Hey everyone!

I know I haven’t been uploading stuff recently and I apologize. Summer time seems to take all of the will to work with BJDs out of me for some reason? I’m hoping to start taking some photos once it cools off (because there’s no way I’m exposing resin to 90+ heat).

For now, though, I’ve begun to try my hand at digital painting using my BJDs as references! The top one is most recent, while the bottom is the first one I did.

I haven’t taken pictures of Cas in a while. I told myself for the new year I wasn’t going to take as many photos of him... and, well - so far it’s gone great! :D

But I couldn’t keep resisting, man... Look at his cute face!

We’ve had this Little Monica Angel head since it was first released. Originally it was intended to be a super masculine guy... but in the end we learned that such a thing wasn’t exactly our style. For a while it just kind of... sat there, unused and unloved. But, recently, I decided to get in some face-up practice (after, like... 4 months?) and did them up in a softer looking style.

After playing around with them... I think they’re so cute! I don’t have a character yet or really know anything about what kind they might be... but I’m definitely liking this look a lot more!

We've had this #littlemonica head for ages, but I've never really bonded with them... since I want to do Indy's face up soon, I wanted to get some practice in! So I figured I'd test out a look on this lil' guy to see if I can get a fresh look at him... It's hard to tell in this lighting but this is the difference between Indy's old color and after the dye! The hand is the new one and the elbow joint is his older one. I also included a picture of him strung together (thanks to the help of my spouse!) and I have to say... he turned out pretty even! :D #bjd #balljointeddoll #bjddiy #bjdcraft

We dyed Indy!!! 😍😍😍😍 Thanks to my spouses help we double teamed the job and got his baby all dyed and looking far more like himself! As far as we can tell it all turned out great, but we'll have to see once he's all dry and we can put him together. 💜 #bjd #balljointeddoll #bjddiy #bjdproject
