I finished my first commission piece today. He wanted a tiefling with an aesthetic inspired by Will Ramos of Lorna Shore. He loved the finished product! 🤘

Hello! I've only been painting for about 8 months, so I'm still learning. But I can definitely try to give you some good advice!

The first thing I can say is that I have an arsenal of brushes, everything from Army Painter to art store brushes to makeup brushes. Right now, my go-to is Army Painter's Warpainter: Kolinsky Masterclass brush. I use Elf eyeshadow brushes for dry brushing and they work beautifully. They're also really affordable.

My second tip would be to have lights from a few different angles in your paint space. I have one to my left and one to my right. It helps me see any spots I may have missed.

My third tip is that when painting finicky little details like eyes, it helps me to keep the wrist of the hand holding my brush against the edge or on the surface of my desk. I have shakey hands so it helps me keep them steady.
