. She may not know much about dnd mechanically, but she's here for the rp aspect, so that doesn't matter.

Anne: Paladin, Oath of Redemption. She resonates with the whole redemption thing. She also likes being a front line fighter and protecting her party.

Finley: Artificer, Artillerist. They love the cannon and tried to recreate one irl after the first session with it. While it's not functional (yet), it makes a great dice holder! Also, out of these 3, they know the most about dnd mechanics.

UPDATE!!!! I was struggling HARD with motivation, but I finally finished it!!! Sorry to say, but from this point on, updates are probably going to be less frequent... I'll still update at least once a week! But yeah, trying to pump out an update every few days is kinda killing me so!!! I do hope you guys like this update tho, and lmk who your favorite char is now that there's more options!!!

guys it takes everything in me everyday not to just leak all the nightveil lore and chars.... like WDYMMMMM I can't scream about them on here... WDYM I have to keep secrets for narrative purposes.... absolutely unfair if u ask me

uuuuh hi guys, I'm so sorry for no leaks or update yet, I've been vv busy... Was out of town yesterday, so I couldn't work on nightveil AT ALL!!!
