  Betty had been late for a very important dinner that Alice had made, some news or something of the sort. At this point Polly doubted they’d ever find out considering no one could find the younger Cooper. Her lips twisted up in a small but seemingly concerned smile. “I’m sure you’re right -- she just lost track of time and is perfectly fine.” Even she didn’t convince herself she believed that, even if she were fine now there was no telling when Alice got a hold of her.

REBLOG IF YOU ARE OKAY WITH JUMPING AROUND IN THREADS/PLOTS. sometimes it can take ages to get from point a to point b and half the fun is the journey. but sometimes it fun to explore different aspects of a plot. flashfowards, flashbacks, parts of the plot you have discussed but haven’t reached yet. It’s so fun to explore every part of a plot and have multiple threads in different places in a plot. Or sometimes different memes you sent/receive may not fit the point in the plot you are at right now, but fit a flashback or flashfoward. So reblog if you are okay with having different threads in different points in the plot.

here is something i haven’t seen people talk about.

RESPECTING YOUR DUPLICATES

no one is forcing you to interact with them, or follow them or even look at them. there is a blacklist for a reason if you don’t want to see them around. but people need to get rid of the idea that THEY own the character, and no one else can play as them. get rid of that mentality that no one else is allowed to have that muse that YOU DIDN’T CREATE, and that anyone who has that muse should be chased away because they aren’t you. that makes you an asshole quite honestly.

unless it’s your OWN ORIGINAL CHARACTER, you cannot tell people not to write a muse. it’s okay to be uncomfortable with duplicates, i think we all get a little anxious or nervous about them, but it is NOT okay to try and chase them all out. vagueing about them, sending them hate and telling them they’re not good at what they do? that’s fucked up. so stop. you do not own that canon character you’re playing and you should stop trying to chase them all away and acting like you’re the best of the best. everyone brings something to the table.

so just. the moral of the message is RESPECT THAT DUPLICATES EXIST AND QUIT TRYING TO CHASE THEM AWAY BECAUSE YOU THINK YOU SHOULD BE THE ONLY ONE.
