general guidelines

obviously, no bigotry, no racism, no being anti-queer, etc.

joining the discord server is your safest bet for the fastest updates and you have access to mods 24/7 depending on timezones!

no ai allowed at all.

check-ins are by default opted in, but they aren't compulsory bc projects/work can suddenly come up, so just dm a mod saying you'll be skipping them and you'll be okay! not messaging = a strike, and you'll be removed after 2 strikes.

mod applications

There must be a minimum of 2 writer and artist mods. 

Since this is more casual, mods will overall share duties, including design and compiling. 

Mods are free to introduce new rules as and when needed, however, they must inform the other mods in the mods-only channel. 

writer applications

Writers must submit 1-2 pieces of fic between 700-2000 words each. 

no x readers or yume/ oc ships should be featured, though if you're involving yuu in this from a non-romantic angle, that is completely fine!

While the check-ins are optional, please note that by default, you are expected to check-in so that the mods are aware of your work. 

Check-in expectations:

Check-in #1: 200-300 words minimum, no max limit

Check-in #2: 600-800 words minimum, no max limit

Check-in #3: 1000-1200 words minimum, no max limit (does not apply if your fic is 700-800 words long).

If you’ve finished, please submit your work in the final submissions channel. 

artist applications

Artists must submit 1-2 pieces of art in these px only: 

A4 portrait: 2480 x 3508 px

A3 spread: 4960 x 3508 px

While the check-ins are optional, please note that by default, you are expected to check-in so that the mods are aware of your work. 

Check-in expectations:

Check-in #1: basic sketch, a little bit of lineart

Check-in #2: some colours and shading

Check-in #3: more shading and some rendering

merch creator applications

Merch creators are expected to create any number of, but a minimum of 1 set (3/6/9/12, etc. for the savanaclaw bois) of any of the following + any extra ideas they have! 

Merch artists are encouraged to check-in regularly, so that the mods are aware of the work being done. 

digital photocards that people can print out at home if they have a printer

discord emotes pack (about 30 emotes)

widgets pack (one for each character and/or for the dorm)

phone and desktop wallpapers (can be part of the widget pack, can be separate)

digital postcards (if they fit with the fics that would be so cool)

recipe cards from their hometowns

a bunch of 4koma bookmarks that reference collabs or themes seen in the volume.
