Everything to Know About “Flower’s Blood.”

Flower’s Blood is a story that started production around 2014-2015, and was posted on Wattpad under the username, OneWithTheStarss (that’s me haha). The story has been rewritten about 4-5 times due to inconsistency and later-learned experience in writing, and every older version had been taken down. Older versions were found and are back up on Wattpad, edited and with side notes that could potentially help with other people’s writing.The story idea started when I was just learning how to draw people back in 2014, and I just thought up of characters on the spot. Since then, they have been more developed along with the actual story plot. Here is all the information you will need in order to be familiar with Flower’s Blood if you are interested.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The timeline is set in the future; the year is up for interpretation but if you’d like an accurate idea, the year is around 2050. The population years ago was always stable, at 7.6 billion. Now after many years, overpopulation has taken place. The government has mostly given up on how to deal with the situation and for the most part, has let the population continue growing and let the situation go. Because of this, citizens around the world have taken matters into their own hands, and have thought of different ways to decrease the population. Terrorist groups have been formed and they go around, aimlessly killing any innocent person that crosses their path. The largest terrorist group is the Rose Thorns, and have caused the most problems.

Killing with weapons is too time consuming, and is making the situation harder to handle, so a drug is created. Dubbed the Zombie Drug, it’s an injection that could affect the human mind. It could kill a person or cause long term symptoms, the more common one being cannibalism. It isn’t contagious, but becomes widespread. The drug later come out in different forms; edibles, tablets, and pills. There is no cure however, so once you get injected or take the drug, there’s no turning back. However, this is where the story starts.

PLOT: The actual story is set in small town Hudson, Ohio, at the beginning of Fall. Of course the controversy has spread everywhere, so even small towns aren’t safe. The story focuses on 16-year-old Zealand Fallon, his brother, and his group of friends. They’re mostly well known in school due to the troubles they have with rival, Jackson Scott, and his three friends. The days usually go by the same, going to school, arguing with Jackson, going out, all typical stuff. However one day, a cure is discovered for the notorious drug, but it’s in the hands of an unknown small terrorist group, and it usually gets passed on so it’s harder to find. It soon ends up in Hudson. Due to an unfortunate event in Zealand’s life, he’s motivated to find this cure. He forms a group with his friends, hoping to become the first people to save the world from extreme destruction. 

NOTE: Reference sheets of these characters will soon be posted! Be patient, as they do take a while to make. These are just the personalities of the characters. Also I’ll answer questions from those ��Develop your OC” accounts because I can go on for ages about my characters haha. 

Zealand “Zee” Fallon: tries to stay open-minded with his friends and family. Doesn’t have trust in many people, but he has an easy time talking to people. He sees no reason to be rude unless someone else makes him feel otherwise. First glance, he’s pretty stern, but not demanding. He doesn’t involve himself in much unless it’s with his friends, but for the most part does nothing illegal.

Maverick Collins:  he has a big mouth and almost no filter. He’s a smart ass, a smooth talker and has a reputation to keep in check. He puts on a tough front, but he is actually nice, surprisingly has dignity and takes responsibility when needed. He also thinks he’s flirtatious, but comes off as a dork instead; his girlfriend finds it cute though. 

Damian Hathaway: a quick thinker, actually thinks before he speaks. He’s one of the smartest in Zealand’s group, but doesn’t flaunt it. He does his best to help his friends and family, but also can barely care for himself at times. He can get nervous about some things, and over thinks, but he does a pretty good job at hiding it; he doesn’t want anyone to worry about him. However for the most part, he’s very kind and outgoing. 

Fletcher “Fetch” Quinn: hot headed, never lets his guard down, and will constantly act however he chooses. He has serious anger issues and rarely attends his anger management classes; so he’s irresponsible. Because of this, he constantly gets into physical and verbal fights, not knowing how to control it. However, he knows how to crack a few jokes and mess around with friends and family, so he isn’t as bad as he may seem.

Finnick “Finn” Fallon: the complete opposite of his brother, he’s very shy and anxious. The smallest things can scare him easily, and he constantly over thinks every situation. Because of his timidness, he secretly carries around a switchblade. He’s smart, but obviously not as smart as Damian because of age difference; he’s 10. He’s also quick on his feet, physically and emotionally, as he tries to run away from some of his problems.

Jackson Scott: has an extremely high reputation in the school, he’s popular to many. He knows some members of Zealand’s group can be destructive, and knows how to push them to the edge; that’s what he finds amusing. He just likes to get in some fights for adrenaline, because how boring and simple his home life is. However surprisingly he’s not a dick with his family.

Ryker Ames: sort of a competitive jerk, he takes things too seriously sometimes. He’s very alert and constantly concentrated on whatever new goal or task comes his way. Though taking things too seriously, he’s pretty smug and is still fairly popular, considering he’s one of Jackson’s friends. 

Hunter Welsh: also popular, and has a high reputation. Looks like your typical buff football player, but he cares about his strength more than the sport. He knows how to be intimidating just by looking at someone, and knock someone out almost in seconds. He is short tempered, but it doesn’t affect him the same way it does with Fletcher.

Jake “Buffalo” Wild: nicknamed “Buffalo” due to being the best player on the wrestling team, he is not someone to be trifled with, even though he doesn’t look as tough as Hunter, not even close. He’s a big hype man, and is more of a mascot to the school than the actual official mascot. He likes to go big in school spirit and likes rough housing all the time. Because of his popularity, he also tries to be the jokester in any class. Though people sometimes find it annoying, they still know how to crack a grin at his insane personality. 

Nikita Wolf: a tougher personality than you’d expect, Nikita is no goody-two-shoes. Though she’s partially and outcast, she doesn’t care much about how she makes people feel, being brutally honest almost all the time. However, she doesn’t result to force first like her boyfriend, and still tries her best to seem like a decent human being. 

Harper Winslow:  has a sharp personality at first glance she absolutely trusts nobody, but as you get closer, she starts to lighten up; it doesn’t take much work though. She’s also very shy with her words around her boyfriend. She also has the most spotless record out of Zealand’s group. She tries her best not to be involved with much either.

Ugh I’m really trying to remember to post shit here as well as Instagram... here’s one of my characters from a story I’m trying to storyboard, Amy. The left is after she joins a resistance/ rebellion. Yeah I know it’s cornballs but cut me some slack bro 😓
