Are Astarion and Nievan polyamorous in your stories/headcanon/universe? (I don’t know what to call it lmao)

Because I just found your instagram and I’m not very familiar with the story but I did see some of the art featuring Astarion , Niev and some other people here and there, so I’m just curious.

Yes!

in my head the universe in which Nievan exists also includes Hyacinth (my half-drow resist durge paladin) and they meet along the way to Baldur’s Gate. While Hya primarily romances Halsin, they and Nievan are casual lovers on the road before either of them get with their respective partners. also in my head exists an AU where Hya and Halsin find Niev and Astarion again years after the events of the game and they all end up living together out of necessity and then just… stay like that. Nievan has kids with both Astarion and Hyacinth (Fern and Wisteria, the latter of whom I just realized I never really introduced over here) and they’re one big messy (but very happy) family.

The other AU (and the one I’m guessing you’ve seen more of) is one where Astarion and Nievan are both with Maeth, who is @nesvann ‘s tiefling durge. Here’s some doodles of the three of them being silly and happy together (they make my heart melt) 🫶🏼🫶🏼
