this is gonna sound mean but I cannot stand other trans folks who are so bogged down in their dysphoria and self hate and resentment that they refuse to feel joy, and they deride other trans folks for feeling happiness and euphoria in their gender especially for minor or "cringy" things

trans people that mock the "skirt go spinny 💕" trans girls. trans people that make fun of trans men that listen to cavetown or like to draw big jagged top surgery scars. things that are harmless and bring small joy. the only people who would genuinely mock these kinds of things are people that are so miserable and see no happiness in their existence that they need to make fun of someone else for being happy to settle this discomfort.

being trans is hard but it's all about making yourself happy. even small and maybe embarrassing or childish things. you deserve to be happy too

I love how varied and universally weird the circumstances for making lifelong friendships are. Here's this guy I accidentally messaged once and I could not imagine my life without them now. Here's this girl I was so scared of when I met her, I would kill for her and remind her to rest on the regular. Here's this other guy we have so much in common we used to joke we were the same person in different timelines. It took us years to meet in person and I attended his wedding. There are also people who entered my life in absolutely unremarkable ways but changed it forever for the better. It's wonderful how easy it is to find people to love.

I think we’re at an excellent time for me to mention that I’ve been working on a series lately 😄

50 types of kisses that tell the story of Buffy and Giles.

A series of domestic “slice of the Slayer (and Watcher) life” stories set Post-Series. I took a random list of 50 different types of kisses, and challenged myself to use every one within a cohesive storyline. I also include 50 different songs that all have the word “kiss” in their titles.
