heyo my dudes.   methinks I am actually going to completely remake percys blog.   if you want me you know where I’m at, & I will be keeping an eye on messages here for the next little bit but otherwise thank you to everyone who has followed me here over the years & Im excited for a fresh start :’>

hiatus notice. //

hey guys.  I am just going to bite the bullet here  &  say I will not be back on Percy till December.  with everything going on  (  school, lab  &  work  )  I just don’t have the mental capacity to be online  &  write when Im trying to make sure I graduate otl.  as always I am available on dis/co/rd  &  t/w/itter if you want to talk  &  I will be back on Percy, but I need to take the time for myself to get everything in order so I can finish college strong.  these past few months have been a lot but its all been with the end goal of a degree in mind…  so thats what Im going to focus on.  thank you all for being so patient with me  &  I will see you all in just over a month  !!

I will b dropping from isola until I return so feel free to unfollow or whatever until I app back in for isola people.  for people who like indies my dean can be found at @estdevium  !!

it’s almost as if the city’s boundaries are pushing back with each step taken away from it, and none of her scanners are able to discern a cause. she wants to go further. the map of spirale she’d been building in her memory banks has already grown to cover its central region, hence why AR-15’s now exploring the outskirts. with features creased in a faint frown, she calls out to the nearby stranger.

                “hey—do you feel that, too?”

Percy is many things, but bored wasn’t currently one of them.  In fact, he was rather pleased with himself  (  like, come on, this was a stellar sandcastle  )  perched on the beach with the gloomy as Hades sky looming above the waves.  Another day in the life.

❝  Feel what  ??  the creepy fog  ??  it does that.  ❞  The demigod would know.  He poked it a few times.  Cheer tinted words thrown back at the stranger as his focus clung to the badly crafted walls of his tiny sand fortress.  ❝  Have you, too, been smacking the metaphorical bear with a stick  ??  ❞  Actions paused  (  partial frown, as stormy seas flash back to her face  ).  ❝  Not to tell you what to do but I’d let it be.  ❞

alright Im just gonna pop on here & say it.  Ive been quiet for a while ( as Im sure people have noticed ) & while yeah a lot of it has been school and work & stuff a big portion has been my poppop. between finally getting through his cancer treatments & then heart surgery ( which is how the cancer was found in the first place ) stuff had started evening out again only for him to take a spill & break his good leg ( no worries though, doc says with some pt he’ll be walking again ). I try to keep my family stuff seperate from my online stuff but Ive been putting a lot of focus into that. Im around, always am, but I am quiet.

Combat was a second tongue to Arthur, especially the sword. ‘Twas only natural he offer his own advice, for few swordsman were better than he. Arrogance did not define his heart, merely past conquests.

Eyes flash up to the company  (  partial smile  )  before his gaze flicks back to the very dead dummy.  Quiet snort at the advice as he takes a step back; words acknowledged all the same.  ❝  Not my first rodeo.  ❞  Blade raising to rest on the demigods shoulder  (  plain steel, a missed presence  )  with a raised eyebrow.  ❝  Although, there’s no way in Hades my blade is as heavy as yours.  Throwing out your back in your youth  ??  ❞  Humored words  ---  a comfortable tease.  ❝  Think I could argue demigod strength or something.  ❞

The dummy before him was more than dead.  In fact, the demigod would bet money it shouldn’t even be standing...  it was serving its purpose.  The sword gripped loosely in his hand spoke to experience  (  although, not the blade he trusted most  ).  Rolling back his shoulders, fingers flexing, before Percy is on it again.  There are worse ways to spend an afternoon.
