Seeking comfort, she gets involved with Elliot Yung, a charming man, but far from capable of offering the loyalty she needs.

Meanwhile, Penelope, growing closer by the day, senses that something is wrong, but doesn’t know enough to warn her… and perhaps, when she does, it will already be too late.

↪ i actually finished the two rounds and now: the philips family, with a much-needed makeover for the house. they're gonna live where the beakers were supposed to live in the sims 2 psp, 'cause i don't want to take the beakers out of their charming castle.

↪ right now, i'm playing with hazel, who's now officially hazel doss after marrying gordon. even so, she has a complicated relationship with roland calonzo. curious or not, hazel doesn't feel much about gordon's death… she just feels weird about it.

bella always expressed to vidcund her desire to have a child. and then celestine curious-goth was born, a little girl with blonde hair and her mom's eyes. in the meantime, violet grew up and inherited from her father and uncles both intelligence and a passion for science. ↪ her traits: neat, genius, mean-spirited, and perfectionist.

vidcund now has a garden just for himself; every morning, he tends to and waters his plants, and sometimes… he even talks to them. emily always listens to him while she's taking care of the play area; she giggles quietly without him noticing.

☆ ˖° and finally, vidcund moved in with the love of his life, bella. although violet’s acceptance was difficult, she soon got used to the mansion, to bella, and slowly to emily. bella adopted a kitten named vellun so that violet would feel more comfortable and have a four-legged companion.

☽ ⋆˙⟡ penelope is such a good mom, and eleonora is a lucky girl because of it. eleonora grew up and inherited the devious trait from her father and, well, some parts of his personality too! jeez.

Autumn was Penelope’s favorite season. She loved watching the colors of the leaves and plants change from her window. Fittingly—or perhaps not by chance—Eleonora Newlow-Kline had been born in autumn too.

Her relationship with Dominic had never been serious. It was nothing more than an exchange of favors. Still, Eleonora turned out to be a welcome surprise for Penelope—though not for Dom.

During one of their arguments, she snapped:

— You're not going anywhere near my daughter, Dom! I don’t care if you want to pretend she doesn’t exist — I will raise her!

Dominic stood still for a moment, then spoke in a cold, measured tone:

— Fine. Feed her. Rock her. Do whatever you want. But if she ever sets foot in my way—makes a sound, draws my attention—you’re both out of this house.

— Don’t you dare speak to me like that! You can think whatever you want of me, but I was there when no one else was. I helped you when you couldn’t even get out of bed! I know what goes on in this damned house, Dom. I know. But if you ever lay a finger on Eleonora... you’ll regret it.

He stared at her for a moment, eyes blank and cold. Then he turned, climbed the stairs without a word, and disappeared.

Penelope wept silently, holding Eleonora close, her heart shaken.

Hazel had no idea her fate had already been sealed — and Dominic was the one who sealed it. She would never remember the interference, the manipulation, the quiet erasure of her memories... because he made sure of that.

And that's exactly how Dom likes it: total control. Watching everything unfold, pretending to be surprised by the consequences of his own actions — there's a certain thrill in orchestrating chaos from the shadows.

Over time, he and Penelope grew closer. Close enough for the unexpected to happen (yes, even to me. Thanks a lot, ACR)... A pregnancy.

— Penelope: How am I supposed to say this...? — Dom: Just say it. — Penelope: I'm pregnant and... — Dom: Good. I hope it’s a boy. If not, we can put it up for adoption.

Penelope stared at him, hoping he was joking. But he just kept eating in silence.

The rest of the dinner was as cold as his response.

A thin mist hangs over Paradise Place in the early hours of the morning. That’s when Dominic wakes — eyes sharp, already focused on his objectives.

On nights like these, he always checks to see if Penelope is in a deep sleep. Sometimes, he even steps closer, brushing a few strands of her hair with his fingertips.

It’s just a test, he tells himself.

Penelope has no idea there's a hidden room behind the slightly dusty bookshelf. Dominic has already warned her that it would be highly unethical for her to enter his bedroom without permission.

Later, as they sit down to eat, she pauses mid-bite, suddenly thoughtful.

"I woke up in the middle of the night… and had the oddest feeling something touched me."

Dominic chuckles and lifts his fork again.

"You know Nix loves poking around your room. You’re the one who gave her a bed and toys in there."

"I know Nix... but this felt different. Dom, are you absolutely sure the security cameras in this house aren’t working?"

Without missing a beat, and in a more serious tone, he replies:

"Positive. I’ll ask Nick to fix them later. You know how busy I’ve been..."
