There would never be a moment where Regulus would spare himself a moment to process or open up to his true sexuality because of the internalized homophobia his parents instilled in him at an early age.

Barty Crouch Junior never got to see Evan in the afterlife because his soul was fed on by the Dementors.

Walburga would never know that in the end, both of her sons had betrayed her.

Marlene would always regret that she hadn’t gotten the chance to be genuinely close to James— it’s not that she didn’t want to, but they’ve just never found the right connection.

Pandora had to lose her brother, but Barty was forced to watch helplessly as he lost his soulmate.

Mary could not remember the face of her beloved Lily, but had always liked planting lily flowers in her back garden.

Regulus Black’s Amortentia smelled like dark chocolate and cigarettes.

Regulus has a faded scar on his forearm from when Remus accidentally scratched him during one of his transformations.

Remus can never forgive himself for hurting Regulus. He can't even bring himself to look at the scar without going back to that moment and envisioning Regulus' face contorting in unimaginable pain.

It feels as if Remus is getting his heart ripped out whenever he thinks about it. He would punish himself everyday for his actions, even if it was just an accident.

Regulus then receives the Dark Mark exactly where his scar once was.

Remus' heart is shattered.
