Hello, fellow DTA lovers. I've created a document with every reoccurring theme in the series that I could find (fuck yourself, I win, birth to death, etc). It also has an Obscure Characters page (not finished) with summaries on, mostly, the Romans. I'm also currently adding a favorite quotes/scenes tab, which is mostly for me, but I figure some of yours may be on there as well. While I won't be adding other people's favorites to it, if I missed any themes or scenes that should be within them, please let me know - in a comment on the doc, as I likely won't see comments here. In the future, I may also be adding tabs for all the plot lines, but that's not certain. Please read the note in the first tab before perusing as it has some important information. Judges' comments: "It was a raw take on season 6 and the dark topic woven throughout. But Zombiesam did an excellent job of harnessing the dark topics of the season and weaving it throughout this story. Giles' pain was tangible at various points throughout. I think Zombiesam managed to capture the emotional complexities of what Giles was going through quite well. The underlying love he had for Buffy was obvious, but one could understand why he was reluctant to tell her. Several scenes made me emotional. The pain he was feeling, consumed with the vengeance of a spirit whose sole desire was to protect the one they love. I loved the parable of Giles' devotion and love for Buffy, and how it fed off of their mutual struggle to deal with the emotional ramifications of Buffy's resurrection and their growing feelings."

Judges' comments: "This is a rather interesting take on the events of Buffy's depression, especially given its reinvention of canon events. Giles providing Buffy with a stable and safe outlet to her inner turmoil is raw and often arousing. The mounting tension of their feelings for one another keeps you invested when you analyse their interactions during these intimate encounters with one another. It places Giles in an interesting light and makes you think about what could have been had Buffy turned to him for the darker impulses she experienced during season 6. Guin_Ramble and Zombiesam created a thought-provoking narrative place Buffy in a situation with Giles where she needed to trust him implicitly."

Judges' comments: "This was a fun take on Giles' everlasting good looks. I enjoyed the effort that went into creating an elaborate story for Giles' often elusive past. It was entertaining to see the events unfold and Giles' reaction to Buffy undertaking a dangerous quest to spend the rest of her life with him. Cosmic_Cowgirl created a fun story that isn't too reliant on canon events to make it work."

man supernatural might be bad but also ill be damned if thats not the most american show ever. like theres movies and tv that've tried to be this american but 99% have failed. you watch a particularly good episode of supernatural and suddenly you feel the hours of highway winds against your skin and theres more asphalt road than livable terrain for miles and you eat the best meal of your life at a pit stop and you havent gone to church since you were a kid but you still think about praying sometimes and you split a 6 pack with someone you love and a few too many people around you have guns and the land around you is so big when youre right in the center of it you feel like it could swallow you up and you know for a fact theres an unimaginable amount of mythology just beneath the surface. and then you watch the next episode where sam kills paris hilton or something
