Tomorrow will make a week that I've been out of the hospital. I was having issues with severe suicidal thoughts and told my therapist, she had my mother take me to the ER where a few psychiatrists and a social worker evaluated me, deciding that I was a valid candidate to be committed to their ward. After being there for a week I felt a million times better; I was diagnosed with major depression with severe recurrence. Daily group therapy, one on one counseling, and starting new medications helped me in so many ways. There will always be bad days, but I haven't had one since I left. I haven't had that happen in so long, and last night was absolutely amazing. I feel...good.
