The Moon, in 12H Libra - Squaring Mars-Mercury in Cancer and Neptune in Capricorn. Trine 8H Sol in Gemini

This is a personal interpretation of Luna based on my own chart. I was uuhhh under the influence while creating the sketch and didn’t judge the symbols that came to me at the time: shedding deer antlers, a curved blade, sand castles dissolving into the sea, a skull and chalice, a pendulum (that became the moon below,) spiders (Understood as the number of arms), owl. She holds a crystal ball that reflects the moon’s light. 

I originally wanted her to hold a lantern but took it out- Luna reflects light but does not produce her own. 

The scene below is self contained, Luna’s robes appearing like stage curtains around the world.

Thanks so much to my friend Heather for commissioning this piece. It was a blast to create. 

I was able to include everything she asked for, including opposite crowns (flower and bone, respectively.) All I could think was Persephone putting daisies in his hair, and here we are.

I'M BACK.

Long time, no see.

Going forward, 'Noumenon Does Art' is to be henceforth known as Obsidian Halo Art.

Two reasons for this: I see myself moving into a more "dark fantasy" direction. I still want to do mythological artwork, of course, but less historically accurate. Secondly, it more accurately reflects my personal identity.

I'm going to upload all my artwork that I've made in the last-- uuh, long time? Since I logged in last?-- it's a lot. But I think you'll like it, so forgive me for that.

I also updated all my contact info. Come follow me on twitter (It's a personal/art acct and where I'm most active nowadays.) Additional social media links in the bio (Many I'm just getting started/restarting.) I'm almost finished setting up my .com site, so that is an upcoming cool thing.

I'm trying to keep up with my art. I still have a full time job and am going back to school part-time (For web development, of all things.) so it's really been feast-or-famine for all my hobbies.
