While everyone is jumping to make sure a trans woman abuser stays out of the scene let’s not forget about all the cis BROS and cis women who have abused ppl in the scene and are still touring twice a year and selling records and having teen kids wear their shirts and pins without anyone stepping in to tell them that the creative minds behind that merchandise also think it’s okay to capitalize on their popularity while the voices of their victims are getting drowned out by the sounds of their tiny desk concerts and stereogum premieres
