Oh yeah also just a casual 300 pages long...

“All wings, line up behind me!” Anakin ordered, a path not yet formed opening up in his mind.

“Roger that, boss!” Broadside called, his trust complete, his faith unwavering.

Eyes falling half-closed, Anakin surrendered himself to instinct. Up, left, down, gently now.

It was peaceful, almost, the thick gas covering the electrical cries of the fighters like blankets, something primal and brand new singing to him deeper into the nebula - but that was not where his flock would be safe, and no matter how eye-wateringly beautiful that silent tune was, he would not follow it if it meant he would be leading them into danger.

Master Plo shouted about going beyond the nebula - Anakin could barely hear him over the song of the star-cradle and the roar of the star-eaters. 

It was peaceful, here, in the clouds, save for the panic of the others, the panic that drove him on despite how utterly calm he himself felt.

But as the clouds began to fade, so too did his trance, that melody leaving him as the voices of the others beckoned him back into his own skin as they broke through the final stretch of the nebula, into the quiet abyss beyond.

FINALLY finished chapter 2 of Arc 2! Only about... 5 to 15 more? I'm not sure, I'm covering episodes 1 - 9 of Season 1 of the show, but not all the episodes feature Anakin, and some of the episodes I'm covering in multiple chapters... Who knows! I'm making progress, is what I'm trying to say here :) Right now it's sitting at 5,327 words but I will inevitably make some changes/edits that will alter that count.

This poll doesn't really change anything fic-wise, I'm more so curious as to what type of wing you think Anakin has/should have. I think that falcon wings fit him thematically but I also really love the idea of him having loud ass powerful pigeon wings

Unfortunate news regarding the teased 10k word fic...

Yesterday I had made a post sharing the link to the new 10k fic I made for an event. Well, it turns out, I misunderstood the rules of the event and we weren't supposed to share our fics until the 4th of August. So, I decided to delete the fic and reupload it to the challenge where the work will be revealed on that date. Apologies for the confusion and for teasing you all with the fic, but rest assured it will still be released, just in a bit longer than originally anticipated!

The fic is part of an event, so I'm just awaiting some clarification regarding formatting, but the fic itself is completely written and is sitting at an even 10,000 words (love it when I do that). Tomorrow I will go over it again to ensure I did not miss anything and will make any last-minute edits as needed. Once I get the clarification, I will either be separating the work into 3 chapters or I will be posting it as one big one shot. Either way, expect to see the fic within the next few days, a week at the latest! I've spent the last two weeks working on this, so I really hope you guys will enjoy it :)

Soon? No, not really. I would like to, but unfortunately I have a lot on my plate right now and I also want to complete all of Arc 2 before I begin posting to avoid long waits between chapters, just like I did with Arc 1. I also want to try and get some of my smaller projects out of the way, too, so it will probably be a bit before Arc 2 releases, sorry.

Posting Chapter 16: Interlude on Monday or Tuesday because I'm going on a roadtrip!

Chapter 16 of Crown of Lazarus will be delayed until the 2nd or 3rd of June, as I will be travelling with my father.

Now, question for you all: since I had previously asked whether I should split up Arc 1 and Arc 2 into separate works and the answer was a pretty unanimous 'yes'...

This is fanart for Chapter 11 of the fanfic Crown of Lazarus by @numerousbees1106. Its such a good fic!! All my love to the author <3<3<3. (If you haven't read it before, you should! I highly recommend it, especially if you like Anakin and his bond with the 501st clones and Ahsoka.)
