Note, I am finding these threads on the twitter feeds of ICU nurses who are now dreading the horrors that Roe falling will bring to their hospitals. This, on top of the horrors that they’ve seen and continue to see because of the pandemic. They were already exhausted and hanging by a thread.

Tips for lazy witches
We all love our witchcraft but sometimes you’re just too tired to do some certain things so here is a list to help make a busy witches life a little easier.
• too exhausted to make a sigil? Go onto sigilscribe.me and it creates a perfect sigil for you all you need to do is charge it!
• if you wear glasses enchant them so when you wear them when your tired they will help your eyes more
• when casting a circle do it metaphorically instead of lying down crystals, stones, salt etc.
• use music lyrics if you are too tired to create a spell
• want to increase or decrease things? Stir tea clockwise (increase) anti-clockwise (decrease)
• enchant your bed on a good energy day so on a low energy day it may help
• make little pre-made ritual and spell kits/bags so when you need to preform something all your measured ingredients and supplies are already there
* Happy enchanting 🖤✨🌙

Kitchen Witchcraft For The Closeted (Or Not) Witch
This is one kind of magick where you don’t need any special “witchy” tools. You also don’t really need any super obvious displays of spellcasting. This is why I think it makes a wonderful branch of magick for closeted witches to explore, should they choose to do so.
For example, maybe you need an anti-anxiety spell or calming spell of some kind, you could of course make a simple chamomile tea for yourself, or you could make a batch of cupcakes infused with chamomile tea.
There are so many ways you could infuse your cooking with magick!
Lavender shortbread cookies for peaceful sleep, cinnamon buns for prosperity and healing, every herb, and spice has magickal correspondences and depending on what you need, you could whip up a spell for pretty much any occasion. And the best part is, its probably gonna taste incredible.
And of course while your making these recipes, focusing on you intent - whatever it may be - is important.
As you prepare your ingredients, take care to meditate on your intention, this is what will bring the spell to life.
My introduction to kitchen witchcraft came through a certain set of youtube videos, and since then I have been able to explore, and expand my horizons on the same. So, for anyone wishing to test the waters, I will direct you to the same videos that helped me get started.
The Green Witch on Youtube, has several videos on the subject that are beginner friendly. Her channel is also a good place to start if you are interested in herbalism. [ This post is in no way linked to her, I just wanted to give people a good jumping off point on the subject should they need it.]
And as always, anyone wishing to add to the post is welcome to! Also, if anyone has recipes they would like to share, that would be amazing! I’d love to be able to try out a few new magickal recipes!!!

Hello! Do you know of any witchy youtubers?
Hi, friend!! Watching witchy youtubers was something that really helped me when I was a fresh baby witch! I’ve got a list of the ones I watched when I was just beginning, to get you started! I’m gonna link to their channel and briefly describe what they’re videos are like in my personal opinion and how their videos can be helpful.
Disclaimer: THIS IS NOT A MASTERPOST
TipToeChick is a Wiccan witch, an herbalist, and a mother! Her advice and perspective seem to be very down to earth, in my opinion. She’s got a variety of videos, including magickal advice, cooking tutorials, meditation guides, and the occasional rant, because it’s good to just get that negative energy out of ya.
CharmingPixieFlora is also watched by many baby witches. She’s a pagan witch, a spiritual coach, a psychic, and a mother. She’s very love and light, in my opinion, but what she has to say is important, nonetheless. She brings up a lot of interesting points that I never would have thought of on my own. She’s got lots of DIYs, lots of general magickal advice, cooking videos, and show-and-tell videos!!
PaganPerspective is a collaborative channel made up of pagans! Each member posts their own videos about an array of topics, from organizing, ceremonial vs folk magick, the misconception of the Devil in Witchcraft, and tea magick! A lot of their videos are about paganism and not particularly witchcraft on its own, but their videos are still very informative!
TheShoeWhisperer is a Wiccan witch as well, witch a channel chock-full of exstensive videos about some fundamentals of paganism and witchcraft, such as how to cast a spell, cleansing, preparing for a ritual, and how to approach things when a spell doesn’t work.
Annika Garratt is a pagan witch and an artist! She’s got super-insightful and knowledge on witchcraft, paganism, and spiritual living alongside her tutorial videos and art videos! She has lots of basics videos, such as what paganism and witchcraft is, the different pagan holidays, information on the elements, and spiritually grounding yourself!
Tina Harris- She is known as the crystal whisperer and she has an abundance of correspondence videos! CORRESPONDENCE VIDEOS!!!! 90% of them are about her extensive knowledge of gems and such, but her most recently posted videos are about herbs and plants! Drink up the knowledge!
helpful tip: you can find lots of witchy youtubers by searching things such as “altar tour,”, witchy haul, or any witchy terms like samhain, book of shadows, or magick!
And sometimes I seriously consider starting up a youtube channel about my journey into cottage witchcraft ;D so stay tuned for that.

Simple Tricks for Cleansing Your Room
Smoke Cleansing: Formerly referred to as “smudging” (but should not be because that term referred to a specific Native American tradition and should not be appropriated) smoke cleansing is the most widely known form of home cleansing. One should take a bundle of dried sage or cedar and let it on fire until it is lit. Then, walk around the effected room or building spreading the smoke emanating from the bundle until the smoke has sufficiently permeated the air.
Saltwater Cleanse: A simple and effective form of cleansing in a pinch. Mix 1 part salt to 6 parts water (1:6 because the number 6 is considered to be “The Caretaker” in Numerology). This can be mixed in a bowl, cup, or even in a spray bottle for easy use. Spray/flick the saltwater in all of the corners of the room/house that you want to cleanse. It can also help to repeat a relevant chant or prayer while moving throughout the area.
Van Van Oil Home Cleansing: Wash down all of the wood work in and outside of the house with Van Van Oil mixed in water (also known as Chinese Wash). When you are finished, throw the remaining wash out the front door, facing East. Finish off by sweeping the house back to front with a brand new broom.
Herbal Cleansing Bottle: Get a large bottle. First, put in a sturdy sand bottom layer. Then, add in the following herbs in this order, one of top of the other; Rosemary, lemon peel, sage, cedar, black peppercorns, lavender, dill, bay leaf, and rowan. When the bottle is full, visualize your energy going into it. You should notice a slight yellow/golden glow when it is charged. Seal it fully and inscribe a pentagram or sigil of your choice on the bottle. Set it by a window and uncap and recharge every 6 months.
Home Purification Burn: Make your own incense out of dried Pine needles, Juniper, and Ceder (1 tbs of each). Grind ingredients together and burn them while reciting a chosen chant or prayer.
Candle and Salt Cleanse: Get a white candle and some salt. Put the candle in the center of the room that needs cleansing. Pour the salt in a circle around the candle and let it burn until it goes out.

Witchy Tip:
When you know you have a guest coming over, burn a white candle by your front door to purify and cleanse whatever energy your guest brings with them into your home. Your home and it’s inhabitants will thank you, and so will your guest!

HONESTLY. fuck you, John.
pov: you are the king undying
... and you recently manipulated a teenager into eating her only friend’s soul so she could level up her magic powers and join your team. at first she seemed fine, if miserable. but then Something Happened, and for weeks she did nothing but sleep, get sick, and pass out whenever you said her friend’s name (say “jacob”).
worse, her magic broke, and she’s now calling YOUR friend jacob “dylan” for some reason?? you are stuck on a space station with this kid for months. you
fucking ask her about it
use your boundless magical powers to investigate
assume it’s a grief thing and go along with it out of politeness
assume it’s a grief thing and go along with it out of politeness, but also ask jacob to make repeated attempts on her life in case it fixes anything ☑️

I think this is blasphemy...but I’m gay and I’m here for it.
*hits necrobong* so if we’re talking about catholicism and religion in the locked tomb wouldnt gideon (being god’s daughter) technically be a butch jesus and her suicide to save harrow was the equivalent of the crucifixion of christ and her coming back at the end of htn counts as the resurrection
