“I’m about as clueless as you are.” 

Nobelium shrugged in response to the girl and continued to watch as the rock was lifted out of the hole. She was still new to the city and didn’t know much about its history, (though she could care less about it to be truthfully honest) but it seems that the rock being lifted out of a hole was a rather aged tradition considering the confused expressions of the teenagers in the crowd. It was weird to see the adults and elderly watch in awe as the rock was being lifted. Somewhere in the background some old man was preaching about the ‘good ol’ days.’

“I’m sure there are better places for two girls like us to be at. Don’t you think? I think they’re selling charm bracelets at those little stands over there, I’ll be excusing myself now.” Though it was incredibly vague, she was inviting the girl to tag along with her.

This city was really strange beyond her comprehension. After the two weird masked people disappeared, Chtholly continued to stare at the huge hole, as well as the rock which was being lifted up carefully. Many questions wandered in her head, but she felt she was the only confused person here.

“Um, what’s this rock for?”

She asked to a female who happened to stand beside her, watching the rock being carefully lifted from the hole.

Nobelium snickered in response to her coworker’s grown, though she agreed as well, it felt like the soles of her feet were about to fall off at any second now. Lunch rushes were always the worse, especially the lack of business that occurs after. Usually she took it upon herself to sweep up the floors or clean the windows when that happened. However, her coworker’s sudden question caught her off guard.

"Modern fun?”

  Granted, her's and Nuriko's fun could be vastly different. Based on first impressions, she seemed to be a pretty, wholesome girl who's probably kind of old fashioned considering she referred to her as a 'modern person.'    “Well, sometimes I go to Alucard’s, y’know that bar around the corner? The owner is a brother of the Boss, so sometimes I get 15% off my tab when I go there. I’ve been there with Boss a couple of times.. They have really nice roasted pistachios there. If not then... The Baabary is good too, I like their lunch sets and Sheephead Port has nice sushi too..”

  Embarrassingly enough though, all she ever did was eat, sleep and have the occasional drink. It took her a moment to think of a reasonable and respectful answer for the girl. “The shopping malls around here aren’t so bad either. Granted a lot of them sell sheep orientated fashion, but you can some cute clothes if you really look. I’d also check out the Merino thrift store, they have cute accessories there for really cheap and the owner is super nice to girls.” She ran her hand through her apron pocket and pulled out a pair of tickets, a ‘tip’ of sorts that a customer left behind for her. Apparently it was one of those ‘one in a life time’ viewings that everyone had to see.   “There’s also a water show going on tonight though, take a friend with you. I was planning on checking it out, but I think you could put them to better use.”

“Haaahh…what a day,” Nuriko groaned as she sank into a nearby seat. She was exhausted, and she was certainly no stranger to hard work. After all, she’d traveled so much with the other warriors as they gathered around Miaka. All of the battling as well. But a packed cafe? That was something else entirely. 

But she needed a job, at least, so it was only natural. At least she wouldn’t be like Tamahome, jumping at every chance for money. “Say,” she began, turning her head to look at her co-worker. “What do you modern people do for fun?” 

In hindsight, she probably should have worded it differently but, well. She wasn’t the most subtle sometimes.

"Yeah, this was the kind of rock festival I was expecting the LEAST."

Now who looks weirder, the people worshipping a rock on the corner of the street or the 22 year old woman who showed up completely dressed in leather and metal.

Spring time party! ♪

Upon the arrival of a new day, you find that once again, the city has been transformed. The streets are decorated with cute lamps hanging from strings, colourful flag lines from building to building, and sunflowers anywhere you can think of. The iconic flower is shown everywhere; in vases behind windows and as patterns on all sorts of goods in stores. If you planned to buy anything sunflower-themed, it seems like now is your chance.

Along all the vibrant decorations however, you notice there’s something… Off. Wait, was that rock there before? Uhm, hold on. There’s significantly more rocks down this road than you remember being there before. Are these also part of the decorations..? (The answer being, that they have always been there, but now they actually strike out as relevant.)

Walking through the decorated Buckanan Street, you eventually find yourself end up at a market square. It is completely covered in picnic blankets and old thin cloths of various sizes and colours, both sheep and people sitting by them as they try to sell off all their old items and junk for as cheap as you can go. 

A cordoned off area has several sheep in old-fashioned farmer’s clothing running around with large boards with big piles of cheese wheels on them, trying to see who can move the most cheese from one end to the other the fastest. An ewe in a cute old-fashioned dress and hat is carrying around a plate of cheese samplers, and several stands are scattered about, selling sweet-smelling snacks.

Looks like the whole city is caught in festival-mode… this promises to be an exciting time for all who are involved.

1: What does their bedroom look like?

Nobelium is a TRASHY and lazy girl, so her room’s a mess.Ironically the rest of her apartment is clean, but her bedroom is a whole other world.Clothes and random scraps of paper litter the ground, her bed doesn’t even have a bedsheet on it (though frankly, she prefers sleeping on the couch) and the wallpaper was literally peeling off of the walls.Also, the smell is from 900 different baabreeze air fresheners.

It wasn’t really her fault since she was never really home. She always thought to herself that she’d get around to doing something about it some day, but she knew damn well that that “some day” would never come.

Anyone know any maid services? Hook her up.

Breaking promising, having to lie or doing anything to hurt someone’s trust in her. Nobelium’s the type of person to trust her friends no matter what, so she wants people to feel the same way too.

31: Most prized possession?

She doesn’t have it anymore unfortunately, but it was a recording of the first rock concert she went to.It was recorded on a shitdroid and burned onto a CD, as you expected the quality is trash, but it was something she always wanted to remember.(sometimes if she couldn’t sleep, she’d let it play repeatedly while she slept)

25. How did you handle your first ‘i hate you’?

Honestly, it didn’t turn out well.It started off as petty one-sided drama over something trivial and ended with two girls in the hospital.Fingers were pointed and shallow insults were thrown around, but it was Nobelium that threw the first punch.It took their entire friend group to break up the fight and a handful of friends to take her side of the stupid situation.

“She was a really good friend, but she let some bozo get between us. Some great friends we were, huh?”
