@onewingedxngel
I’ve moved here now! Since I have quite a few personals following me, I’ll make a few more of these kinds of posts so if they wanna come along, they can.
Also, shoutout to the personals? Thank you for liking my interpretation of the character enough to follow, it’s genuinely flattering. Granted, I’m assuming you like my interpretation (though I’m sure some just follow for the gifs, which is fine too).
Anyway, uh, this is sad. But necessary. RIP.

I’m considering maybe making a new blog, so instead of this being a sideblog to pacifistghost, I remake it as a main blog of its own...?
If I do, I won’t deactivate this one or anything, but I won’t exactly be active on it anymore.
Hmm, decisions, decisions...
#important#psa#mun#(ooc)#I'll start making a new blog just in case#and see how things go#sorry for any inconvenience if I do choose to move#it's just this blog has gotten more active than my ACTUAL main#and I've grown so passionate over Seph's character#so I think a new blog could make sense

FILL OUT THE STATS: repost, don’t reblog.
BASICS
FULL NAME: Sephiroth Hojo-Crescent
NICKNAME: The Silver SOLDIER, the One-Winged angel, the Silver Demise, Silver Demon of Wutai, The Man in the Black Cape
AGE: 27
BIRTHDAY: January 20th
NATIONALITY: None.
PLACE OF BIRTH: Nibelheim Mansion (that’s what the game implied, right?)
CURRENT LOCATION: Nomadic, he goes wherever he wants (though Pre-Nibel Seph tends to be located in the Shinra building unless he’s on a mission)
PRONOUNS: He/him
S-ORIENTATION: Pansexual...? Asexual...? I don’t know, either way, it’s stunted.
R-ORIENTATION: Panromantic
OCCUPATION: SOLDIER (Pre-Nibel), aspiring God (Post-Nibel). I guess you could say Redeemed!Seph is some kind of unconventional vigilante...? Like, he helps around and tries to take care of conflicts non-lethally.
RELIGION: None.
LANGUAGES: Whatever they speak in FFVII.
PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES
EYE COLOUR: Vivid green
HAIR COLOR: Silver
HEIGHT: 200cm, 6′7′’ (he tol)
BODY BUILD: Muscular, broad shoulders, the closest to physical perfection/efficiency that a humanoid body can get, you get the picture.
NOTABLE FEATURES: Stature, slit snake-like pupils, long silver hair, scars scattered across body (most notable is the HUGE one left from the Buster Sword), otherworldly and intimidating aura/appearance
PHOBIAS & DISEASES
FEARS: Death. Not like dying and going into the lifestream, but rather, death at the deepest level: the kind that leads to oblivion, to no trace of your existence being left behind. This is linked with the fear he feels regarding his purpose: he lashes out because he knows that, ultimately, he’s merely a weapon, born to be exploited: but he wants to be so much more.
DISEASES: Sephiroth is, physically, extremely healthy. Mentally, however, he deals with trauma and emotions in a very unhealthy manner.
PERSONALITY
GENERAL IMPRESSION: Most people’s first impressions of him are that of an extremely intimidating person, though this is not always intentional on his part. He can come across as reserved to the point of being cold, but this is more a result of his lack of social interaction/skills (thanks to being raised in labs) than it is due to him genuinely being unfriendly. Those who get to know him better will see that he’s a very deep thinker, and that behind icy walls is a surprisingly warm/soft core that, unfortunately, not everyone is able to recognise. He’s also confident and analytical.
After Nibelheim, Sephiroth becomes an extremely arrogant person, filled with bitter hatred upon the discovery of the truth. Although he is indeed dangerous, sadistic, and violent, these traits are borne from just how much agony and pain he’s in, deep down. He doesn’t want to fully confront his more vulnerable feelings, and thus, lashes out instead. Having fallen into the lifestream, his mind has ascended beyond any other living creature on Gaia, and he uses his superior knowledge to his advantage when it comes to realising his ambitions.
MORAL ALIGNMENT: Lawful neutral (Pre-Nibelheim), neutral evil (Post-Nibelheim), neutral good (Redeemed!Sephiroth)
MISC
LIKES: the cosmos, books, nature/animals (especially insects and invertebrates), history, sweet-tasting food (especially chocolate), spicy food, philosophical depth, physical contact (on his terms), the occasional sparr (has a love-hate relationship with fighting), causing pain/fear (Post-Nibel only, though Redeemed! has the potential to show slightly sadistic behaviour if dealing with someone he truly despises [such behaviour is something he tries to avoid]), Zack (pre-Nibel)
DISLIKES: humans, humanity, failure, arrogant people (ironic), Professor Hojo, Cloud and co, lemons (and various other foods, but lemons are the worst), the truth behind his creation, parties, bitter tastes, shallowness/superficiality, feeling vulnerable, those who blindly accept what they’re told, those who never question anything, being referred to as a hero, dishonesty

Tagging: @nibelheimraised @projecth-aileth @light-of-judgment @flamedance @ancientblxde and anyone else who wishes to do it!

projecth-aileth:
There was a change in the air and Aileth looked up at the being next to her. His whole demeanour shifted slightly; they hadn’t been together for long but she was figuring out how to read him. He wasn’t looking at her, didn’t even seem to be looking at all really, his eyes having a far off glean to them. She moved closer, entirely in his personal space, head tilting in concerned interest. Was he… in a memory? If he was it wasn’t a good one. She didn’t think about what she did next, simply acting on the thought as it occurred; reaching out her slipped her hand into his gloved one. Aileth just kept in step as they walked, facing forward like nothing had happened. His energy was calming, so maybe hers could be too just a little bit.
“Elmyra’s daughter…” there was a blank there, a feeling of alarm shot through her; she had hoped that being in the void hadn’t done anything but it had. The void had still managed to steal some memories, not completely it was only fuzzy but still, it was a bit of a shock. Elmyra had one, she knew that but… the face and name was missing… no she could do this, she just had to concentrate. She didn’t answer him right away, having to piece it back together from other memories. Vaguely recalling photos and pink dresses, fierce eyes and soft voice…
“Oh! That’s… the one with my face!” Ailthes shoulders relaxed slightly with relief, she’d managed to get it back. “… she says strange things.” she remembered Aerith, she was the one trying to convince her that she was a person- but Aileth knew better, knew she wasn’t human but the woman had been adamant and had been nice… until Elmyra took an interest in her, then she wasn’t nice anymore.
Aileth’s voice took on a similarly quiet tone to his. She was glad she fixed the memory that void had tried to take but there wasn’t anything to be glad about the people who had chased her away.
“Her companions? …they’re scary… especially the blond one.” She took her hand back and slowly lifted the side of her shirt to reveal a scar that had yet to fade. It was difficult to scar her; He had managed to but that was after years of cutting open her arms again and again on the same healing lines and at this point it seemed the thin strips of silver on her arms were there to stay.
But this one was the first she’d received from an attack; it was a long, starting below her hip and ended just above her navel. “It’s almost gone now.”
She’d run into him for the first time while she was still ill, she didn’t know where she was or why there was a human yelling; she’d hardly been able to even recognise that the shouting was addressing her before there was a blade deep in flesh and bone. There wasn’t much else to that particular memory, just pain and fear; there wasn’t even enough to know how she had gotten away, only that the elderly couple had found her soon after.
Aileth was ever curious... and it was rather endearing. She truly didn’t fully understand the weight of the world around them, nor of the terror Sephiroth had instilled in all who’d tread on its land. How she entwined her hand into his, so full of trust and confidence in him. Almost instinctively, he gripped it in a hold that was firm yet gentle. Even with her naivety, she could sense his turmoil, and did what she could to comfort him. He couldn’t help but smile, just slightly, at her behaviour.
“Yes, that’s her,” he said. No wonder the words of a Cetra may sound strange to one with so little experience like Aileth. But had Aerith realised Aileth’s origins too? Did she understand just what had happened for her to come into existence? If so... why had she left her to wonder alone? Had they been separated somehow, or... or were the ‘strange things’ she’d been saying related to Sephiroth’s nature, somehow?
“Blonde one...” he echoed, initially on the verge of getting lost in his thoughts again- Cloud was the one he’d tormented so much for the fact that he’d managed to somehow defeat him a few times- but... why did she call him ‘scary’...? Once his gaze wondered over towards Aileth again, he noticed marks in her flesh.
Instantly, his eyes widened, and his brow furrowed. Pupils thin as needles locked upon the sight with a deep, hidden rage. The large carving in his own side began to sting with a cold throb, teary blue eyes filled with hatred glaring into his own. Other, smaller scars formed by that same blade weilded by that same hand began to itch.
“He harmed you so?” Sephiroth’s voice was deceptively soft, for the first word seemed to carry some kind of venom within it. Sephiroth held sorrow in his heart regarding the way he’d treated Cloud, doing everything he could to frighten the blonde beyond the edge of his sanity, but... he could not help but notice the barrage of emotions swirling within when he heard of what the blonde had done.
Even Sephiroth, the one who almost devoured Gaia, had let go of his violent ways... it was tragically ironic that the so-labelled ‘hero’ still stuck to such a primitive path. Attacking that which he did not understand, successfully leaving a mark on a being as durable as Aileth... what if she had not been as powerful as she was? Would he have killed her? Taken her life for the crime of looking like him?
But, at the same time, a small part of Sephiroth’s mind began to whisper. You have no right to judge his actions, it murmured. For how many lives have you taken in your own anger? Cloud fears Aileth because he fears you. This is your fault, a product of your actions. You turned him into who he is now.
Sephiroth’s hold on Aileth’s hand tightened, just slightly- not enough to bring any harm, but enough to be noticable.
“If we ever come across him in our travels...” he spoke, turning his head to look Aileth in the eye.
“He will not lay a finger on you.”

Hiya everyone! SO, I’ve always said that I wouldn’t charge for art / graphics and that I’m too self conscious to but truth be told, I am really skint. Unfortunately for me, I’m a full-time student who can’t commit to the job I was once trained for because of an accident a couple years ago. My physical mobility is limited due to a shoulder injury (I’m due surgery soon but it prevents me from doing my old job entirely until then). :(
So, I figure why not open commissions! I wont lie, I’m primarily doing this *because* I need help right now but also it would be great practice.
My IMS are always open as is my askbox, I can otherwise be contacted on [email protected].
Please be detailed and concise when commissioning, I’ll ask questions anyway! Payment will be taken via Kofi or Paypal.
Even if you think my art looks like poop or you can’t afford / don’t need any art doing, reblogs and likes are massively appreciated! As said, I’m in a bit of a hole right now and could use all the rope I could get, ha-!
Many thanks, Han! x
P.s I’m open to drawing NSFW artwork; in terms of my limits all around, it’s primarily things I can’t draw. Please keep in mind when commissioning me that I’m not a professional. You commissioning me would be a wonderful act of charity haha. Oof. F in the chat, lads.

Okay, time to gather my thoughts.
The First SOLDIER disappointed me, but whatever. I’m interested to see what they’ll do with young President Shinra, and I hope they make him a bit more complex than hurr durr I bad greedy mako man, but I don’t have any expectations for them to add to any of the characters.
The Yuffie DLC looks pretty damn interesting, I’m excited to see her! Honestly, I’m not gonna lie, I have... mixed feelings on Weiss showing up. I love FF7, but I despise most of the compilation for its dodgy writing and maladaptive retcons (but that’s a WHOLE other argument I’ll gladly get into another day). I’ll be really happy if the Remake tweaks some of the issues and revamps certain characters to improve them, but if Weiss is coming... does that mean Genesis is inevitably going to show his face too? Oh lord, please, no. Considering the fact that CC isn’t canon to my Seph... you can probably all tell exactly how I feel about that game.
Eh, whatever, I’m in for the ride. Even if Genesis shows up. If it turns out bad, at least the memes will be endless. And if I’m the only one who ends up disliking it, I’ll make the memes myself.
If you can’t tell, I don’t have that much faith in the writers, I think they’re very hit or miss. But whatever direction they take, I hope they hit it.
Now... Ever Crisis. I’m excited for this, obviously because of the fact that it’s going to have a Sephiroth youth chapter. But I’m also quite worried.
I really don’t want them to legit play up the whole ‘Seph is a hero!’ thing straight, because he really wasn’t (and neither was Zack, hot take, I know). People keep on forgetting that SOLDIER is a military group, organised killers fighting for the mega-corporation sucking the world dry of its resources. In no way are they heroes. And Sephiroth most certainly wasn’t. It’s very screwed up to put that label on a living weapon trained to kill since they were a child.
I’d be happy with a subversion of this idea. All this praise of Sephiroth as a hero, contrasted as he walks through a field of bloody corpses with terror frozen in their eyes, a kid morphed into Shinra’s personal killing machine for the crime of being born an experiment.
And I really hope they go the route of him growing up in a lab. He was created to be used by Shinra, it wouldn’t make sense for him to grow up like most other kids. If they want to successfully indoctrinate him- which, to an extent, they clearly have- they’d have to raise him in a highly controlled environment. How else do you get a child to start taking down armies?
Hmph. Whatever. Square, please, I know you’re milking the franchise, but even so, please give us quality. REMAKE part 1 was genuinely great in my opinion- flawed, but still great and brimming with potential. So I’m hoping you’ll manage to do the same for these new releases. And, yes, I know Square is just the company and the games are a team effort between a whole bunch of people, but it’s easier to say ‘Square’ than list out everyone who worked on the game, ya feel me?
Some may call me critical... but leave me alone, I like analysing things and brain farting words all over a page! I have an opinion, and I like to say it too. OOPS.
#mun#(ooc)#ramblings#Oh no HelenE is being opinionated oh noooooooooo#run run RUN#okay seriously though#I'm cautiously excited

@spinbutton (why hello there 0.0)
Sephiroth stared down at the paw in what seemed to be nothing less than utter confusion. What... what was this being, exactly? He was certainly unable to identify his species. Well, the creature was definitely a mammal of some kind, but what mammal laid claim to such bizarre proportions and seemingly maladaptive evolutionary traits? Where was his neck? Why was his skull so big?
“Hmm... what might you be?” he murmured to himself, leaning down slightly to get a closer look at the creature. With a frown, he took the other’s hand in his own and shook it. Opposable thumbs, how curious.

oflockharted:
With her fist tightly curled against her chest, she stumbles upright in an attempt to gather her bearings. It wasn’t that she didn’t understand his inner turmoil, it was the visions she saw beyond those seafoam-green eyes. How easy it was for him to project those images into her head as if they were her own.
The scathing heat against her ribs slowly died down, eventually allowing her the freedom to stand upright proper. “…No. It’s not that.” Tifa says, still rubbing against the light pink scar tissue hidden underneath her tanktop. “I…I don’t know how to describe it. What you just did to me. What was that? Can everyone experience this?” Or was it just her?
Maybe she was going crazy. Or maybe Sephiroth had an influence over her she wasn’t aware of? It scared her beyond belief. And frankly, she hopes she’ll never see it again.
“Sephiroth…I understand that you’re hurting,” A hand presses against her chest as her eyes cast downward, “I definitely felt it. I even saw it. I…guess what I’m asking you is… why me? Why show…me?” Wouldn’t Cloud be his best bet? Sure, they had a very…questionable acquaintance, but Cloud would have likely known the meaning better than she.
Sephiroth furrowed his brow. He hadn’t done anything to Tifa, not intentionally at least... or had his mind reached out towards hers without his knowledge? Considering the extent of his powers, such a fact would not be a surprising one for him. Telepathy was something he’d misused before...
“Apologies,” he said quietly. It seemed certain habits were yet to ebb away, ingrained into his very subconsious mind to the point where he’d do them without thinking. Had this happened to a stranger, he would not have been particularly fussed- but for it to occur when faced with one of his victims felt oddly wrong, for lack of a better word. As he noticed the twinge of guilt, he dwelled upon it only momentarily: almost out of habit, he was about to suppress it away into the deepest depths of his heart... but, maybe, it would be better to let it stay for just a few more moments. There was a reason for it to be there, after all.
“I’m not entirely sure of the answer why,” he admitted. “Perhaps I didn’t wish for you to think of me as a mindless weapon.” (((the way my creators had))) “Or maybe I wanted you to see that my anger, my brutality was borne from...”
(((unbearable agony)))
“Hm,” he shook his head slowly. It was as though his thoughts were scattered across a yawning forest, lost and hidden amongst twisted branches and fallen leaves. Did he truly wish to find them, to show them to one of the very people who he’d damaged so terribly? Did he wish to show them to... anyone?
“I caused you much suffering, Tifa. And I must not run from the horrors I committed...”
#oflockharted#//Sephiroth#Redeemed!Sephiroth#//Tifa#rp#damn I'm excited for this#haven't written Seph being this solemn since... forever#ALSO since I couldn't explain in the RP itself (since Seph isn't currently reading Tifa's mind)#he's much more likely to face Tifa before Cloud#since she seems to be less outwardly aggressive#plus however much he won't admit it#he... kind of /does/ run from certain aspects of his past#even if he's seeking redemption he's still very flawed#and he wouldn't want to face Cloud until he himself feels ready#heck I'd say he'd even procrastinate on it#he explicitly gloated about killing Cloud's mom... I mean jesus christ#anyhow catch me screaming about how hard it is to find an icon where Seph is looking at least a /bit/ reflective#GOD I can't wait for Remake Part 2#need some icons of depressed Seph at Nibelheim

‘Things that are hard to hear’ asks
Sephiroth was silent. He stared at Aileth intently, none of the confusion he felt showing up on his expression. What was she speaking of? Had something occured while he was gone? It didn’t seem as though anything had happened: the only sign of something being off was the oddly grave expression the other held in her eyes.
“I fail to understand,” he spoke with quiet concern, standing right before her. “What happened, Aileth? Is everything all right?”

cultivatxr:
It wasn’t so much a question of yielding as it was outright defiance. Everything he’d fought against, denied and renounced was epitomised in the sanctity of the lifestream. It was hallowed ground, a sacred space that was so integral to her own faith, her own concept of spirituality and vehement belief. He had no place in a space he didn’t believe in. If he didn’t respect it, why was he even here? Why was the planet still determined to extent to him the same compassion he’d so often and unashamedly spurned?
It didn’t make sense to Aerith, although maybe she herself wasn’t in the most rational of minds upon seeing her killer; those cold and deadened eyes still boring holes into her soul with the same hollow apathy she’d expected of him in life. Instinctively her hand had raised to her chest, her palm flat against the point of prior impact as the old wound throbbed and ached. Pain was supposed to be irrelevant in here; yet she felt the bite of reality all the same. An echo to their shared history, the bitter reminder of mortality and sacrifice that seemed almost callous now in hindsight.
❝I’m more surprised she let you in. ❞ Worthier souls had been rejected for less, the sum of their lives weighed and balanced yet invariably found wanting. To what standard did the planet hold them to account? What criteria had Sephiroth met that so many others had not? It didn’t make sense. None of it made sense. But maybe that was the problem. His very presence in her eternal sanctuary was seeing it unravel, peace cast asunder and shattering like glass under a booted heel. How was it that the very fabric of her reality could so easily bend to another? Least of all the likes of him?
❝Why are you here, if not to yield?❞
Let him in? Did the planet really have a choice in where he ended up? Sephiroth certainly didn’t think so. Though, if it did... was it allowing him to keep his individuality? Or was he truly so powerful that it was helpless in absorbing him into its core? Either way, his next steps would have to be careful... cautious. He could not risk failure for a third time.
He huffed at her; she was no fool. She’d know that he would never yield to the planet’s will, nor to the lifestream. Surely, Aerith had seen what Cloud had done to him? Of course she had, for the remnants had now returned from whence they came, and the world had been cured of the dark curse that had been the Geostigma.
He was here, because he had nowhere else to go... for now.
Silently, he crept closer, broad wing held slightly outstretched. Eyes glanced at the small hand held over the fatal wound he had carved into her flesh, a beautiful reminder of his devastatingly efficient skill in taking life. Was she frightened? He could not smell fear here, nor could he listen for the sound of a racing heart. But, surely... there was no chance that she didn’t experience some form of terror when confronted by the Silver Demise. Ah, if only he could still relish it.
“I may just ask the same of you,” he smiled, though he believed he already knew the answer. He looked down at her with enigmatic, striking eyes, closely watching every her every move and twitch.
“Why do you seek me out? Are you not afraid?”

Sephiroth really likes to hammer in the fact that Cloud is ‘just a puppet’ in the OG. Calling him nothing more than a clone, a failed experiment, saying ‘how can there be any meaning in the memory of such a being?’ when Cloud recalls how he felt at Nibelheim.
SOUNDS LIKE PROJECTION TO ME.
No, but seriously. The blatant disregard of his worth as a living being. The fact that he looks down on him. The constant reminder of him being nothing more than a puppet.
Yeah, that is some SERIOUS projection.
Sephiroth was a failed experiment too, since he never showed any abilities that the Cetra held. Seph was also Shinra’s puppet, nothing more, nothing less: just something to be used. When he says ‘how can there be any meaning in the memory of such a being’, I get the impression that he secretly viewed himself as worthless when he discovered the truth, because he realised: ‘My entire existence revolves around the arrogant whims of human beings’.
Maybe it’s just me, but I think some of the harsh words Sephiroth throws at Cloud reflect how he feels/felt about himself, at least partially. Fits with the whole ‘fate- monstrous and empty’ line from One-Winged Angel too.

light-of-judgment:
A sharp, barking laugh escapes his lips. He takes a step back, his petite frame shaking as the laughter seems to take him over, making him wrap his arms around himself as he kept laughing and laughing, so loud and painful in tone that it seemed as though his voice might give out.
Was this strange man even human?
“Comprehend you? Hardly. You are but a mortal. A powerful one, but a mortal nonetheless.” And now they were circling again, matching each other’s steps and gaze in intensity. He wasn’t intimidated by this man. If anything, he was happy to prove just who the predator here was.
“I should come to your world, disrespect your home, and demand answers of your Gods.” His sneer was wide as he said those words with a biting tone, sharp teeth bared and his eyes holding a manic, inhuman gaze. That would give Sephiroth part of the answer he sought.
“What is it you are searching for?”
Sephiroth’s eyes narrowed in anger at the clown’s yapping laughter. What was it that the fool found so funny? In the face of such disrespect, Sephiroth began to wonder... would this pest still cackle so ecsatitcally were he to have the Masamune thrust into his stomach? Well... however entertaining the one-winged angel found his thoughts to be, he decided it better to keep it in the confines of his mind- for now.
Oh, he was no mortal. He had already cheated death multiple times, leapt from one reality into another, even manipulated his most hated fiends into battling fate itself, destroying the one thing that bound him to his defeat. What mortal could say they had succeeded in such feats? To call him a mere mortal, to underestimate his power, it was nothing more than one of the most dire of mistakes that one could ever make.
“None stand above me,” he sneered. The insanity in the other’s eyes was unlike any he had ever seen before, daring and reckless, and although this aroused his curiousity... he knew better than to provoke something he was yet to understand, unlike the one standing before him. Fortunately... Sephiroth was patient with such fools, if they held an unknown power.
“I search for many things,” purred Sephiroth. “Some of those things I already hold within my hands. My ascension shall be inevitable. But you... intrigue me.”
