How long has it been since Aiden cried into anyone’s arms? Days? Weeks? Months? Years? Whatever it was, this broke your heart.

Aiden’s hand holding yours tightly, as if you might disappear the moment he lets go. His body shaking as well.

You noticed his eyes prickling with tears, tears that he tried his hardest to hold back, trying to blink them away.

Every word he said, it sounded as if he was nervous. His voice wasn’t quivering, no. He’s a strong guy, he knows how to handle his composure despite his chaotic personality but still, you want him to let it all out.

“Aiden, there's nothing to be ashamed of. It's okay to cry, it doesn't make you any less. In fact, it shows how human and real you are. Please, let it out. I promise, I won't judge you. You can vent to me anytime, I'll be here for you.”

That was all he needed, to be told, to be held, to be comforted.

At every sob he let out, it felt like shards of a broken glass stabbing your heart. It wasn’t an over-excessive cry to say the least, but definitely a cry.

You held him close, his head resting on your shoulder.

Aiden’s hands were rapidly clawing at your clothes, eventually putting it to a stop and tightly wrapped his arms around you’re waist.

Your hands moved to massage his head and whispering sweet soothings into his ear, placing a kiss on his forehead as you pat his back.

You held his hand tightly as the other wrapped around him.

Aiden eventually calmed down, the past ten to fifteen were of him just letting his emotions out. He was now calm enough to speak his mind.

“Well, ahah…this’s a tinsy bitsy akward…lol.” Said Aiden, sniffing a bit as you hand him a tissue that he uses to wipe his tears away.

A tick mark appearing in your forehead since the tissue was supposed to be for his stuffy nose, not his eyes. Pushing your wants aside, you need to be there for him.

Aiden sighed, “where do I even begin…? I feel so out of character, it’s a mega mind meme moment-”

“Aiden, be serious…please?” You asked, sternly.

“I uh…I was um, suicidal in the past..sometimes I still can’t help but wanna cut myself? I dunno..” It was quite obvious that Aiden was awkward about this, but he was definitely trying to be genuine about this.

it’s been a while since Fuyumi has adopted you. She was always busy with work and other things you did not need to know but she still made room for you, but half of the time it’s either your uncle Natsuo, Shoto or your grandpa babysitting you. Usually ends up with Natsuo. You’ve visited your grandma at the hospital one too many times and you wonder why she’s there, she isn’t hurt or anything right?

You were currently in school playing with your friends until your teacher made an announcement “ok everyone! Y/n will be leaving early today so say your goodbyes!” The teacher beamed, all that was heard were ‘awes’ and ‘bummer’ and ‘lucky…’ eventually everyone got over their little tantrums and said their goodbyes. You were guided towards the office as Fuyumi came in sight, you ran towards her wrapping your arms around her torso with your head buried in her stomach and you felt soft hands touch your head as you looked up making eye contact with Fuyumi “Hi mom! How was work?” You say excitedly. She smiled at you as she ruffled your hair “Y/n, sweetie! Can you give me a few minutes?” “Ok!”

Time passed by and Fuyumi was done talking with the staff. Both of you got in the car as you questioned“Mom, why did you pick me up from school early?” Fuyumi smiled at you again. “Well~ I though maybe me and my cute precious daughter can have a day out with just the two of us!” There were stars in your eyes showing you were indeed excited but you also got embarrassed at her statement of ‘my cute precious daughter’ “mom!!!” Fuyumi giggled as it seemed time passed by so fast that you two were already at your destination. Fuyumi and you got out of the car and we’re walking towards the play ground.

“Ahah! Mom come play with me!” You tugged at Fuyumi’s shirt wanting her to go down the slide with you. “Ok! Ok!” The both of you giggled as you were placed onto her lap, you put your arms in the up as you and Fuyumi slid down “WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! Let’s go again!”

Now both of you were getting ice cream.

“Y/n which one do you want?” Fuyumi said pointing to a bunch of popsicle flavours displayed onto the ice cream truck. “I want chocolate!” “One chocolate ice cream with sprinkles please!” You beam at the fact that she remembers you like ice cream with sprinkles “alright one chocolate ice cream coming right up! Anything for you ma’am?” You proceed to chant the word ‘chocolate’ as the other two speak. “Ah! Yes I would like vanilla if it’s not a bother!” “One vanilla ice cream coming right up!” Fuyumi paid for the ice creams and you guys went for a short walk.

“This is the best day every!!!” You laughed and Fuyumi joined in the laughing with you. “Be careful with your ice cream! It’s melting!” Fuyumi said as she wiped your mouth with a tissue as you just smiled towards her.

Both of you were finally back home as you were being carried in Fuyumi’s arms “mom?” Fuyumi hummed in response. “Can we ever go out like this again someday?” You say getting sleepy by the time Fuyumi responded you were fast asleep. She giggled and kissed your forehead “of course.”

It was currently morning as the Tokito twins just finished their missions. They stopped by a small stand where their was an old man selling treats ���Nii-san let’s buy some of those!” Muichiro said pointing at the stand full of treats “We can’t, we need to save our yen for a full meal.” “But Nii-san!!!” He whined as Yuichiro sighed. “Fine, just don’t come asking for my food when your hungry.” He said sternly making sure to raise his tone at the ‘my’ “don’t worry Nii-san! I’d never eat your food because I don’t want you hungry!” Yuichiro gave some yen to his brother as he watched Muichiro run off to the stand, after a few minutes of waiting patiently Muichiro came back. They continued their walk as they were near their destination.

The twins were currently at a ramen shop as Yuichiro gobbled down on his ramen, his brother Muichiro was sleeping and eventually Yuichiro finished his meal. Yuichiro shakes his brother awake as Muichiro stirred awake.

Muichiro blinked as he stared at his brother for a good 10 seconds until he rubbed his eyes. Muichiro groaned and stared at his brother in disgust “Muichiro stop looking at me like that!” Yuichiro said as he bonked Muichiro’s head “stfu you dumb excuse of a human.” “…I’m gonna kill you.” “Tell me what is a donkey ugly bitch ass lookin stupid woman like you gonna do to me?” Yuichiro deadpanned as Muichiro threw the empty bowl of ramen on the ground and suddenly the owner came out that he was gay and proceeded to scold the younger twin.

“do you ever shut up? This is why you get no hoes lmfao, small pp bald ass bitch” Yuichiro’s face dusted with pink because of embarrassment. “You gozzamn useless ass of a manwhore who can’t even get hoes lol lmao so embarrassing” said Muichiro as Yuichiro’s right hand went to grip his brothers left shoulder and he whisper-shouted in Muichiro’s ear “Muichiro! Shut up! Let’s just go back to our estate!” Muichiro immediately whipped his head towards Yuichiro “your telling me that I live with you!? This is ridiculous!” He said stubbornly.

“How can I! I the one and only live with a mint flavoured with some chocolate ice creamed hair!!!! Muichiro grumbled as Yuichiro deadpanned again “we look the same.” Yuichiro said losing his patience. Yuichiro looked towards the owner who was absolutely frozen, Yuichiro took a fistful of his brothers hair and ran towards their estate dragging Muichiro as he flailed around.

The twins arrived to their estate as Yuichiro slammed his brother to the ground knocking him out, Yuichiro let out a sigh and he dragged his brothers body to their room. Yuichiro set up two futons and once again slammed his brothers body onto the futon.

Muichiro POV

I groaned as I woke up, I put my left hand on my head only to be met with a slap. I blinked a few times taking in my surroundings as the first person I see is my brother “Nii-san! Why did you slap me!!!” I whined but I didn’t receive an answer, now looking clearly at Yuichiro’s face. It was an unrecognizable expression “I’M GONNA KILL YOUUUUUUUU” oh…it seems it’s gonna be a long day huh…I mentally embraced myself knowing what’s coming.

A sob echoed in the room, “I’m so worthless..!” As you continued to slash your arms with your sword. “I can’t believe I disappointed him!” You’ve been so clumsy all day, bumping and breaking things on accident and all the blame went to Muichiro. You remember the disappointed look on his face as your sobs echoed through the mist estate.

You heard some creaking and you looked towards the shoji only to be met with a shocked expression. “Tokito-san I-“ you tried to say something only to be embraced in a hug, “Why?..Why would you do this to yourself?!” He says with a slight hint of anger, you were a bit shocked to say the least, it was very out of character for him to say something like this.

You unable to utter a word, broke down in his arms. “I’m sorry! I’m sorry!” “Hey..calm down..deep breaths, deep breaths…” you did as he told and you eventually calmed down, blood got over his uniform but he didn’t seem to mind it and he took out what seemed to be bandages. You’ve also noticed his facial expression reverted back to the usual but you can see a saddening glint in his eyes.

“Do you care to explain why your doing this?” He asked calmly as he wrapped the bandages around your arm, you sniffled “I’m sorry! I kept messing things up and all the blame went to you!” you said with a shaky tone, “people blamed me? Hm..I must have forgot” you closed your eyes and took deep breaths and by the time you opened them Muichiro was already done.

“You won’t train tomorrow, i’ll also send a letter to Oyakata-sama to let him know not to give you any missions until you’ve healed.” “Tokito-san, I’m sorry but I must refuse-“ “you dare try to disobey a hashira?” You sigh knowing no matter what you say he won’t listen. “..alright” you mumbled. “Good. I have a futon set up in my room, you’ll be sleeping with me today.” “Tokito-san! I am truly greatful for this but I would not like to disrespect your privacy-“ he gave you a look which instantly shut you up.

“it’s Muichiro to you.” “Now get moving or do I have to carry you?” He said bluntly, you were left flustered thinking about it and you were brought back to reality as Muichiro flicked your forehead.

Muichiro tugged on your hand as he tightly held it “let’s go.” “Tokit- Muichiro-san! What about the mess?!” You looked down at the floor as it was a pool of your own blood “the kakushi’s will clean it.” Before you let out a word of protest Muichiro was already dragging you to his room, you sighed but also let out a small smile knowing your relationship with the hashira seemed to have gotten stronger.
