I don’t think I can do this anymore. “This” as in life.

Basically my mum is a self-centred, full of herself, can’t own up to anything little bitch and so basically for the longest time she’s been driving me up the wall.

Today my dad came over (parents are divorced) and so we can all talk about rising tensions between all of us because our mum was accusing us of “slagging her off” whatever that means to our dad (when the two of them basically tell us everything and when we’re feeling emotionally vulnerable).

Anyway everything spiralled into eventually what it always does to me being blamed for everything and me having a panic attack. Mum’s getting mad at me in the panic attack and dad’s hugging me and she said “maybe we should get you therapy or help in case you have depression”

LIKE OH MY FUCKING GOD- *exploding sounds* no fucking shit!!!! I’ve tried so many times to get help but they always shut me down.

Like this one time about a month ago my mum brought up the time i was raped by my ex in an argument saying she doesn’t trust me or something…. And i said “mum you always bring up my past trauma during arguments when we say to draw a line” only for her to explode at me again. And I nearly took my life after that because i was already fragile and she doesn’t fucking care. Anyway she told me my sh scars were fake (like wdym how can they be fake what they literally litter my arm what) further solidifying my point.

I can’t talk to her. I can’t. Even tho she said in the argument to talk to her… how can i? When she hurts me? Anyway she’s refusing to talk to me now and said “we’re going shopping” only for her boyfriend (abusive btw) to turn up. I need my headphones to go out for longer drives because of sensory issues and because originally she said about the shopping (only a five ten minute drive) but when i asked “are we going shopping” she said no and that we’re going on an 2 hour long drive to the next city. Like fuck you. Fuck you. Now i’m in his rickety van at the back about to be sick.

I have no one. I’m trying my hardest to survive and to do my best to please everyone else but it isn’t working. Pointless exercise.

One of the most dangerous things in the world is not being able to say no to people because you don't want to upset them or dissapoint them. This will completely ruin your life in every way possible, at work, in your private life, your sex life and your friendships. It's a way of removing your own consent in your own decisions and go against your wishes, it is always a crime against yourself. Let yourself have a say. Upsetting people is better than traumatizing yourself.
