What Happened to Open World Games?
Open world games used to be scrappy and fun. There was often something silly about them; if games like Halo 3 were comparable to a meal at a Michelin restaurant, games like Prototype were more comparable to a really good frozen pizza. And it’s maybe time that the industry tried to redirect open world games back towards that mentality, instead of trying to create lobsters that take 90 hours to eat. - SabrinaTVBand

The Gender Minefield of Ranma 1/2’s Greatest Filler Episode
When I hear cisgender allies talk about Ranma ½, it’s not unusual to hear them say “I’m not sure an anime like this could be made today”, with some comments about how some of the gender-related content may come off as objectionable, specifically for trans people. I appreciate that these people care, but I also lament how cis people generally have no idea what trans people enjoy or find offensive. Ranma’s Declaration of Womanhood is, perhaps, an object lesson in how it will probably always be impossible for a cisgender audience to understand the difference. - SabrinaTVBand
