Darren’s older brother, Cameron, takes over the family business after their father was killed when the brothers were in their late teens. Since Cameron was already being groomed to take over, he fast tracked college so he could step in as CEO as soon as possible. He devoted most of his professional life to Simmons Tech, so he never really took time for himself to start up a family or anything. He dated, but it was never anything that stuck, mostly just one-time dates to events and galas that got plastered all over tabloids. He told himself he’d eventually get around to marrying and kept putting it off.

THAT IS until in his early forties when he meets Rachel Fenton (AKA Johnny’s mom)! Rachel Fenton arranged to meet Cameron at an event to discuss a business deal with her weapons tech front. She really wanted to use him to get to his money, be it seducing him and figuring out how to get into his bank accounts, or marrying and offing him (nothing new to her). Once she actually met him in person though, she realized he was extremely charming and someone she could let her guard down around. She had no intention of falling for him, but she did, and hard–as did Cameron with her. They have a whirlwind romance and get married three months later, much to everyone’s surprise. What Cameron doesn’t know about his new wife is that she’s a) the owner of a lucrative arms dealing business, and b) an assassin for hire who is very good at her job, hence the joke of the pic!

Personally I think that battle sims like showdown would still be a thing in the pokemon world. Cuz like picture this: you are ten years old and the only Pokémon you have access to is the elderly family Sunflora. You love Sunny to death but also literally every media you consume involves Pokémon battles and champions and cool ass fights. Sunny is too old to fight and your neighbor’s Gothita is too young. One day on the playground your friend tells you about this cool website that lets you battle pokemon on the computer. Later that night you boot up the family computer and instantly realize that this website lets you play as GROUDON (!!!!). There’s no going back from there.
