Games
I admit I have an addiction. :)
They are just way too much fun to give up though. You get the satisfaction of completing or competing in something that you wouldn't get to do in real life. They provide insane challenges or appeal to interest or activity you may be looking for. You can get a rush from beating that difficult boss.
I'll take them over playing a sport any day. Don't get me wrong though, I do like being active but I fulfill that with work and other ventures. There are a few other activities that I wouldn't pass on too ;)
On that note, I am taking a brief break from Dark Souls to get in a little time with DMC4..whole 10th anniversary of the start of the series and all. I would put it on the hardest level but since my previous PS3 yellow lighted me after many years of service I am starting everything over on a new one. The old one will be fixed though because I miss my backwards compatibility.
