Ninjago Age Headcanons

I can't find the post I made on them a few months ago, so alas here I am. Making it. Again.

We are excluding Pilot because I believe that they are the same age as season 1.

SEASON 1:

In order for this to make sense, the Ninja must have begun in their early/mid-teens, then later became older, except for Lloyd, who started as a child.

I've seen many headcanons of Jay and Kai being the same age, I'd have to agree, it does make a lot of sense.

Zane I'd say, from what he's aware - he'd be one year older, while Cole - who was the leader when Lloyd wasn't around - is the eldest, standing 2 years ahead of Kai and Jay.

Nya would be one year younger than Kai, but with how enamored Jay was with her, I'd say the maturity difference wasn't as huge - unless Jay is a creep at heart. I will admit - some things Jay has done or acted like, were kinda creepy, but not the kind of 'I go after people who are obviously far younger than me.' And I think we can all agree that Kai would kill Jay if that were the case.

So I'd say the answer is pretty simple.

SEASON 2:

Obviously, this is still within the same timeline, maybe a few days after season 1 finished - so I'd say they remain the same. Except for Lloyd, who once gets hit with the tea - is much older physically, but mentally remains 7, just becomes much more mature, unfortunately. I'd like to think that Nya and Lloyd first gave off older sister, younger brother vibes, but now gives off twin terror vibes, so Lloyd would physically be the same age as Nya.

SEASON 3:

I'd say this takes another year later, the first few seasons appearN to have lots of gaps between them, but then the newer ones tend to happen quicker together in my opinion.

And with PIXAL starting to make quite the appearence after rebooted, I must say, she should be included too, I'd say her body is very young, but mentally shes about the same age as cole. She doesnt have a body at the moment, so until she does, theres no body age.

So I'm rewatching digimon adventure and I'm on the second season where tk acts very different at different times, and Cody says "It's like TK is more than one person" or something along the lines of that.

I mean it makes sense, he has a lot of trauma and nightmares, the trauma was early on in his childhood, between the 4 villains, to losing his brother after tai and agumon got sucked back to their world, and almost dying multiple times, he's bound to have a lot of trauma.

Today's a good day to be a regulus black kinnie bc that means I'm good at hiding my feelings and I'm being forced into reunification therapy with my bio dad and I see him for the first time in almost a year today so proud regulus black kinnie moment 😛

Regulus Black is for the people who look up to their older siblings, just to be let down over and over again. He’s for the ones who show no emotion because they grew up being told that emotion was a sign of weakness. He’s for the people who shrink back in silence, but once they find their people their the most talkative person ever. Regulus is for the ones who have taught themselves how to cry silently and who don’t trust anyone anymore. Regulus black is for people who hate people, but have a soft spot for one person.

So we all know Sirius and regulus is dynamic works and I tend to find it quite funny because my brother and I have a similar dynamic. Although we don't have something like hen being sorted into Gryffindor and me in Slytherin, she pretty much ran away from home and lived withmy grandmother for a while. Basically abandoning me to the wolves AKA our parents. Now that's not even the main reason why this Dynamic came to mind, he usually takes the blame for situation so I don't get in trouble and he is very dramatic. Now don't get me wrong, I'm very dramatic too, just only what I want to be.

For an example, my brother has caught covid, and he feels like absolute dog water and he expresses that and that's valid. However this is where me pretty much being regulus comes to play, I feel terrible myself but I don't seek for help or anything just like regulus probably did. In fact we all know regulus did that. Even he himself has called me regulus Arcturus black. And in other situations he will be like sirius, and one small minor inconvenience ruins his entire day or he'll do the basic Sirius Black Style of pranks and acting like a true Gryffindor ( and yet my mom's convinced he's a Ravenclaw I think he's a Gryffindor) Slytherin myself and I do like being dramatic it just depends on the situation and how smart it would be in the moment to be dramatic. See? pretty much Sirius and regulus black, in my opinion that is.

I have a huge ass wall covered in photos of the marauders and golden trio era, I try over dead gay wizards (yes Fred and Cedric fall into that category you can't change my mind) I physically cannot read angst without a happy ending because my therapist told me not to, I'm looking at jegulus edits until 6 in the morning and wake up at 12 to look at more. I have slutherin pride all over my room and I have multiple 'anything for our moony's hanging around my room, I read and watch Harry Potter like it's a religion and binge watch fan films.
