For those who live in New York we’re surrounded by lights in every aspect of our lives. Yet we never think about how these lights are works of art. For a city that doesn’t see stars, these lights act as our stars. In my experience in the city and by looking at numerous pictures I placed the lights into 4 categories: 1) Light Tributes, 2) Decorations/Holiday Lights, 3) Everyday lights, and 4) Lights we use to communicate instead of words.
