This is a reality for my friend, Randa (@rnd8). She is a Sudanese living in Rwanda and she is in the process of evacuating 6 family members out of Sudan. Thankfully, her elderly father and her 3 sisters have successfully evacuated and reunited with her. Unfortunately, her 2 brothers are left behind in Khartoum!

With Half-Life being talked about again, I do want to reiterate that Gordon Freeman went to work at one morning and; aside from being knocked unconscious and put into stasis a few times; went without sleep for the next six consectutive days

it bothers me that you often don't really hear about people having a "favorite album" the way they might have a favorite movie or favorite video game

Need advice if anyone can help.

I'm about to quit my job. I don't want to get into the details (though if you want to know, I can DM you and explain privately), but my boundaries aren't being respected, advocating for myself is being ignored, and I'm frankly feeling disrespected and used. I have tried and tried to find something else because I don't want to quit my job without having one lined up, but at this point, enough is enough. My mental and physical health are both suffering because of this. The environment is toxic, my boss is toxic, and my supervisor, although I love her and think she's nice, is useless and can't really do anything about this.

So what should I do? I do have enough money saved back that I would probably be okay for a couple of weeks. I just do not want to get up every morning and go to this job. My stomach constantly hurts, I'm exhausted when I get home, and the thought of going to work the next day makes me want to cry.

I just don't know what to do. Any advice or support is appreciated.
