Hey! I understand that many are incredibly upset and scared about the way the election has gone (i too have cried over the dread and hopeless feeling), but i believe it's important to remember that

A) For every person who does not care, and who wants the worst to come for us, there are many more people out there who do care, and who will continue fighting for better even after this. It is important to stick together even now (especially now), and

B) Despite what's happening, there are ways to mitigate whatever damage comes of this, whenever that may be.

If you ARE monetarily able, there are plenty of places to help out. Gaza Soup Kitchen, Palestine Children's Relief Fund, GazaFunds, National Network of Abortion Funds, Transgender Law Center, The Bail Project, Planned Parenthood, NAACP, ACLU, Immigrant Advocacy Center, UNRWA, and A4TE, among many others. I also urge people to donate towards individuals asking for help on here as well.

If you are NOT able to help out monetarily (i understand), there are still ways to help some things. Clicks for Palestine, contact your officials, and simply just be outspoken. Post/reblog things relating to issues you care about, and if you are able, don't sit by and let things happen.

I also understand being tired. Fighting for basic things like rights is difficult and takes a lot of effort not all of us have/are able to expend. It's incredibly easy to get lost in the hopelessness, so do NOT feel bad if you aren't able to help in any way. Feeling bad and sitting in the despair is exactly what they want from you, do not let them take joy in your suffering.
