Who: Folks who began HRT after the age of 18 and have been on it for 2+ years

What: Participate in a 1 hour individual or group interview about your experiences in the initial 2 years after beginning hormones (HRT/GAHT)

When: Appointments scheduled at your convenience in October of 2024

Where: Individual sessions can be in person in central CT or on Zoom. Group interviews will take place in central locations in CT.

Why: By sharing your experiences, mental health providers can better understand the needs of folks in the early stages of accessing hormone therapy (GAHT/HRT).

As a brown trans boy it sucked so badly to watch those “gender envy” slides on tik tok and see only white boys with fluffy hair. I wanted to share with you all a project I am working on. I am working on an Academic Anthology on Black Trans Life that would center Black trans narratives in our own voices. Doing research in our black trans ancestors, their stories weren’t able to be told from their perspectives; this is why I want to change that for us. This project is looking for creative submissions from Black trans folks whether it be short stories, poetry, drawings, photography, etc. for the publication of this book.

Hey, I'm a queer black enby who desperately needs to get an abortion, but literally can't due to my state's (idaho's) restrictive bullshit abortion laws. I'm mentally ill and have a part time remote job, but can't hold more hours. my roommate/friend is a trans person with a full time remote job, so fortunately we can stay employed out of state. but with mounting bills and the soaring cost of living we need some extra help with being able to move to oregon.

Hi all, I'm just making a new pinned post.

This blog is a place for three trans prisoners to share their experiences. We started when Jaina and Ashley were unfairly punished and we asked the community for help. You can read more about that here. Now Jaina, Ashley, and Pharaoh are sharing their experiences and art here.

Jaina (she/her) is a trans woman with a passion for writing, dungeon and dragons, Rick and Morty, and crafting creative boxes out of items she can get in prison. She and Ashley have unofficially adopted each other as sisters.

Ashley (she/her) is also a trans woman who runs the D&D games (as well as pathfinder), plays Magic the Gathering (with playing cards that have the MtG card text written on them, a popular game at the prison), draws, paints, and loves video games. Check out her deviant art here.

Pharaoh (they/them) is a gender nonconforming person who loves drawing, painting, gardening, drag, and motorcycles. They cook meals for the three of them with what the three of them can purchase with their limited funds. You can purchase Pharaoh's art at enbywerewolf's etsy store.

My friend Mads needs help funding top surgery!

They’ve been working towards this for several years, working multiple jobs including manual labor and picking up side work whenever possible. I honestly don’t know anyone working as much as Mads. But cost of living is just too high to save any meaningful amount, and they’ve run into problems with insurance multiple times during the process

They’re trying to crowdsource enough for meds and the required time off work, but the initial surgery cost ($10,000) is due in approximately 3 weeks!
