COGFEE AU: CHAPTER 1

The year is some ambiguous point before 2010. C.O.G.S .inc is a thriving business in a world that's getting steadily more reliant on it as resources needed to produce energy are thinning out. With COGS having a seemingly infinite pool of resources to shell out to the rest of the world, folks are starting to wonder- What in the world could be their secret?

That's not important to Chip Revvington, though. All he's trying to do is find a nice, quiet place to eat his lunch- That can't be that hard to do in a company building this big, right?

(Hi!!! This is an au I've been building up and starting to write for about a week now, and I'm SO EXCITED to finally start sharing it!! This is the first time I've really worked on a full blown comic before, and I've been having a Blast. Won't spoil anything, but I hope folks are interested and stay tuned in for more :-) YIPPEE)

I’m asking this because…News flash, we seems to have figured out who pizzahead was.

Gustavo: "A former colleague? Once or twice, maybe- I mean, I brought up possibly helping him get back on track in case he couldn't make it through the tower, and he brought up something about the kitchen already being built around having more people in it... seemed happy I asked."

Gustavo: "... Now that I think about it though, I don't think he ever brought up any specific colleague. Never thought t' ask, considering how nervous he got on the fifth floor- he's already a nervous guy, but it seemed the thought of all that... I dunno. Partner branding? Marketability? Made him nervous."

Gustavo: "Especially all that restaurant... weirdness in that one spot. Pep said something about the uncanny valley, I think. I don't blame him."

Gustavo: "Dunno what that's got to do with Pizzahead, though. I haven't seen him around since the rest of us got out of the tower- why should I be worrying about him of all people?"

Gustavo: "... They can. Handle themselves down there, everyone. Pepperman, Vigilante, and... and Noise will find his way back to them, I'm sure. If I run into anyone, I'll do my best to help, but..." "Getting Peppino out of here is our main goal. And the last thing I want to do is stall for time."
