lacey:
While Lacey had her fair share of partners in the past, she was sure that none of them had ever managed to make her feel the way Dax did. It was as though he paid much more attention to giving her the pleasure she wanted and needed than anyone else which was something she wasn’t entirely used to yet. It surprised her every time he used his mouth or his hands on her to stimulate her further and she was sure she’d never really grow used to that. Then again, Lacey didn’t want to get used to it because there was something incredibly attractive about it. Today, he managed to surprise her with this dominant side of him which she truly hoped she would get to see more often.
The deep groan that came from Dax as she stood up brought a smile to her lips. Knowing that she had this sort of effect on him to elicit such sounds turned her on enough as it was but his reaction to her words would have had the power to bring her to her feet right there and then. Her head fell back against his shoulder when his teeth came down on the flesh of her neck and she couldn’t help the lustful whimper that left her mouth. The whimper was quickly replaced by a loud moan at the feeling of his fingers coming down on her folds. She lifted her head at that to look at him again, wanting him to see the reactions to his touches on her face. The sensations were almost too much to handle now. Lacey was sure that her legs would give in sooner or later since she could feel them shake beneath her. Her fingers clenched to the skin of Daxton’s back in an attempt not to let her legs give in. “Harder… harder, daddy,” she managed to moan out just before he picked up his pace. It was now she needed more than just his skin to stabilize her. Removing her hands, Lacey bend over his desk again, her fists clenching at the sides so hard her knuckles went wide. With her legs shaking and his name leaving her mouth in a scream, her orgasm washed over her.
Dax’s mouth continued to explore the delicate flesh of her neck, teeth still nipping as they were encouraged by the sensual moans that left her lips each time he hit her sweet spot. By now his thrusts didn’t ease up and he continued to ram inside of her as she leaned back into him. His fingers digging into the skin of her hips each time she tightened around him and arched against him. It was then Lacey turned around and he was able to see her pleasure-filled features and he peered down at her curiously as their gazes met. Her emerald green eyes were so close to his own for a moment Dax swore he got lost in them until she spoke calling him ‘daddy’ once more which made him react harder. If that wasn’t the sexiest thing he’d heard from her mouth, he didn’t know what was. Lacey still continued to submit to him and it was then she moved to rest her hands on the desk as he continued to pound inside of her. One final thrust and he felt her orgasm wash over her and Dax let out a deep growl as she clenched around his cock harder. “Fuck.” He managed to groan out.
Dax didn’t ease up, however, still holding her in place as he thrust inside of her a few more times before his own orgasm washed over him. The male was breathing rather harshly as he leaned over Lacey, his hands still holding her to him as they caught their breath. Once more, his mind filled with the euphoria of the intense orgasm he just had. A few moments later, the young tycoon turned her around and kissed her deeply gently lifting her without break it and placing her on the desk on her before he wedged himself between her legs. “Ready for round two?” He murmured as his hands stroked up her thighs. As his cock pressed against her leg he could already start to feel it harden once more. Stunned at even after having such an earth-shattering orgasm his body still wanted more and he hoped Lacey was in the same boat as him.

elliot:
Elliot couldn’t hold back a soft laugh at her guess that she wasn’t the first woman he had rescued from creepy drunk men. She was right with that but it wasn’t because he hoped to gain something from that. He only did that because he couldn’t stand the thought of something bad happening and him not preventing it. Maybe it was because of how protective he was over his sister and that this had slowly become a proper part of his personality. Bringing up a hand to the back of his neck, he rubbed it in a somewhat embarrassed manner. “You’re right. I think it’s because I got a little sister and know how many times she was in that situation. There’s just something about drunk men hitting on women and not leaving them alone that bothers me a lot,” he confessed. Elliot didn’t know why he felt like he needed to explain himself. Did she even expect him to explain himself? Maybe he was just overthinking this whole situation.
Truth be told, Elliot didn’t really want to take her to his friends. He had even hoped she would decline his offer so he could suggest enjoying their drinks together instead. He knew that his friends would only end up asking countless questions or make her uncomfortable and that was the last thing he wanted. At her doubts, he shot her genuine smile and nodded his head. “I’m completely sure,” he told her, the look in his eyes letting her know that he truly was entirely serious about this. “They can spend a few minutes by themselves, don’t worry. In fact, they’re probably happy about seeing me talking to a woman.” The last part of his words slipped out of his mouth which caused him to silently curse himself for not thinking before he spoke. “I mean… It’s just… Been a while since they saw me talk to someone,” he explained, a little embarrassed.
Payal had been teasing when she remarked him saving women from drunk men but when he did conform her words, her smiled widened slightly. More so, when she saw a rather sheepish but adorable look appear on his features that momentarily left her stunned. It was becoming a bit difficult not to stare at this man and not because he was pleasing to the eye but because the more she stood continued to speak to him the more she felt herself gravitate towards him. It was unsettling because she hardly knew the man and while she was liking what she’d seen of him thus far, it was so unlike her to be this attracted to someone over a brief meeting. It then was her turn to chuckle as she met his gaze, “That perhaps has to be the sweetest thing I have ever heard. Your sister is lucky to have you as her brother.” She murmured to him, “If only there were more men like you.” She told him frankly, “I can safely say, I won’t forget your help for the rest of my life.”
Payal was beyond relief when he changed his mind and offered to hang out with just the two of them, while she was sure his friends we’re as nice as he was she was still a bit nervous sitting around with him. Namely, because while she wanted to get to know Elliot, it was still strange for her to be sitting amongst his friends as she were someone he’d known for longer than just fifteen minutes. Just when she thought he couldn’t get any more adorable or embarrassed Elliot came at it again, and this time Payal couldn’t hide the grin curving her lips. What was it about this man that had her smiling so much? He was a movie star and stars like him didn’t care to interact with the general public but Elliot was quickly becoming an exception to all the rules. It was then he met her gaze and Payal held it because it was hard to look away anytime he did that and she could see his sincerity in the offer. “Hmm, so you’re not a Casanova then? Good to know, Elliot.” She teased but she couldn’t deny his words had pleased her. “I don’t blame you, you probably deal with thousands of people a day. It can get overwhelming, I imagine.”
“Shall we move over there?” The brunette gestured towards the empty section of the bar and waited until Elliot gave his approval and Payal fell into step beside him as they made their over. However, she waited until they were seated to speak up again using the brief walk to gather her thoughts. There were many things she wanted to ask him but she knew what she could ask that would be deemed appropriate as opposed to the others. Her gaze found his once more, and she placed her hands on the table in front of her before speaking. Even from the angle they were seated in she could still see his friends watching them with barely disguised interest which in turn only made her curiosity grow of his earlier comment. “Tell me a bit about yourself. When you’re not rescuing women, what do you like to do?” Genuine curiosity in her voice and her expression as she sat across from him. “Oh, I’m sorry, excuse my manners. I’m Payal.” She then extended her had to him hesitantly not sure if it was the right protocol but she figured it wouldn’t hurt either.

jasper:
Every time Jasper went out with Clara, he couldn’t hide that it cheered him up. He wasn’t sure if it was her or just being able to get out of the house and see something else for once. Either way, he was grateful for the change of scenery as well as the fact that she had dragged him here despite his complaints or the look on his face that made it look like he wasn’t in the mood at all. He couldn’t hold back a laugh at her calling this a date, shaking his head in disbelief, although there was a part of him that wondered what it’d be like if this was actually a proper date instead of them going out together as friends. Then again, Jasper never allowed himself to think of her in that way. She was his best friend and he wasn’t going to ruin that by letting any feelings get in the way, especially since she deserved much more and much better than him.
Jasper watched as she walked to the bar, a frown coming onto his face as he saw a man approach her. It never took long for that to happen but judging by the look on Clara’s face, she definitely wasn’t happy about it. Immediately, Jasper tensed up, already readying himself for getting up and walking over. That was before she turned and waved at Jasper but all he did in return was throw the man a dark glare that was supposed to tell him he shouldn’t try any bullshit with Clara while he was there and watching.
When Jasper saw Clara turn and move away from the man and how he followed her, he clenched his jaw. It was situations like these that made his anger rise. He always felt like he had to keep an eye on Clara, like he had to keep her safe from things like that. He knew she was strong but when he was there, there was no chance he’d let anyone bother her.
Jasper was now on his way towards the bar. He stopped between Clara and the man, standing in front of her like he was shielding her from the man. “You got a problem, man?” He asked the man, his eyebrows raised. “She doesn’t want to talk to you so why don’t you keep on moving and leave her alone?”
Clara could only watch her best friend as appeared to be amused at her date jokes, though she did wonder how he would have responded if she had asked him out. But as quickly as that appeared it was as quickly she shook them off and instead chose to relish in the feeling of seeing her best friend in better spirits than she’d ever seen him in. God, his laugh was something she could watch and listen to all day. She realized that while he’d been annoyed and reluctant to get out of the house, he seemed to be enjoying himself a bit now the longer they sat and joked. The brunette could only hope it lasted a long time and it was also then she began to realize that maybe getting him out of the house more often would a step in the right direction.
Clara tried to hold back her annoyed sigh as the man who approached her refused to leave her alone as she waited for their drinks. Any other time, she admired men for their persistence and while Clara was by no means a beauty that attracted men often, the few times she did she wasn’t sure how she felt about it. In this moment, however, she was a fan because she’d come out to enjoy this time with her best friend and without interruptions but it appeared that luck was not on her side. When she waved over at Jasper she could already see the anger beginning to appear on his features when he realized what was going on. Still, she gave him a warning look that said there was no need to get worked up, she could handle men who didn’t know how to take a hint. Even as she was aware of Jasper’s overly protective nature and she could see the tension in his posture as he eyes her and the man beside her.
It surprised Clara momentarily when the man wouldn’t leave her alone even after she physically moved away from her. he continued to ramble on and on and suddenly Jasper appeared placing himself as a shield between her and the slightly tipsy male who wouldn’t leave her alone. Clara then gently placed her hand on his arm as if to calm him, after all the man hadn’t tried anything fun just yet. It was the other male spoke up in response to Jasper’s warning, “You’re the boyfriend? I don’t believe that, I’ve been watching you two for a while and looks to me your just friends. Why don’t you move out of the way, I’m just trying to get to know your friend better she can decide for herself.” Clara rolled her eyes, what part of she was not interested did he not understand when she told him the first time? Clara tugged Jasper’s arm, “Jasper, it’s okay let’s just go somewhere else.” The man than tried to peer over Jasper’s tall figure to get another look at the brunette who glared at him in response. “I wouldn’t test him, it’s not going to end well for you.” Clara warned and the man snorted, “All I’m asking is let me buy you one drink and to talk a little bit.” Now, Clara didn’t believe that all. “If he’s your boyfriend than prove it and I’ll leave.” She shot the man a look of utter disbelief.

madison:
Madison had to bite down on her tongue at his question to stop herself from throwing a snarky remark at him about the things that she found laughable about him. She didn’t want to ruin the friendly way in which they managed to treat each other by now, so she tried not to think about the different things that she found almost ridiculous about him. Instead, she simply shrugged her shoulders and gave him a smile she hoped would look somewhat mysterious. “I’m not going to share that. See it as a secret I don’t want to talk about,” she teased before she dismissed the topic by digging into her own food.
The way Grayson slowly sipped his wine brought a grin to Madison’s lips but she quickly looked away again, shaking her head in an amused manner. She knew how some people were about tasting every little nuance of the wine, yet she never quite understood it and always thought it looked funny at best. If Madison enjoyed a glass or two of wine, it was only because she wanted to calm her nerves or because she wanted to relax after a stressful day. It was never to actually taste the wine, except if she was at some event. She was in the middle of chewing her food when Grayson mentioned dumping ice water on her to wake her up. She looked at him with narrowed eyes, although it was all in good fun. Swallowing her food, she shook her head. “You would do that once and only once because after that, you’d be a dead man,” she warned him.
Madison was more than happy to hear that he liked the food she had chosen. There was a nervous part of her that feared their evening was off to a terrible start, all because she ordered food he wouldn’t like at all. It was another thing that calmed her nerves more and allowed her to relax. “Sure, we can eat there as often as you want.” His question about what she liked to do in her free time had her feeling a little uncomfortable. She knew that this question would come up at some point but she still wasn’t prepared for it. The truth was that Madison enjoyed coming home and not doing anything. It was the same when she had days off: She often stayed in her pajamas all day and lounged on her couch, watching one show after another. Now that Grayson wanted to know what she liked to do, she felt like those things weren’t really the type of things he expected nor wanted to hear. “Well, I uh… I like going out for coffee or to eat with friends,” she started slowly—it was more difficult than she imagined to come up with something that at least sounded like an interesting hobby.
“Clearly you aren’t aware of my persuasion skills, but one day, Madi.” He remarked in hopes that the nickname he gave her would annoy her, not that he really expected it to. Though Grayson was would be lying if he said he wasn’t the least bit curious to know what she was adamant on keeping this to herself but he supposed if he cared enough to know he could pull it out of her. He then took a few bits of his own food mostly because his hunger was winning right now and it wasn’t until he had a few bites did he slow down. Lifting his glass afterwards to sip his wine when he felt her eyes on him, however, when he did look up she looked away and it caused him to study the brunette over the rim of the glass. However, this wasn’t the first time he’d seen her eyes linger on him and he wondered what if was that her keep glancing at him. The blonde was flattered and he almost hoped her staring was due to the fact that she was attracted to him, her kiss was telling enough but it also appeared that she had forgotten about it entirely. It was safe to say, disappointment flashed through him as well as annoyance that here he was still thinking about it. Pushing his thoughts aside, he then gave her an amused look when she threatened his life. “Lighten up, it’s a joke. As if I’d do something that juvenile. Hmm, there are other ways I can wake you, so don’t you worry.” He told her rather cryptically but his gleaming blue eyes gave him away.
The CEO waited for Madison to respond to his inquiry, surprised to find himself curious to know her answer, and he knew better than anyone not to judge a book by its cover. When she revealed her rather simple hobbies, he wasn’t so surprised because to be honest she didn’t strike him as the type to be out at clubs or any overly populate areas. He could relate on that because he wasn’t much of a club person either, he preferred his quiet nights because he dealt with people all day so coming home and having time to himself was exactly he needed after a long day. When Grayson wasn’t at home he was taking a swim or jog around the park. Madison hesitated before she had answered and he wondered why she appeared so, really, it had been a simple question. “So, you’re a homebody too.” He commented sparing her another glance, by now he had finished eating but continued to take his time with the wine. “As I said, a goody-two shoes.” There was a hint of playfulness in his tone as he said the words. “What sort of foods do you like?”
As the two continue to sit and chat, Grayson catch himself looking her at for moments too long for this liking. He’d already known he was attracted to her in the physical sense but he hoped that after being reject it would erase any desire he had for her yet that had not been the case. Even though he had no intentions of making lewd or suggestive comments there was a part of him that hoped she’d invite him into her bed. Although, he was sure that was a long shot away. The two chatted for another hour so, finishing every bite of the food before Grayson stood up and began helping her clean up, and once they were done and were making their way towards the living area, he turned to her. “I’m beat and you look a little like it too. I’ll be up early catching up on some work so whenever your ready let me know and we can leave to go to work together.” With that he bid her goodnight and made his way towards his room, all while refrianing the urge to lean in and kiss her.

nathan:
Nathan didn’t know what it was about the things that Mahi asked him but, somehow, each of them surprised him. He had never thought about whether or not the rumors that people spread about him bothered him. He figured that he was used to it by now and that it didn’t bother him anymore—people would probably even be pleased if their rumors did bother him and pleasing people who didn’t deserve it was a thing Nathan didn’t enjoy. Now that he thought about it, however, a part of him did feel like he was somewhat annoyed by all of the lies that people told about him. It wasn’t because he had a problem with those things but more because some of the people he approached over the years were so influenced by those rumors that they didn’t even give him a chance to prove them wrong. Finally shrugging his shoulders, he shot Mahi a lopsided grin. “Maybe a little. But I guess I’m used to it by now,” Nathan told her, “What about you? Do the rumors bother you?” Nathan couldn’t hide the genuine interest in his features when he asked her that.
It was a nice change to be able to talk so openly about his parents and the way he grew up. What made it even nicer was knowing that Mahi went through almost the same things. She knew what this life was like, so there was no need to hide certain things or to try to make it sound less scary or horrible than it was. Still, Nathan wasn’t really expecting Mahira to share those things with him since she didn’t necessarily strike him as the kind of person to be open about such personal matters. It was the reason why he once again had to think about his response first—he simply wasn’t prepared for that. Nodding his head, he let a sigh escape. “Yeah, I understand that,” he said, a small smile on his lips, “I just think there’s no point in dwelling on wondering what things could’ve been like because I’ll never know. This is my life and after all those years, I’m used to it.” There was always a hint of bitterness that came with thinking about how his parents took his chance at a normal life away from him from day one or that they didn’t even give him a chance to decide for himself whether or not he wanted to be a part of all of this.
The waiter’s appearance gave Nathan a moment to distract himself from the deep conversation they shared. He was also incredibly happy about seeing the food in front of him because by now, Nathan was starving. He dug in almost immediately. “You definitely weren’t lying… I think this is the best burger I’ve ever had,” Nathan chuckled once he swallowed his first few bites. “I can’t believe I’ve never eaten here before.”
Mahira watched him ponder over her question and she hadn’t missed the look of surprise that crossed his features at her question. In her opinion, it wasn’t too intrusive of a question because it was simply something that everyone was a victim at point in their life. While yes, the Kapoors and the Morales were the hot topic of their society, the brunette could easily say they weren’t the only the two who were the talk of the town. Still, as she continued to watch Nathan she could see his hesitance and she wondered if he would be sincere in his answer or he’d brush it off as something that wasn’t a big deal. From what she had observed of her companion, he didn’t strike her as the type to care for such things either but his answer however did mildly surprise her, but then again, she wasn’t sure what she’d been expecting him. She gave him an amused like in response to the rather appealing grin he was giving her, “A little, but still they do bother you anyway. Why is that? I’ll be honest, you don’t strike me as the type to care what others think but I’m sensing I’m a bit wrong here...” When he asked her in return, Mahi shook her head, “No, they don’t. I don’t know those people so why should I let it affect me in anyway?” She then gave him a small smile, squeezed his knee slightly.
Mahi honestly hadn’t expected Nathan to be as open as he was, but she supposed since she initiated such a personal conversation he was returning the favor himself. It was a bit jarring to see whatever she had assumed was quickly becoming moot and she wasn’t sure if she was disappointed or pleased. Disappointment because it made it that much more difficult for her to keep herself in check and not be so open and pleased because it was also nice to speaking to someone who understood her life. Mahi was a hard person to crack many have tried and failed and here she was letting her enemy get a better glimpse of her than anyone else who really didn’t pose a threat to her. Nathan on the other hand was danger in every sense of the word, while he appeared as if he wasn’t, but she was not a fool and she certainly didn’t underestimate him even if he was making a terrible decision of entertaining Mahi. At Nathan’s response to her accidental confession, she nodded relieved he hadn’t decided to question her further on it not that she’d allow herself to share any more than what was required to win him over. “Wise words, Nathan. There is no point because despite the sacrifices we had to make, I don’t think either of us would give up our current lives.” She murmured sincerely, and it was the truth, would she leave it all behind? Probably not nor would her parents allow her to either so there was no point in dwelling.
Thankfully, Nathan appeared as eager as her to dig into his food because it was obvious the two had worked up quite the appetite dealing with the party and a long exhausting evening. She chuckled at his words, “Not a lot of people know of this place. I, on the other hand spend most of time finding the right food, so you’re welcome.” She teased playfully, giving him a small smirk. “I know plenty more places that will have you smiling as you are now with that burger. That is, if my company is pleasant enough for you to do this again.” Was it a blunt offer? Maybe, but Mahi was nothing if not confident. She then took a few quicker bites of her own food to satisfy her hunger before slowing down and taking her time. Instead, choosing to watch Nathan as he scarfed down his own. A moment later she caught something at the edge of his lips and very slowly she reached over wiping the sauce off the corner of his lips with her index finger before bringing it to her mouth and wiping her finger clean. “Hmm, I forgot how tasty that one is.” Her voice an octave lower as she kept her eyes on him the entire time, though her expression innocent once more.

valerie:
The blunt words Sabrina spoke caught Valerie off-guard. She didn’t really expect the girl to tell her these things as bluntly as she did but it was good to know that she could have this sort of effect on her. Truth be told, Sabrina had the exact same one on her, too. Right now, she wanted nothing more than to take her inside and explore her body with both her hands and mouth—just like she did when they spent their first night together. While Valerie had her fair share of one night stands in the past, none of them had left her as speechless as Sabrina did. The bad part about this was that Valerie had no clue what exactly it was about her that left her that way or that made thins feel so different. She couldn’t explain to herself why this woman left her this starstruck and why she couldn’t get her out of her head, although she prided herself in never catching feelings for anybody she spent time with.
When they went inside, Valerie’s initial plan was to grab Sabrina’s hand and drag her to her bedroom. Her plan was crossed, however, when the other pinned her against the wall instead, her mouth crashing down on hers. A soft gasp escaped Valerie at that but in the next moment, her hands came up to Sabrina’s face where they rested on either side of her cheeks. Valerie couldn’t help but notice just how perfect it felt to kiss her and how much she had missed the feeling of Sabrina’s hands resting on her body. Feeling Sabrina press herself against her elicited a quiet moan from Valerie who broke the kiss momentarily to smirk at the other. “I didn’t know you were this hungry for me. You could’ve just said so and it would’ve saved us a lot of trouble, you know?”
Sabrina smiled to herself as she saw the stunned look on Val’s face at her words. Normally, she was not this forward with anyone but something about the way this woman stared at her and made her feel had her confessing all sorts of things. It was right around this time Sabrina would panic at revealing too much because she was always told what an open book she was but for once she didn’t mind. Seeing the blunt desire in Val’s eyes give her that extra boost of confidence to say things Sabrina wouldn’t normally say especially not to someone as intimidating as Val. It still shocked her that out of all the gorgeous women that were at the bar, Val somehow had managed to find her and taking a liking to Sabrina. Now, Sabrina had her fair share of confidence but the kind that this woman had would even put her own to shame. But as time went on and Sabrina watched Val work with the sort passion she had herself, Sabrina couldn’t help but let her attraction move past that of a physical one and into something more.
Sabrina was sure that Val didn’t have those sorts of feelings her, or far as she could tell save for her physical attraction to her. Even then, Sabrina knew she’d take whatever Val was willing to give her and if sleeping together meant she’d have the opportunity to spend time with her than she was more than okay with that. The brunette smiled once more when she felt Val gasp against her lips, but then her hands came to cup Sabrina’s face and she leaned into her touch. As her lips moved against her companion’s, she felt herself closer as much was possible than they already were, while Sabrina’s own hand tangled in Val’s rich silky locks when she heard Val’s erotic moan. The kiss broke far too soon for her liking only to hear Val’s remark. “Says the woman who spent two months acting like she didn’t want me. Easier said than done, Val.” Flashing her an amused look before dropping another deep kiss and then pulling back slightly to whisper against her lips, “I want you so much. Tell me you want me just as badly.” Sabrina didn’t dare look up at her, “Bedroom.” She added a moment later, indicating for her to lead them to it.

lacey:
The words Dax whispered into her ear caused her fists to clench the sides of his desk tightly. He didn’t even know how badly she needed this and how attractive he was to her when he treated her this way. Sure, she liked how gentle the both could be with each other but this sort of talk and behavior had a different kind of appeal to her. Lacey was used to taking the lead or telling people what to do in every day situations, so being on the receiving side of this roughness was a nice change. She moaned as his hands came down on her ass and he squeezed it. Her mind quickly shifted to the feeling of his hands on her hips. Lacey braced herself for what was about to come, her teeth biting down on her bottom lip while he brought his cock in position. It took a great deal of self control not to move her hips back against him and have him slide inside of her that way but it wasn’t long before Dax did exactly that. “Fuck, yes,” Lacey moaned out. Her eyes fluttered shut but as soon as Dax rammed into her that tightly, she opened them widely in both pleasure and surprise. “Shit,” she managed to breathe out, turning her head to look at him over her shoulder. Seeing him behind her like that was definitely a sight she wanted to see more often.
The pleasure that spread inside of her was already too much to handle. Still, Lacey wasn’t willing to give in just yet. She wanted him to have his fun with her first, she didn’t care how long it was going to take. The sounds of her moans and the skin of her ass meeting his pelvis with each thrust filled his office and she was sure his secretary could hear exactly what was going on. It was a thought that somehow got her going even more, knowing that other people could hear how she let Dax use her like this and how he managed to make her feel this good within such a short time. It was still a mystery to her how a man she initially despised was the one who gave her the best sex she had ever experienced. Everything he did felt so different. Lacey often found herself thinking or fantasizing about the various ways they could have their fun together, getting him to fuck her this hard while she was bent over his desk was definitely one of those ways she had imagined before.
Each hard thrust elicited a moan from Lacey. Those moans turned louder the deeper he went and when Dax hit the right spot, she could help but scream out. It was a way to get relief from the tension that found its way to her stomach and that she usually would have gotten rid of by letting herself come. Today, however, it was completely Daxton’s treat. She didn’t do anything to herself because she wanted him to do all of those things so he could forget about the things that bothered him earlier. It was difficult to give up the lead like that and not to do anything herself but the way he fucked her helped take her mind off of that.
Only when Daxton spoke up about how he had imagined this many times, Lacey allowed herself to move. She stood up straight, one of her arms coming around the back of his neck and her back pressed against his body. This position allowed him to go even deeper and she couldn’t hold bite back another moan. Turning her head slightly, Lacey met his gaze. She tried to smile at him but the moans took over her features and it was impossible to do so. Instead, she caught his lips in a deep kiss, moaning against his mouth every now and then. When she broke the kiss, she leaned her forehead against his. “You’re telling me you thought about this before but you never invited me to do this? I’m offended,” Lacey managed to say, a hoarse chuckle following her words. Then, an idea crossed her mind and she whispered, “Fuck me harder, daddy.” As the words left her mouth, she watched him intently, wanting to see his reaction to the nickname she gave him.
Daxton smirked a bit to himself when he heard her moan rather loud at his quick entry inside of her, keeping her hips still in place he continued to move. Using Lacey’s sensual moans to guide his movements inside of her to elicit more of those sounds that were like music to his ears. Despite him keeping the woman locked in her positon, she looked over at him and he met her gaze. His features revealed the hunger he felt for her and just how he was enjoying her fucking her in this positon and more so he loved her having her at his mercy. There was something appealing about the way Lacey gave into him so easily, letting him dominate her as he pleased. He also suspected that she didn’t think Dax had this sort side to him, but then again, they hadn’t known each other long enough. There was something about catching her off guard that also appealed to the young tycoon.
Dax shut his eyes as he moved inside of her roughly, the force of his thrust causing the desk creak slightly as it moved. He was sure his secretary could hear what was going on, if not by his thrusts then by Lacey’s loud moans which he was relishing in. His own grunts and groans escaping as the pleasure spread throughout his body that he so desperately wanted to orgasm. Still, no one had mastered patience like Dax had and his motivating of making her come a few times before he did was what stopped him from giving into his urge. Instead, he let himself focus on the feeling of the slick flesh gliding into one another, the way her tight walls gripped him each time he slammed into her and the way her ass rubbed his already sensitive skin. No matter how times he’s had her, he can’t ever get enough just like he can’t in this moment.
It was some moments later Lacey stood up and leaned back into him, her slender frame pressed against and her arms around his neck. He let out a deep moan himself as the change in their positon caused him to slid deeper inside of her but his thrusts didn’t ease up. He held her hips in an iron grip still pressing her to him as he rammed inside of her, his own breath harsh and ragged as their bodies movie together in sync. He let out a breathless chuckle, “I was waiting for the right time and what do you know, it appeared.” He told her just before he heard her last bit of her words that had him dip his head and bit down on her neck, “Fuck, say it again.” He commanded her just as his hands slipped between her legs and began rubbing against her slick wet folds. His strokes alternating between slow and rough so the stimulate her further, Dax was closing to coming now but not until she came first. “Say it again.” His lips now by her ear as he bit down on her ear lobe and picked up his thrusting.

elliot:
Elliot hadn’t missed the way she was regarding him. It was something he was used to, of course, but when she did it it felt better and more genuine, somehow. It also brought the thoughts of the things she said in her tweet back to his head, yet he quickly tried to get rid of those in order to keep a clear head and not lose himself in the way he had secretly been thinking about messaging her since the day he had to read that tweet in public. He could only hope that this action didn’t embarrass her or that she didn’t receive any hate messages because of it. Elliot knew how horrible some of the people who called themselves his fans could be. Some of them took things way too far for his liking and he wanted to call them out for it more than once but he knew that he couldn’t do that. It didn’t make sense to him how they said they were his fans but went against everything he actually stood for. He always tried to come across as kind as down to earth as possible because he wanted people to see that you could get much further in life like that. Despite his efforts to encourage kindness and respect, he hadn’t missed the way people basically fought each other over him online. It was the main reason why he hardly ever read comments or responses to the things he posted.
At her words, Elliot let his gaze travel around the bar they were in, a frown coming to his face as reality settled in. No one else seemed to care about what was happening and how she had looked around in the need for help. He couldn’t blame people for not noticing things happening around them when they were focused on their conversations or their drinks. Still, he couldn’t help but feel upset by the fact that no one else attempted to help her. “It’s a shame,” he said quietly, shaking his head in disbelief. “People only care about themselves and the things going on in their own world. I’m glad I was here to help and get that guy away from you.” He met her eyes again, shooting her a warm smile.
The longer he stood there and looked at the other, the more Elliot hoped that she would agree to his offer. Her profile picture he had seen online didn’t really do her any justice at all. She was so much more breathtaking in real life and he almost found it difficult to tear his eyes away from her. He couldn’t recall the last time a woman had this kind of effect on him but he certainly wasn’t complaining about it. There was something about her that drew him in instantly, something that had him hoping he could get to know her better. The way she spoke had him convinced that she wasn’t only beautiful on the outside but had a wonderful personality to match. Of course, those were all only assumptions he could make about her so far. However, that didn’t mean that Elliot wouldn’t at least try to see if he was right about it.
The way she stared at him had him worrying that his offer was taking things too far and he was just about to apologize and dismiss it when she finally responded. Elliot released a breath he didn’t know he was holding, his worries now completely gone. He turned to look at the table his friends were sitting at. They all quickly looked away when they he turned around which caused him to chuckle. Bringing her to the table with him was only a good idea if he wanted his friends to tease him about her later on. Elliot wasn’t in the mood for any of that, so when he turned back around to look at her, he shook his head. “Oh, they definitely wouldn’t mind but… You know what, let’s just enjoy the drinks at the bar. It’s more relaxed than sitting with my friends, believe me.” It was also a better way for him to speak to her alone without his friends interfering or trying to embarrass him in front of her.
Payal was almost sure she looked appeared as an absolute idiot with the way she kept staring at Elliot, the poor guy probably suffered through this everywhere he went. He’d came and rescued a random woman and said woman was now staring at him as if she’d never she a man before. It was why when she realized the time that had passed with her staring she finally tore her gaze away and shot him an apologetic look in the process. Though as she stood, the actor didn’t look annoyed or even bothered with was she thankful for because the last thing she wanted to do was come off as one of those crazy fans. Now, Payal was a huge fan of his but she most definitely was not crazy though it was still something she went back and forth with given the tweet she had posted. What really had her puzzled was the way he kept gazing back at her, she couldn’t quite read his expression but the way he continued to stare in return sent a small shiver down her spine. It was sort of a prickly sense of awareness but still one she couldn’t quite name. Payal would be lying if she said she wasn’t the least bit flattered and if she didn’t know any better he looked as if he were trying to read her. Which only intrigued her in response.
Once her tweet went viral and Elliot had it read, her twitter account became flooded with messages both nice ones and downright awful ones. She’d also gained a hoard of new followers that completely stunned her, to be honest she hadn’t meant that tweet to get so out of hand. It was a simple thirst tweet that millions of other women sent to the actor, she didn’t think hers was anything special or even noteworthy to generate such a response. Which was why she thanked the stars above that Elliot hadn’t recognized her because she wasn’t sure how she’d respond if he had recognized her. She watched as the male looked around in response to her words nor did she miss the frown that graced his lips. She wondered what about her words had him frown but she got response when he commented on her words. His words caused a small smile to curve her lips, it was then he met her gaze again and held it. For a split second, she felt a warm sensation pass through her and she knew it had to with Elliot’s gaze peering into her own. ‘Get a grip’, Payal told herself, he’s just a guy, famous but only a guy. “I don’t blame them, there’s so many people here it’s not their job to be looking out for damsels in distress. As much as I hate those words, it’s the best way to describe my situation.” She smiled a bit wider, “I’m glad you came to my rescue as well. I can’t be the first one you’ve rescued, so I’m going to assume you make it your job to keep a look out for all of us in busy bars.” She couldn’t help but jest.
If she didn’t come across looking like a crazy person, Payal could have easily spent hours gazing into those magnetic eyes of his. There was something those hazel orbs of his that made her want to be able to see into them, and anytime she glanced at them ( even briefly ) she could swear they held her in place. Keeping her there and almost wanting her to uncover what went on behind them and what went on in his mind. They were eyes that she’d read about in her romance novels, ones that contained so many stories and somehow, she sensed there was also one behind Elliot’s striking hues. Which was why when he offered her to join him, Payal knew she wouldn’t turn him down not if it meant having the opportunity to get to know him and this might be perhaps her only chance as well. It wouldn’t be every day that she ran into Elliot, and the fact she had tonight had just made her entire week in a few minutes. Payal, however, still wondered how Elliot wanted to keep her company, but she wouldn’t question it now.
She saw him glance at her friends, then followed his trail to see that they had been staring at the two. Payal grew a bit nervous at joining him along with his friends because if being around Elliot wasn’t a bit nerve-wrecking for her than being surrounded by his friends wouldn’t help her nerves either. The brunette looked back at Elliot just as she heard his chuckle and then his words, which caused her to relax a bit because being alone with him wouldn’t be so bad. She wouldn’t have more eyes on her and Payal preferred it that way. “I won’t argue with that considering there’s a lot of them.” She paused then and met his gaze once more. “Listen, are you sure? If you’re trying to make my night a little better, you already have. I don’t want to take you away from your friends, I’m sure they came out wanting to spend time with you as well. Not that I don’t want to keep you company, I’d love it but I don’t want to impose either…” Payal gave him a look that said she didn’t mind him cutting their time short, after all, he’d come here to enjoy his night with his friends. “And if you’re absolutely positive then I insist your first drink is on me.” She then flashed him a dimpled smile and gestured towards the bar area and a section that was spacious enough for them sit at.

jasper:
Jasper couldn’t lie about the fact that he needed Clara’s company. He also needed to get out of his apartment and to spend some time with other people. It was about time for a change of scenery because he could feel how bored he slowly but surely grew of constantly seeing either his or Clara’s apartment. Sure, he enjoyed all the time he got to spend with her alone but after the past few weeks, Jasper finally wanted to get outside again. The only problem was that there was still that part of him that was scared of what could happen out there, especially since they were in a place he wasn’t familiar with at all. He didn’t know what kind of people came to this new bar and if he’d even fit in which was the reason for the pout that had found its way onto his lips when they left Clara’s apartment. He also knew how much she liked poking fun at him for it so it wasn’t entirely unintentional either. Besides, Jasper could never stay moody for too long when Clara was right there by his side. She always found a way to turn his mood around; tonight, she managed that by teasing him about the pout on his face.
Much more quickly than Jasper wanted her to, Clara managed to turn his frown into a grin and he couldn’t help but laugh along with her. It felt good to laugh with her again and it gave him hope that he could forget about all his troubles for one night without having to intoxicate himself. “You trying to tell me you dressed up for me and not all of the attractive guys who will have their eyes all over you?” He questioned, raising his eyebrows at her. “If that’s the case, you’re an even bigger idiot than I thought you were.” Despite his joking, Jasper couldn’t deny that he would feel somewhat honored if she did in fact dress up for him. If that was actually the case, then he was the big idiot here. Sure, she was an attractive woman but Jasper never allowed himself to feel anything more than friendship for her because she didn’t deserve to be loved by someone like him. In Jasper’s opinion, Clara deserved everything and more and he knew that was something he could never give her. All he could give her was a world full of pain and tragedy, so there was no chance in hell he’d drag her into this mess any more.
“You’re the best company I could ever ask for,” Jasper responded, now shooting her a genuine smile. He didn’t have to explain to Clara why he didn’t necessarily feel like smiling but he was willing to try to enjoy himself for her. After all, the last thing he wanted was to ruin Clara’s night by making her feel like she had dragged him to his own personal hell. Clara was also right with her assumption that getting out of the house was what Jasper needed. Sometimes, it was almost scary just how well she knew him and what he needed but after all the years they spent together, Jasper should be used to that by now. She knew him better than anyone else, a look in his face and she knew what was going on in his head. “Alright, alright,” he sighed but his smile returned to his lips. “You’re right. I’m glad I got out of the house for once. I’ll try not to look like I’m about to murder anyone who comes close to you, okay?”
Clara’s was aware some of her comment sounded down right ridiculous but she’d purposely said such things if only to get her best friend to crack a smile. She’d done it when she attempted to pull him out of his apartment and even she realized that Jasper was aware he couldn’t stay copped up in his place forever. The fact that she had managed to get him to come along was a victory in itself, she’d completed one part of her mission and the second she was currently working on. When they’d been young and she’d poke fun at him he’d actually glare at her and never bothered to hide his annoyance at being teased. While, Jasper was aware it came from a good place entirely, it was all innocent fun, he still wasn’t too fond of it. Eventually he began to ignore it but that didn’t the stop the brunette from her teasing and now here was she was doing the same thing but this time she saw a smile appear on his face. His smiles had to be one of favorite things, it not only softened his sharp features but also made is eyes appear brighter. Moreover, the smile almost made appear younger as he had been as a teenager.
It was his laugh that surprised her momentarily, she didn’t think her words would induce such a reaction in him and she smiled widely. The sound of his laugh was like music to her ears that she wished she could bottle up the sound for herself. It was a sound she didn’t think she’d hear anytime soon, in that moment he looked so…free. It made Clara want to work day and night to see that look on his face all the time. “Of course, I did ask youout, didn’t I?” Playfully calling it a date, just to see his reaction. “Why the hell would I want to dress up for a bunch of drunk men who probably will end up groping me? Good god, Jasper do you call every woman who makes this sort of an effort for you, an idiot?” She gave him a look of mock hurt, “This is what I get for going all out for you, huh.” Her brown eyes were gleaming as she said those words because she’d know he was also teasing her back in return. Clara had a healthy dose of confidence where her looks were concerned, she knew she was attractive but she did idly wonder if Jasper thought so too. Not that it mattered if he did or not, although once upon a time when they’d been teenagers she thought about it but it was a phase she quickly grew out of. As the years went by and she grew up, her crush had disappeared and all that remained was her love for best friend.
Clara gave him a wide smile at his words, more so when she saw his smile appear in return, and her hand reached over to squeeze his softly before she pulled it back and let it rest in front of her. Of course, these weren’t things he had to say to her because the brunette knew what she meant to him, she never had any doubt where her place in his life was concerned. Which was why she hoped he’d felt the same and wanted the same when she’d told him she wanted them to be friends and watch their kids grow up together. Clara had only ever had two wishes in her life: one that Jasper would find that happiness he deserved and soon and the second that they’d be best friends till the end of time. “You’re damn right I am.” She said a bit smugly and she could see Jasper making an effort to actually have a nice time. So, when he gave in, she gave him a rather proud smile while meeting his hazel gaze but also let out a chuckle at the last bit of his words. “That’s like a good boy, you’re making me so proud. As for the other men, well, if someone gets hands-y, I hope you do scare them off. As I said, I have no desire to attract any sort of attention. I want to enjoy our night out with time with my best friend, no one else.”
It was then Clara realized they were sitting idly with no drinks in their hand but given Jaser’s situation, she was had no intention of bringing alcohol to their table. Moreover, she didn’t care for the stuff and now that he was finally doing a bit better she wasn’t about to ruin it for him either. “Alright, I’m parched, I’m going to get us some drinks. I hope you like mocktails.” The brunette didn’t wait for his response and stood up giving him a quick smile, “I’ll be right back.” With that she disappeared because she didn’t want to make it such a big deal, knowing Jasper he’d tell her he was and that she could drink alcohol around him. While she knew he was fine and she trusted enough that he wouldn’t lose it again so soon and during their night out, it didn’t mean Clara would be insensitive. She wanted him to know he had her full support and it wasn’t a sacrifice on her part either. Clara walked up to the bar and ordered them both a mocktail, by know she was aware of Jasper’s taste buds so it wasn’t a long process. As she was waiting for their drinks to be made, a rather tall male walked up to her. “Hey gorgeous, can I buy you a drink?” Clara internally rolled her eyes but gave the man a polite smile, “No thank you, I’m here with someone.” Then pointing to Jasper and waving at him just to show this man she was indeed not alone.
“You two don’t look like a couple.” The man pointed out clearly proud of that observation, and this time she did roll her eyes. “Oh, and what is it that I have to prove to you? I’m sorry I’m not interested, please leave.” He still didn’t appear to get the hint, so Clara turned away from him and moved a bit father from the man. Much to her dismay, he followed still insisting she gave him a chance and that he could show her ‘a good time.’ that she could feel a migrane coming on.

grayson:
Madison was lucky enough to grow up with parents who—despite their money—taught her kindness and modesty above all else. She knew how many rotten rich children there were out there and she felt sorry for all of them. There were so many of them who were brought up thinking that their money was everything they needed to make people do what they wanted but Madison never believed in anything like that. She hated how much money her parents had and how some people assumed that just because she was their daughter, she had to be spoiled and a terribly arrogant person to be around. Madison, however, tried to be the exact same opposite of that. She tried to care for everyone around her and wanted to make sure people felt comfortable whenever they were around her. She often put other people’s needs before her own which resulted in her getting hurt more than once. Despite all of that, Madison never got rid of those qualities and even though she still wasn’t all that fond of Grayson, she didn’t want to make him feel like he wasn’t welcome in her home. The sound of his soft chuckle was something she wasn’t used to yet but she found herself hoping that she’d get to hear it more often. “Hmm, I still have enough other reasons to make fun of you, so I think I can live with you not being a slob,” she teased, her own words followed by a lighthearted laugh. “Actually, I’m glad you’re not a slob because that’s just disgusting.”
Her second glass of wine as well as the food she was munching on did a great deal at finally calming her down and distracting her from the thoughts she had running through her mind earlier. Knowing that she could still talk to Grayson as easily as she did was helping as well and for a moment, she wondered why they never managed to speak to each other in such a respectful manner before. This was much more pleasant than their usual bickering or fighting. Chewing her food, Madison thought about what there was to tell him about herself that was important to know. “Well, I don’t know how relevant this is but… I actually hate having to get up and dressed for work. I oversleep a lot and if I could, I’d go there in my pajamas,” she admitted, a grin spreading on her lips as she spoke. In any other situation, Madison would have never told Grayson about that but now that they had to share things about themselves, she figured she might as well let him know how difficult it was to get her out of bed in the mornings. It wasn’t the most appealing thing about her, yet she wanted to see how he’d react to something like that.
Madison was in the midst of trying to think of something else when his question caught her attention and she nodded her head in response. “It’s a new one, yes. It only opened a couple of days ago,” she said. “That’s probably also something you should know about me: I like trying new things because I get bored easily.” Madison couldn’t count the amount of hobbies she had taken up and given up on again just as quickly because she simply couldn’t get herself to truly commit to any of them. Every time she thought she found something that was fun, she grew tired of it a couple of days later and felt the need to find something new.
It was still strange for Grayson to be sitting and chit chatting with her and for once the usual annoyance he had for Madison was nowhere to be found. He supposed, if he actually took the time to get to know her as he was now, he’d have known earlier that she could be quite pleasant herself. He couldn’t place what it was but as he sat there and dined with her, there was a sense of that familiar peace he’d been experiencing with her back at the restaurant earlier this week. Why or how this was the case, Grayson couldn’t figure it out but what he did know was that it was one he could see himself getting used to. Even when he was alone while growing up in his home, he had never felt this sort of peace. Perhaps that was because while his home had been empty and laced with a deafening silence, it wasn’t the case while being with Madison. Still, the blonde was annoyed with himself for letting such thoughts enter his mind, it had to be his nerves and his exhaustion from the day that was messing with his mind. As he took small bites of the food, he looked over when she responded only to see a rather a playful look on her features that made her look, well, rather charming. “Oh, like what?” The CEO was challenging her to name at least one thing she’d find laughable about him but he was also curious to know what she’d come up with. “I didn’t say that I didn’t have my off days, especially when I’m on a time crunch. You’ll probably see them soon enough and more often then you’d want.” He couldn’t help but throw in.
Grayson sipped his wine slowly, this time savoring the tasteful wine that hit the right taste buds in his tongue. He liked hard liquor but he also the kind of guy who appreciated good wine when he’s had it. Surprisingly, the CEO wasn’t a big drinker and it had to do with the fact that he liked to keep his wits about him in any given situation work related or otherwise. Perhaps it was also the wine that had his ease up and not go out of his way to antagonize her but he also chalked it up to the long day he that he didn’t have much energy to bicker with her. Nor did he have it in him to being rude when all she’d been is a welcoming host and decent company towards him. So, when she began speaking he gave her his attention while eating, but his ears were attuned to her words. He caught her grin and for a moment all Grayson could do was stare because it was a smile that was almost blinding. It was also then he snapped out of it, mentally berating himself for even noticing such a thing and not knowing why. He shot her an amused look, “Are you one of those who can sleep through anything? If that’s the case and we have early morning meetings, there’s going to be a problem.” He’s just messing with her on the last comment, “You like to sleep in and sleep in general, got it. I’m an early riser but that’s because I like to work out early morning since with our line of work our days getting busy pretty quickly. With that said, on a scale of one to ten, how pissed off would you be if I dumped ice water on you to get up for early morning tasks?”
He didn’t look over as he heard her answer his question, but because it was so damn good he had to ask. “Can you make a note of this place for future? I have a feeling I’ll be wanting this often.” He added quickly just before Madison continued sharing more facts about herself. Grayson was stunned to find himself listening and curious but he supposed the food had out him in a good mood as well as Madison’s more playful demeanor it was a shock to see her go from being annoyed with him to smiling in his presence. The blonde wasn’t sure why, but he was somewhat getting used to this light side of her. He nods at that statement of hers, “Hmm, so you’re not as boring as I thought you were.” He quipped polishing off his wine and setting the glass down. Grayson could understand that, he too had grown bored of certain things he’d take an interest in. “Me too, though trying new things is applicable in the food department so you can add to that list of things we have in common. Shocking, isn’t it?” He asked raising a brow as he glanced at her. “What do you on your free time, when you’re not working?”

nathan:
The more time passed with having Mahi this close to him, the harder it became for Nathan to control himself. He didn’t want to make any quick moves around her since he felt like she was the type of woman who not only wanted but also deserved to be charmed. If he wanted to win her over properly without making a huge mess, he had to try and do this slowly. Besides, he wanted to do this slowly, too. He didn’t want this to feel like one of the many flings he had before, not when he felt some sort of connection to Mahira. Where that feeling came from, he didn’t really know. Maybe it was the fact that both of them came from the same kind of family and knew what the other had to go through or what was waiting for them at home. It was nice to know that, for once, there was someone who knew exactly what kind of family he had waiting for him at home. It was also nice to know that he didn’t have to keep it a big secret that he had to hide from her. He could be as open with her as he wanted which was a rare occurrence for Nathan. Usually, people didn’t know the real business his parents did. He had a cover-up story for those times and while it was interesting to act like a completely normal person, Nathan did prefer the times when he didn’t need to lie to others.
Mahi’s words brought an apologetic look to his face. He couldn’t help but feel somewhat sorry for the rumors that people spread about her—they always seemed a little over the top, although Nathan could never know for sure if there was any truth to them or not. Still, he knew how horrible people could be, especially when it came to receiving rejection. “What can I say? I’ve always had a soft spot for a challenge. And I don’t like believing rumors,” he told her with a smile on his lips. “You’re a woman who knows what she wants and deserves. That’s a dangerous thing, you know? Most men can’t handle that and when they get rejected, they have to fix their broken ego by spreading shit about the woman who hurt them. It’s pathetic.” Nathan never understood why some men acted like that. He had received a couple of rejections in his life, too, but never did he think about ruining the women’s reputation by spreading lies or rumors about her but maybe making the woman out to be the horrible person was easier for some people than finding the flaws in their own behavior. Nathan, on the other hand, tried to see what he did wrong and fix those things about him. Of course, it didn’t always work but it was still a better way to go about it than ruining someone else.
The question Mahi asked him caught him off-guard. Perhaps it also had to do with the fact that she had leaned into him and her hand was now placed on top of his knee. He still ached to touch her exposed skin, yet there was something that was still holding him back. Instead, he slowly started stroking up and down her back, his fingers running over the fabric of her dress in feather-like touches. When Nathan was younger, he often found himself wishing that he could just be normal and have a normal family. Then again, he thought that a mundane life would only end up boring him. There was some thrill to this lifestyle. Shrugging his shoulders in response, Nathan let a sigh escape before he answered. “I do but… I don’t think it’s on the table for us. I’ve seen people who work for my parents try to get out of all of this but they always end up coming back. I think that when you’re in it once, you can never really get out,” he explained, “Besides, it’s in our blood. I don’t think we’d survive in the normal world for more than two days without wanting to do something bad.”
As Mahi sat beside him, she honestly didn’t think the night would go this way and work so well in her favor. For someone who had a rather large ego, even she had her concerns as to how her plan would proceed and she had anticipated every sort of outcome when she first approached Nathan that evening. However, none of them ended with her ending up quite literally in his arms and it was safe to say Mahi was more than pleased. More so, when she realized how easy it was to talk to this man and unlike her worries he hadn’t been the cold man she’d heard so much about. Nor did she imagine she’d enjoy being in the arms of her enemy to this extent and she still hated that she did. Mahi hated every single thingabout the way she reacting towards him. What was it about him that her ease up and talk so freely than she normally would with anyone? What was so specialabout Nathan that had her reacting in such a way? That had her desperately aching to feel his hands on her bare skin and his lips? It was that same feeling that perhaps stopped her from making a bold move to show him he could put his hands on her. Her pride wouldn’t let her given in so easily to this man. Mahi, who was normally so well at controlling herself could slowly feel those very remnants of her control slip with each minute that passed by. Why him?
Mahira hope she could get herself back in control and while to Nathan she appeared completely composed and showing just enough interest in him, it didn’t mean she was comfortable with this foreign feeling. Her brown hues were still trained on him, mostly because she couldn’t figure out why she couldn’t tear it away from his own dark gaze. Nathan held it the entire time he spoke and it still unnerved her till no end. Then she saw an apologetic look appear on his face and she couldn’t stop the puzzled look she gave him. Was it because he was genuinely sorry for her, and if so, why? Mahi was still his enemy, before tonight he had no reason to feel anything towards other than indifference. “Incredibly perceptive too, aren’t you?” She asked, though the question was rhetorical, his words and the look he’d given her having the strangest effect on her once more much to her dismay. “Dangerous…interesting description. You’re right, it is pathetic but it’s not just opposite genders who speak ill of us, it’s everyone. We can voice our disapproval all we like but the appeal of rumors can’t be denied, they have a way of latching onto people. Do they bother you, Nathan? The rumors about you?” Her gaze not turning curious as she peered at him, her free hand resting under her chin as she gave him her full attention. They honestly didn’t bother her, she had much more important matters that required her attention rather than some cheap and meaningless gossip.
She’d seen the surprised look that appeared on the male’s features at her question, which only left Mahi more intrigued. She honestly didn’t know why she was so eager to hear his answer but she supposed, she wanted to get his perspective on the matter for her own curiosity. The brunette wondered if her casual gesture affected him in some way, if it did he didn’t show it and it that yet again irritated her. Still, Mahi kept her gaze on him as he thought on her question, her fingers tracing idle patters on his knee where her hand rested. It was then a moment later she felt his hand stroke down her back, the touches so light she’d have imagined them if it were fore the heat his fingers generated each time it touched pressed into the fabric of her dress. It caused her to lean into him a bit more, a move she had not been fully aware she made until she felt her shoulder touch fully touch his chest. When he finally spoke, it was her turn to ponder them and she couldn’t help but smile at them, her eyes gleaming a bit at the very last of his words. “To be honest, how are parents managed to make a family I will never know. What we do and the power that comes with it, it’s sort of intoxicating. I think it’s easy for anyone to get caught up and not realize until it’s too late that you can never escape it. We’re all only human and we all have our greed. Our parent’s feud being solid proof of that.” She said giving him a slight nod, “No, I don’t think we would survive a mundane life at all. Our lives are both a blessing and a curse.” Those last words were spoken a tad quietly, it was then Mahi had moved her gaze away from him to stare at something other than him. “I resent my parents, I love them but I still hate them for taking away my chance to do the things I would have wanted for myself. Do you ever feel that way?” Those words hard escaped without her permission that there was a hint of surprise that crossed her features at her won confession.
It was then the waiter came by and dropped off their food and it gave Mahi a moment to compose herself yet again. This was quickly becoming a common theme for the night that it almost made her want to stop speaking to Nathan entirely because god knows what else she might end up confessing to him. The waiter hadn’t even walked away and she had already placed a French fry into her mouth, chewing it quickly and not looking in his direction for those few seconds. Namely, because she hoped the food would busy Nathan while she organized her thoughts and attempted to steer the conversation into something trivial. “What do you think?” Referring to the food and by then she had already bit into her own burger, which caused her to remove her hand from his knee so she could eat properly. “Amazing or what?” Now, she definitely was overdoing it. For fuck’s sake, she was supposed to be seducing him not letting him into her mind. She had to remember that going forward.

valerie:
Valerie was more than satisfied that she finally managed to get Sabrina not to ask any further questions about her behavior. Still, she knew that the other was probably going to bring up again sooner or later but for Valerie, there was no point in worrying about that for now. All she wanted to do now was enjoy the private time she could spend with Sabrina without thinking about the things that happened or would happen at work. As much as she had hoped that they would spend another night together, Valerie certainly didn’t expect for them to end up doing that today. She thought that this was going to be a terrible time for her, that she’d go home feeling absolutely miserable for treating someone like Sabrina so badly but now that she was taking Sabrina home with her, her worries were gone and replaced by the excitement she felt. Maybe it was wrong to turn such a serious conversation into something like this, but considering that Sabrina had agreed to come with her, Valerie figured that she didn’t mind the turn of events either.
The only thing Valerie hadn’t planned on was actually helping Sabrina with the work she was working on. It wasn’t because she didn’t want to help her. In fact, Val thought that they both could benefit from each other’s knowledge and different approaches to things. Valerie simply didn’t want to ruin their night together by worrying about work—that was something for another time, or for the next morning. For now, they were going to enjoy themselves privately, there was no space for their work or the things they had to get done in time.
That’s why Valerie didn’t waste any time getting out of the cab and helping Sabrina out as soon as they arrived at her apartment. Val didn’t let go of Sabrina’s hand once she was outside. Instead, she held on to it, letting her thumb gently run across the skin of the back of her hand. “You know, maybe we should cross the whole work thing off the list and just enjoy each other’s company for the night. There’s enough time to worry about work in the morning,” she suggested, leading the both of them to her front door. “So, no more talk about work or I won’t take you inside.”
Sabrina wondered if she’d ever fully figure this woman out but she knew she wanted to spend her time trying and if that meant being able to spend the time with Valerie, even better. Even as she sat during their can ride the worries of the next didn’t quite leave, despite the fact that she told herself that whatever she could deal with it the next day. Sabrina knew better than to expect Val to be as she was right now the next day at work, making it abundantly clear that this was something she was not comfortable addressing at work. It was why Sabrina was so worried despite knowing that this could very well be her last night Val which was she chided herself not to overthink. As surreal as she found this moment that she was sitting right beside her and was about to have an entire night with her, there was a part of her that was afraid this was a dream she might wake up from.
It was when the can to a full stop did she realize this was all happening. Sabrina was about to spend the night with the same woman who captivated her in one night but also made her miserable the past two months but yet again found a way to draw her in once more. Valerie truly was an enigma. Val stepped out of the cab first and much to her surprised also helped Sabrina out as well which had smiling at the woman. Sabrina quickly handed the driver a couple of dollar bills just Val tugged her along. She then turned her full attention to the raven-haired beauty as she felt her hand brush along her own hand, the one Val still held onto. Tingles went down her spine at the soft show of affection, but it was expected at this point when Val’s kisses seemed set off fireworks in Sabrina. Her words caused an amused smile to curve her own lips, letting the other woman lead her to front door. It was then Sabrina tugged on Val’s hand and bought it up to her lips, kissing the palm of her hand before meeting her gaze. “You’re crazy if you think I’m going to be talking about work while I’m with you and while you’re naked. Can we go inside now? Because I’m dying to take those clothes off you and kiss you everywhere.” She told her rather bluntly because it was a language Val understood very well.
She waited until Val unlocked the door and let her step inside before Sabrina closed the door behind them and without waiting, she had Val pinned against the very door, her mouth finding hers instantly. One her hands tangled in Val’s gorgeous dark locks and tilted her head slightly so she could kiss her thoroughly, the kiss starting off gentle before she let it deep. The same sensations that she experienced that afternoon when they’d been kissing returned full force as Sabrina gently coaxed her mouth open so she could taste her better. Her other hand resting on her Val’s slender waist as she pressed herself against the woman without breaking the kiss.

lacey:
The way Daxton reacted to her words only had her smirk growing. She knew that talking to him like that would rile him up which was the exact reason why she did it in the first place. Before she could talk back, her lips were captured in a rough kiss. When her backside hit his desk and her body touched his, a soft gasp left her mouth. She was sure she would never grow used to what feeling his body against her own did to her. The longer Dax kissed her, the more Lacey ached to finally feel him inside of her but she knew she couldn’t make any more snarky comments if she wanted him to fuck her. Lacey had no doubt that Daxton would eventually stop all of this if she kept talking, so she decided to leave it at that one comment she had made. Everything else was up to him from now on. She would be patient and let him do as he pleased.
Lacey couldn’t hold back a moan as he roughly squeezed her breast. As soon as his hand was gone, she craved more of it, craved for him to keep touching her and exploring every inch of her body. Her anticipation only grew when Dax slid his finger inside of her panties. It was almost embarrassing just how wet she already was but there was no time for her to react to it in any way because suddenly, Lacey felt his finger inside of her. She leaned her head back in pleasure, another moan leaving her mouth now that her own body finally received the attention she had craved this whole time. Just as quickly as Dax had slid his finger inside, he removed it again. Lacey opened her mouth to complain but was met by him tugging her face closer and giving her the next instructions that only caused her to grow even hotter. His rough words and the way he treated her like she was nothing more than a toy he could play with today had an appeal to her that she couldn’t hide anymore.
Lacey simply nodded her head, catching his lips in a quick kiss before she turned around. She was determined to put on a little show for him again, just like she did when he ordered her to take off his pants, so she took her time bending over his desk, her hands moving anything that was in her way to the side. Looking at Dax over her shoulder, she smiled at him, then placed her hands on either side of his desk. “Is it alright like that, Dax?” She asked, her voice almost too innocent. His following words made her swallow hard and bite down on her lip—god, this was definitely too hot to handle at this point. “I can’t wait to feel you inside of me,” Lacey whispered, “Please, fuck me.”
Daxton grinned against her lips as she moaned, he had no doubt Lacey like it rough, after all this woman was rough around the edges in general. While he loved taking his time with her, even he loved it rough on occasion especially when she teased and provoked like she had today, it was hard to hold back like he normally did. As he his finger moved inside of her roughly, he teased her just enough to see her reaction, hearing her deep moans and the way she tilted her back in pleasure. So, when he slipped his finger out of her he could see the redhead wanting to protest but one look he gave her had her wisely stay quiet. Now, this was interesting to him, she’d been following his orders to the dot and he didn’t know when she’d let him do this again so he was going to take full advantage of it. Though, he was sure even Lacey was aware her smart mouth was one of his favorite things, he loved it when she gave him as good as she got.
He felt her lips on his once more and wordlessly she did as he ordered and bent that hot body of hers over his desk and the sight itself was enough for him to lose whatever little control he had managed to hold onto. Her delicious ass was now right in his line of sight, her bright red locks spread across her back that his eyes darkened. His mind mentally snapping an image of her in this eroticpositon that for him to take. He couldn’t even put into words of what it was doing to him but he was sure this wouldn’t be the first time he’d have her bent over his desk like this. “Better.” He told her as his hazel eyes darkened to the point where he was sure they were almost pitch black. With that he walked over and slid his hand along her spine a bit roughly. His fingers digging into her flesh as his mouth found her ears and he bit down on her ear lobe. “What did I say about keeping quiet? The only thing I want to hear out of that pretty little mouth is you screaming my name.”
With that, his hands roughly squeezed her ass before he took a hold of her hips to keep her in place, Dax positioned himself right at her soaking wet folds. A growl escaping his lips at the sensation and without warning he slid inside of her all the way until every inch of his aching cock was buried inside of her tight wet heat. The young tycoon only held still for a moment as he relished in the feeling of being encased in silk before he slid back out and rammed back inside of her. All his earlier frustrations and stress of the day now being channeled into fucking Lacey senseless who seemed to respond so eagerly and he would deliver. His hands were locked onto her hips in an iron grip and he pushed her back against him harder which caused her ass to rub against his pelvis. Dax didn’t ease up on her thrusts ramming into her each time he slid out with such a force that he was sure she wouldn’t be able to stand straight after let along walk.
His hips moved liked pistons against hers, each time she moaned and screamed he sped up, diving deeper into her until he was sure he was hitting that sweet spot of hers. Dax tried to curb his own groans and growls but it was hard with the way tight way her walls gripped his him each time he slammed inside of her. There truly was nothing compared to being buried inside of her and feeling her clench him as if she’d never let him go and there was a small part of him hoped it would be the case. Still, the male placed his thoughts aside and concentrated on the pleasure he was currently experienced as he continued to fuck her hard and fast. Setting a pace to let her feel him thoroughly but he wasn’t ready to let either of them come just yet. As much as he wanted to come and feel that release he desperately needed, he wanted to this to last a bit longer before he let both of them give in. “Fuck, you’re so tight. You have no idea how many times I fantasized about bending you over my desk and fucking you until you can’t remember your own name” With each work he said, he rammed into her hard his hips holding her in place and letting that soft but firm ass of hers rub against him each time he slid inside of hers.

lacey:
Hearing the moans that left Daxton’s mouth was enough to make her want to continue and when he started praising her, Lacey wanted nothing more than to keep hearing that from him while she worked on him. She didn’t know why she was so greedy to hear him praise her or let her know just how much he enjoyed what he was doing but now that she had gotten a taste of it, she realized just how much it turned her on to know she was pleasing him this much. She could felt heat and wetness between her legs, her own core aching to be touched. For a brief moment, Lacey considered moving one of her hands between her legs but she didn’t want to do anything without Daxton’s instructions. Instead, she met his eyes as he tugged her closer, trying to distract herself from how much she craved to be touched.
At his next order, Lacey nodded her head. “I’ll do anything for you today, baby,” she cooed, although she knew that he could treat her like that any other day and she’d be just as obedient. Without waiting any longer, Lacey moved her mouth back towards his cock. The fingers of one of her hands gently wrapped around the base while the other hand was still placed against his thigh, fingernails digging into his skin. She leaned forward then, wrapping her mouth around the tip of his cock once more. The pace Lacey set at first was slow and almost tortuously soft but after a minute or so, she started bopping her head faster, not giving Dax a moment to restore from her previous gentleness. She moaned against his length every time it hit her throat, relishing in the taste that filled her mouth as she sucked him and the sounds of his groans that filled her ears. Only when she felt like she needed to get a bit of air in did Lacey remove her mouth, yet the hand that was wrapped around his base started taking over by stroking him, her hands continuing the hard pace her mouth had set. The more time she spent pleasing him, the more she wanted to pay attention to her own needs, too, but she still didn’t dare to move her free hand between her legs. She wanted to do as Daxton told her, wanted to prove to him how good she could be for him, so doing anything he didn’t tell her to seemed like it was off-limits. Still, it was difficult not to feel any sort of friction against her clit, even pressing her thighs together didn’t do the trick anymore.
Looking up at Dax, she smiled softly. The smile was almost too soft for the way he treated and spoke to her and almost too soft for how rough the redhead usually was. She knew she had to bite back all the comments she wanted to make but due to the lack of attention her own needs received so far, she wasn’t able to hold back her usual attitude. Her soft smile turned into a smirk and her eyes glistened with lust. “Aren’t you going to fuck my mouth? Shove your cock down my throat as much and as hard as you want to? I thought you were going to take whatever you wanted but I’m doing all the work so far. Fucking show me what you can do, Dax.” As soon as the words left her mouth, she bit down on her bottom lip, both in an attempt to stop herself from talking and because of the anticipation she felt waiting for his response.
Hearing her confirm she’d do anything he asked, made him a smirk a bit but there was also a side of that was somewhat surprised she was letting him take the lead. He can’t deny the satisfaction he’s feeling at the way Lacey completely leting him take charge, There was something so erotic about her giving herself to him completely and it only fuels his desire. As she continues her ministrations over his cock, his eyes stay on her completely hypnotized the sight of her mouth wrapped around his cock and her body encase only in green lace. The sight itself made it extremely difficult for Dax to remove his gaze, he was so incredibly turned on betwen her mouth working over his cock and the her lusterous body right in his view. He felt her mouth move harder over his shaft at his command and by now Dax couldn’t hold back his pleasured moans. After being buried inside of her, her mouth had to be his second heaven on earth. When her hands replaced his mouth, his lips parted as he peered down at her, and he knew the uncomfortable way she shifted, she was growing wet between her legs.
Dax continued to watch her work him, her hands on his cock wreacking the same sort of havoc on him as her mouth did. Truth be told, when he did come he wanted to be buried inside of her hot wet pussy, which he had no doubt it was soaked by now. It was her words that caused him to react and the innocent way she smiling up at him, “You know, sometimes you need to learn how to control that smart mouth of yours. I do plan on fucking you, but not your mouth today.” He told her roughly before he gently tugged her upwards because he was so far gone in his need for her he had to inside of her. Without giving her a chance to respond he drew her mouth in a rough kiss, backing her until she pinned against the desk and against his hard body. His one hand was tangled in her hair and the other gently removed the lace bra until her breasts were free. The same hand gave her breast a rought squeeze before his hands slide down the center of body and were now were hovering over her panties.
He slid his hands inside of the fabric and as he suspected he found her wet and ready. Dax then inserted a finger inside of her without breaking their kiss and began pumping inside of her but only to feel her wet walls around him. He had no intentions of letting her come with his fingers today, a few moments later he slid his hand out and tore her panties in one quick moiton. The fabric fell to the floor along with her bra and it was then he broke the kiss and tugged her face closer. “Bend over the desk and put your hands out on either side, and don’t say a word.” Then giving her a look that said he expected her to follow his orders. He let go of her and waited until she was in positon, his hazel eyes watching her lithe frame as his cock still throbbed. “I’m going to fuck you so hard, you won’t be able to walk.”

elliot:
If there was one thing Elliot hated more than anything, it was men who didn’t want to leave women alone even after they made it very clear that they were not interested. He had seen it a million times with his little sister and each time, he was more than glad that he had been right there with there to get her out of these situations. He didn’t like to think what could happen if no one protected her or all of the other women who had to fight these kinds of guys off. It was beyond him how some men couldn’t get it inside of their brains when women told them to leave them alone. It was why he felt the need to help the woman in this bar out—not because he wanted to be some kind of hero but because he saw just how uncomfortable and scared she looked around the bar in an attempt to get someone to help her.
Despite his words, the other man didn’t let go of the woman right away, so Elliot stared at him intently until he did give up and finally walked away. It was better this way, too, because otherwise Elliot would have felt forced to directly confront him and the last thing he could use was some stupid bar brawl with a guy who didn’t know the first thing about respecting other people. When he was out of sight, Elliot immediately let go of the woman’s arm to make sure he wouldn’t make her feel as uncomfortable as the other did just a couple of minutes ago. He lowered his gaze then to look at her and it was in that moment that he realized why she looked so familiar to him: It was the woman whose inappropriate tweet he had to read during one interview. As he couldn’t get that tweet out of his head, he had checked out her profile at home and had noticed just how attractive he found her. Now that he saw her in person, his attraction didn’t alter either. In fact, he had a hard time not looking at her or noticing how beautiful she looked.
Still, Elliot figured it was probably for the best not to bring that tweet up right away. He didn’t want to scare her off or make her think he only got rid off the other man so he could make a move on her himself, especially since that wasn’t his intention at all. If he had a chance at getting to know her now, he could maybe bring it up at some other time, once he knew that she calmed down enough from her previous experience and he knew that she could take a joke—although her tweet was actually enough to prove that she did have a sense of humor.
Her words about repaying him for his help surprised him and he was quick to shake his head, waving off her words. “Come on, you don’t need to repay me for helping you out. It’s what any decent human would have or should have done.” Elliot couldn’t deny that sharing a drink with her did sound tempting, though he didn’t want to let her pay for it, especially not after the situation she was just in. “Maybe I should buy you a drink instead to make sure you can calm down from that horrible experience?” He offered, a genuine smile on his lips that quickly turned into a slight grin. “I promise I’m not hitting on you either, just trying to show you that there are normal people around here.” His offer was a careful one, with his voice soft in an attempt to show her that his invitation didn’t have any sort of strange innuendo to it at all. “If you want you can join me and my friends over at our table, too. I’m sure it’s a little more enjoyable than sitting by the bar all by yourself the whole night.”
It was that night Payal realized why she hated coming to bars in the first place or any place where they served alcohol because of drunk bastards like the man who refused to let her go. She’d only went to a club perhaps twice or three times in her lifetime and didn’t really enjoy herself because she was too busy dodging groping hands. And while bars were a bit tamer, these incidents still occurred which left her filled with a tiny bit of regret for coming out anyway. This time, however, she couldn’t refuse because she didn’t have the heart to refuse her friend after not seeing for so long. The thing was Payal was not used to being hit on by men, she could only recall twice where she’d been asked out but thankfully not by assholes but rather respectful men. However, this was the first frightening experience she had with a guy, because in that moment when he refused to let go of her, she wondered if anyone would help her. Payal knew a little bit of self-defense but she genuinely had no idea how long she’d be able to fight him off. So, it was safe to say when Elliot appeared she thanked the gods above, he truly had no idea what he’d done for her. Sure, maybe in his eyes it wasn’t a big deal but to the brunette it was more than he’d ever know.
The fear slowly began to disappear as Elliot managed to make the guy disappear and still stuck back until he was fully gone. The two were now face to face with one another as her nerves slowly began to disappear because now that he had a full view of her, she didn’t think he recognized her at all. Silence fell between the two as Payal watched him continue to stare at her which caused her to give him a curious look in turn. But as she stood and gazed at him, her eyes raked over his sharp features and she would be lying if she said they hadn’t startled her. She only ever seen the actor in magazines and TV screens but seeing him in person, no picture or camera lens did this man justice. Up close and in person, Elliot was breathtaking. It was also then she realized she was staring for too long than what was deemed appropriate and tore her gaze away, looking over his shoulder briefly before moving it back to him.
Payal recalled watching his very first interview and since then on, it had become a ritual for her to tune into all the others that followed. She couldn’t help but note how down to earth he seemed which is what had her want to tune into them. Of course, she didn’t know him at all to even to come that conclusion but from what she’d heard from Elliot, she had definitely liked. Never did she think she’d be able to meet the man in person let alone that he’d be her savior so even as stood with him it all felt so surreal. It was then he responded to her, and Payal peered at him only to see a surprised look cross his features. “You would think, right? There’s about close to sixty people in here and you came to my rescue. So, thank you again.” She told him sincerely, and she watched as he pondered her offer to buy him a drink. She was glad to see he didn’t take it the wrong way and even if he had refused she wouldn’t have minded because she’d done her part in asking. Elliot coming to her rescue wasn’t the first shock she’d receive that night, his next words had definitely managed to stun her into silence. She could swear when he gave her a genuine smile, her heart picked up just slightly though she knew it had to do with the fact that it was just so blinding.
Payal realized she’d been staring and hadn’t quite given him an answer, as if her mind were still processing if she heard him correctly. And while, she wouldn’t particularly mind she wasn’t sure if she should accept it. Moreover, she was puzzled as to why he was still sticking asking her to join him. This was not something famous people did, while Elliot was definitely the nicer of the bunch, she didn’t think she was interesting to even keep him company. The aspiring writing gave him a small but an equally sincere smile, though she knew there was part of her that wanted to accept because it would give her a chance to get to know him and see if he was what she thought him to be. When would she get this chance again? “That’s extremely kind of you, but you don’t have to do that. You did more for me than you know. I’m fine, thanks to you.” She paused, mentally deliberating but she also realized exactly how rude she would appear if she declined when he’d done her a massive favor and probably saved her in more ways than one. She could accept if only to show her gratitude for his help. She then chuckled at his attempt to epxlain he wasn’t hitting on her, finding it endearing, “You have nothing to prove to me, though I’d argue you’re more than normal and somewhat adorable.” She couldn’t help but tease, he’d know what she meant by that. “It would beat sitting by myself, but only if I’m not imposing. Will your friends be okay with you bringing someone?” Giving him a curious look but also one that said, if he was sure he could lead the way.

jasper:
Just as Jasper expected, spending time all by himself in his apartment proved to be a challenging task at first but every time he felt like things were getting too rough again or his mind tried to trick him into any sort of self-destructive behaviors, he remembered the things that Clara had said to him, along with the words she said about his mother. Repeating these words to himself had the power to calm him down and to get him to find other ways to cope with the things he felt. For the first time in forever, Jasper had worked out again, releasing his anger and frustrations through his workout. Not only did his body feel good afterwards, he also felt somewhat proud of himself for managing to release his feelings in a way that was healthier than what he usually did. It was part of the reason why he spent more time with Clara again, too. Her words were convincing enough that he could come to her if he needed her and so that’s what he did.
The only thing he wasn’t a big fan of was her suggestion that the both of them spend a night out together. Jasper had never been someone who thoroughly enjoyed going out at night, mostly because he knew that he sometimes had trouble controlling himself when he was around alcohol. There was always that fear in him that he could drink too much and lose his self-control, especially when Clara was with him. Jasper never wanted her to see him in such a state, even though she was the one person who knew him better than anyone else. Still, he let her convince him to come out with him tonight. He saw it as a way of thanking her for taking care of him, as a way of repaying her for the time she spent worrying about him. Clara did so many things for him, the least Jasper could do in return was spend some time with her at a new bar she wanted to go to.
Despite his attempts to make this a nice evening for his best friend, Jasper couldn’t keep the distaste he felt for these sorts of night outs off of his face. Of course Clara caught up on that quickly enough and, as she always did, called him out for it. Her words caused him to roll his eyes at first but then he couldn’t hold back a small grin. “I know you didn’t dress up for me, so why would that soften me up?” He asked her jokingly but then shook his head. “If I scare people off with that look, at least no creepy guys will start hitting on you. You should be thanking me instead of trying to get me to smile more. Just see me as your personal bodyguard. Bodyguards never smile.” He was still joking, although he did hope that no weird guys would try to make a move on her. It was one of the things he couldn’t stand seeing, not because he was jealous but because he was a man too and could read the others intentions easily. Still, as they sat down Jasper put on an fake friendly smile that looked almost scary on his face. “Is that better?”
She had been surprised when Jasper appeared at her doorstep days later but more than she’d been so happy to see him. While she knew he hadn’t made peace with what had happen in the past few weeks, he appeared to be a lot better than she’d ever seen him. Moreover, she had been relieved that he hadn’t been angry for mentioning his mother that day and while he didn’t express his anger the day he had left her place, she knew him well enough to know he hadn’t liked what she’d done. She had crossed a line there but somehow Jasper was aware her intention hadn’t been to hurt him, it’d been to give him a reality check he needed. Still, the moment she flung the door open she’d thrown her arms around him, probably suffocating him in the process but was surprise when he didn’t protest her abrupt action. She supposed Jasper was used to it by now and while she knew he loved being hugged and held by her, there were also days where Clara took it a notch too far and annoyed him. But old habits did die hard and this was one of hers.
Seeing his pout when they were leaving his apartment had amused her, actually, Jasper looked quite adorable when he was pouting. She’d even told him that as a teenager and in return she’d received either a snort or a roll of his eyes to showcase his annoyance but that only encouraged further to continue to make those comments to him. Still, Clara appreciated him coming out to the new bar and somehow, she sensed he wouldn’t refuse her right now. Now, the brunette as aware why he didn’t go to bars, he was trying to watch himself around the alcohol and she was so proud of him for that but she believes in him punishing himself. Besides, he had her, she wouldn’t let him break his resolve and so even though she had bought him out she wouldn’t be having alcohol herself and nor did she care for the stuff. When she saw his grin at her words, her mission had been accomplished and she took so much joy in the way he responded to her. “Ouch, who else do you think I dressed up for huh?” She said equally in a playful manner, her brown eyes twinkling, “And you don’t even appreciate it. Why do I try?” Giving him a mock look of hurt before a full left her lips.
Clara shot him an amused look but of course she was touch at his thoughtfulness but not surprised, he’d always been her knight in shining armor since they’d been kids. She recalled all of the times Jasper had protected her from boys who got handsy and couldn’t take a hint. Sometimes it still amazed her at how protective he was when it came to her because it was a trait she exhibited for him but one he gave back in return. It wasn’t surprising though, Jasper wasn’t a man of words, he was a man of actions and while he rarely ever expressed his feelings regarding this friendship, he showed them through the things he’d did for her. All of which she cherished so much, probably more than he’d ever know. “How thoughtful, but you’re not just my bodyguard so I expect a smile, sir.” She said giving him a pointed look, and when he did smile, a fake one that had her wincing. “Actually, I take back my earlier words. This looks more frightening, jeez am I that bad of a company?.” She was jesting of course, because poking fun at him was her favorite past times. “I think getting out the hosue is what you needed, so no pouting, okay? Enjoy the music, emboyance, and the crowd here. Life doesn’t stop you have to live it, Jasper, you can’t just let it pass by you.”

madison:
Madison hated the kind of situations that made her get completely lost in her thoughts. It sometimes felt like her mind was a huge maze and every time something like this happened, she entered it and got lost in it, with no way out except if someone brought her back to reality. That was exactly what happened when she heard Grayson speak up. The sound of his voice startled her at first but then she shook her head to erase the last of her thoughts, instead putting on a smile and nodding her head. She didn’t want him to see just how much his presence disturbed her mind and thoughts. She didn’t want to let him know that he occupied both of these things more than anything else at the moment or how she wasn’t able to properly focus on her work the past couple of days because she kept remembering the feeling of his lips pressed against her own. Madison didn’t understand how he managed to get her this caught up by kissing her and at this point, she hated that she even let him do it. It wasn’t because she didn’t like it but because if she hadn’t let him kiss her, she could at least still focus on every day things without constantly thinking about him or his lips.
When the doorbell rang, Madison was about to make her way to her front door but was interrupted by Grayson’s words. She didn’t like that he went to get the food. After all, he was her guest for the night so of course the food was supposed to be her treat, but after their lunch together, Madison knew better than to argue with him about these kinds of things. She watched as he walked out of her kitchen, releasing a breath she didn’t realise she was holding before she poured a glass of wine for Grayson. She moved it towards him when he came back with their food, a smile on her lips. “Thank you for paying for the food,” she said, leaving out the part where she usually would have told him that it wasn’t necessary and that she wanted to treat him to it. “Let’s talk while we’re eating. Unless you’re one of those people who speak with their mouth full and spit their chewed up food all over the table in the process,” she suggested, a chuckle following after her words.
Turning, she opened the cabinet which held her plates. She had to stand up on her tiptoes to reach them which was something she usually didn’t mind at all but now that she knew Grayson was there and watching her, this everyday-task almost made her feel uncomfortable. Handing Grayson one of the plates along with cutlery, she couldn’t hold back a small grin. “So, what I’ve already learned about you by now is that you like coffee, Chinese food and wine,” she laughed, sitting down next to him, “Which are all things I like, too, so I feel like we’re a match made him Heaven, really.” She was joking, of course, but she could only figure that this was what their parents thought about them if they wanted this unlikely couple to get married.
When Grayson returned with the food and heard her thanks, he waved if off because it really wasn’t a big deal to him. Seeing her do all these nice little things for him almost made him uncomfortable but he supposed maybe it had to do with the fact that no one really ever did these things for him. Simply put, Grayson was not used such kindness from anyone all his life he’d looked after himself because god knows his parents were never around to do so. When he began to grow the nannies were no longer needed so him being on his own wasn’t a new thing for him. What was new would be living with another person in matrimony and getting used to things Madison would no doubt do. They were barely getting to know each other and somehow, he got the sense she’d been preparing for his arrival since the day began and he wasn’t sure what to make of that. He didn’t need to be looked after, the blonde had learned to look after himself since a young age. “Thanks for the wine.” He told her as lifted the glass and took a generous sip and that definitely helped to calm his nerves that had been present since the moment he walked into her place. At her comment, he let out a soft chuckle, “I have a feeling you would love it if i was a slob, it’d give you a reason to make fun of me.” He couldn’t help but remark but he was starving too so he had no qualms of multi-tasking. So, he unwrapped the food as Madison went to get plates. “Unfortunately for you, I’m not a messy eater at all.”
In the midst of his unpacking of the food, he looked over to see her reach on her tiptoes and for a moment froze as his eyes followed the line of her backside. Annoyed that he still seemed to be checking her out, he turned his gaze away and if he hadn’t so distracted at that tempting sight of her backside he’d have gone up and helped her grabbed the plates. Thankfully, his attention was diverted when she spun around and walked over to him handing him a plate and some utensils. Grayson placed a little of the everything she ordered on to each other their plates before he began digging into his own. He did hear her speak, so his gaze moved to her to let her know he was listening. Between the wine and his hands occupied with eating, he didn’t feel as nervous as he had before and he wondered if Madison had the same apprehension. And if she did, her face revealed nothing. He then nodded at her guesses, mildly surprised she picked up on the little details and he’s not sure what strange sensation passes through him at her confession. “I’m impressed, Maddie. Good to know while we’re living together we won’t be fighting about who wants to eat what.” He said returning the sentiment and giving her a faint smirk as he gathered his own thoughts. “You go first, tell me whatever pops into your mind about yourself and things I should know as your soon-to-be husband.”
Grayson idly munched on his food as she waited for her to speak, and he couldn’t deny his curiosity because when it came down he didn’t know her at all. For once, the blonde took that a positive approach thinking that the more he knew about her and vice versa the easier they could adjust to living with one another and acting like a couple in love in public. He let her go first because while he knew he’d have to do the same and he wasn’t a big fan of talking about himself or details about himself unless they were related to his work. “This is really good by the way, I’ve tried a lot of Chinese places, I don’t think I’ve had this before. Is it a new one?” His eyes casting another glance to her.
