I have not been able to stop thinking about her ever since I saw this design. I took some liberties with the outfit, giving her more of a sports bra and biker shorts and a sleeve (I am not sure if it is a sleeve or haki, I am running with it)

That guy makes his entire life about hating a fictional couple. He’s not worth listening to.

I don't even care about Nalu but I hate that kind of post. As a fanfiction writer, it's disheartening to receive such a comment. Ik not everyone is going to like my fanfiction/ship but there are some fucking tags, why doesn't he use them instead of pissing off people posting on their damn favorite ships? Or, don't you like the plot? Scroll on, it's not hard.

Absolutely! Even though it hasn't been long since I've started writing and I acknowledge many flaws in my fics, it's really disheartening to see people being rude about it. And the fact that he was directly mentioning the blog and the writer for writing about their favorite ship. It was so impudent of him and then he justifies that he made a good point? How is insulting someone about their creations is making a point?

One thing 100YQ and FT in general does right is HER

OMG!! This is the best chapter ever!! LUCY RISING!!

What I like about this panel the most is the fact that...

Lucy remembers all the first and most important conversations she had with each member of team Natsu.

Natsu saying that she's the Lucy of FT in the Phantom Lord arc, Lucy hugging him after his E.N D. Battle with Gray in Alveraze arc.

Gray telling Lucy is also in the beginning of the series while the second scene is from Alveraze arc as well when Gray tells Lucy that he still considers all of them as friends (never thought this will come back as such a strong callback)

Everyone helping Erza when she was going through so much in the Tower of Heaven arc and the second one is Erza and Lucy teaming up in Alveraze arc where they encounter Brandish and Jacob later.

(Lucy and Erza share a lot of braincell now that I think about it)

The last one with Wendy is one of the more notables, Lucy and Wendy giving Natsu a hand against Hades, Lucy and Wendy against Jacob in the Tartaros arc and then the final Wendy is from the final Alveraze arc after they all meet at the guild hall.

And it is so touching as readers to remember all of this!

Our Girl's reached a Whole New Level

That's right Lucy. You deserve that break. Breathe in that sigh of relief.

This is more than just Lucy being one of my favourite characters. This right here is fantastic character development. A well written character who accepts herself for who she is, accepts her flaws, takes pride in her disdain for violence and pushes herself to fight amidst adversity when she knows she needs to. Lucy's always been like this. These aren't any new characteristics of hers.

But what's new is her growing confidence in her ability to fight and stand up for herself. Over the 100 years quest, she's gained and found confidence she's never had before. ( She was always confident but this is on a whole other level. ) She's gradually and efficiently combining her high level intellect and fighting prowess to gain the upper hand amongst seriously powerful enemies. That's development. Believing she's got what it takes to not only protect herself, but not drag the team down. She's always done what she could to protect her teammates but now, I see her capable of protecting her friends without her having to get hurt in the process...by fighting......and that's a real sight to see for me as a reader.

Mimi I love you for showing your respect as a fellow opponent. Lucy needed that.

And obviously, her beating 'ugly's face' was all it took to put a large devilish smile on my face. SUCK IT YOU STUPID, ANNOYING AS HELL CONDESCENDING B!T$H. That's right. The girl you thought would be your next plaything whooped yo a$$. HARD.

Also Laxus' proud face :'). He is a GREAT character. He cares equally for all his guildmates and I love how he openly displays it....so vastly different from how he was so long ago. He'd make an amazing guild master. Maybe Erza and Laxus could work as Co-Guild-Masters? That would be an interesting concept.

Y'all remember this? Yeah. She was a bad a$$ then and she sure as hell is now too.
