I get it if you're heartbroken that you can't marry King Alistair, but the amount of people I have seen blaming Alistair for dumping them after they pushed him into a position he never asked for or wanted makes my blood boil. You made this bed, motherfuckers, now sleep alone in it.

That's only half the truth, because if you do her personal quest and tell her her that she clearly enjoys being a bard, she will admit that the chantry bored her and that she was just running. She'll admit that she enjoys being a spy and an assassin and that she is happy she left the cloister because she was always thinking about how she was just lying to herself.

I think the real crime is having Leliana in a game and not letting her tell stories and sing, I miss my favorite exposition fairy.

thinking about how leliana in origins is talking about how she never wants to be someone who enjoys manipulating people with ease and ruining their lives or taking others lives for no reason. she doesnt want to be someone who lives off grudges and doesnt care about individual's lives. how she never really wanted to leave the cloister, she just wanted to serve her god as best she saw fit. and then in inquisition you meet her again and regardless of what happened to her in the past she has become everything she never wanted to be all in the name of a god that never speaks back

I think it’s important to have villains who are both nice and human.

Especially nice. Polite. Empathetic. Thoughtful.

Because none of those traits translate directly to good. And a lot of them are easy shields against the description ‘bad’.

Opposite of "came back wrong" is "stayed exactly the same." Oh you want so badly to pretend that you have changed. You changed your face, you changed your name, you started leaning into a whole new role, but I know you. I know you. I know who you used to be, and I can see that person shining through you still. You can fool the world you can fool your friends you can fool yourself but you will not fool me.

ballet is so funny bc they will be like ”oh the ballerina is retiring… this is her farewell before she goes off to greener pastures to spend the rest of her days… she has worked a long career and has earned her rest…” and she will be like 31 and opera is so funny bc they will be like ”hes a promising young bass!!! just starting out all wide eyed and bushy tailed!! we’re excited to see where his career will go” and he will be like 47
