My phone is about to die, I have my laptop with me as backup. I‘m not sure how but I’ll find away to get it connected with the internet. The house seems to become a lot colder by the second, I placed the key somewhere before I started searching, but I don’t remember where. It’s freezing in here. I‘m not very fond of this cold, not at all.

Of course I do, but there's no logical and physically possible way that she would come back. The paranormal exists yes, but we know little about any possible magic that would be able to rip ghosts out of the fabric of the universe...

I‘ve been strolling the halls of the manor for a while now, I want to make sure to have looked at every single detail around before I move on. There are no indications of any paranormal activities, less so any atypical activity. The whispering still hasn’t stopped and it seems to get more intense when I step into what seems to be the summer study.

Lovecraft is a strange town, almost like Summerville. Just that this time no ancient deity will try to kill us.

Log #5: 23rd January, Keyhouse - 3:30 AM

Getting here was more complicated than I thought, at first it was hard to feel my fingers and nose, but that is unimportant at the moment. The important thing is that as soon as I held the key my body warmed up again. The P.K.E isn't picking up anything yet but I have this constant whispering sound in my hearing aid. The entrance hall is very big, theres a big stained glass ceiling. It depicts a padlock with various symbols including two fleurs-de-lis, crossed keys, a small lock, and the four alchemical symbols for Earth, Fire, Water, and Air.  There's also a text in latin it reads; "NVLLVM EXTAT PROBLEMA QVOD SOLVI NON POTEST"("No Problem Exists That Cannot be Solved"). At the bottom, below the padlock is the Latin text; "OMNI CLAVSTRO CVIQVE EST CLAVIS"("Every Lock Has A Key").

And of course there is the Keyhouse monogram.

Log #4: 23rd January, Lovecraft Hotel - 2:38 AM

I don’t know if it’s luck or not but a snowstorm has hit us. This will force us to stay here for a while, approximately two days, till the storm is over and the streets are cleared from the snow.

The storm is comforting, but I can’t fall asleep. The, I suppose they’re intended to be abstract warnings, are keeping me awake though they shouldn’t. I know better.

The research isn’t getting me anywhere. I need to get back into that manor. Any and every detail seems important.

Log #3: 22nd January - Confectionary

Dr. Stantz hasn’t returned in about two hours. I am not sure wether to be worried or not.

I have decided on going back to the manor, Keyhouse manor. There has to be a reason why Dr. Stantz is acting this way. I‘m taking the key with me, though it always feels like it’s burning when it’s in my hand, there is no apparent reason for it to do so. No intense heat, nothing.

Log #2: 22nd January, Sweet Treasures Confectionery

Mr. Stantz has left me here at this confectionery, he did get me ice cream before he left. He's acting strange and I still havent figured out the key. Though I did find an aricle concerning the manor Keyhouse was built during the summer of 1750, by a young blacksmith named Peter Locke, who derived his surname from the work his family had specialized in for generations: the crafting of ingenious locks. Through the years the house has remained in the same family, passed down through the generations. Each generation of Lockes modified and expanded the house, Keyhouse gradually became a 'patchwork quilt' of a house; the Manor has everything from old pipes and WWII-era wiring to secret passages and a few ghosts. It seems the manor, Keyhouse Manor, has been abandoned since 2021, the same year Egon died. I still haven't figured out the key...

Log #1: January 22nd - Lovecraft, Massachusetts Today we got a call from Massachusetts, usually we would have asked another divison to take care of it. But this time Mr. Stantz insisted we take care of the call. The manor itself seemed to be built around 1750, nothing out of the ordinary. It's four stories tall and looked rather abandoned. This turned out to be true, we went in and found nothing, not one spectral trace. Instead I found a key, It has a strange shape, almost flame like. I don't know it's purpose but I will find out.
