Today is a sad day. Every year, it's our duty to remember all the innocent people who lost their lives 19 years ago. These horrible events shouldn't be forgotten, but we are incredibly proud of our society that kept on living and being open to the world. May those who died rest in peace, their friends and family live long, happy lives, and may it never happen again.

In an age when technology allows us to teach, learn, and stay close to one another in a virtual environment, advocating for school re-opening - with such energy - is unnecessary.
