A 10hrs workshop on "Financial Investment in Securities markets and Mutual funds" was conducted by Kotak Securities in association with NISM on 8th and 9th Jan 2022 at Narayana Business School. The workshop enlightened students on topics like investment, mutual funds ,capital markets and securities in secondary market.Students were also given an overview on career building in capital market. Mr.Ashwani Gupta created awareness of personal finance framework along with pre-requisites of investing in financial markets and risk involved while investing in the same. Overall,the workshop was extremely informative and aided the students in enhancing their knowledge. 'Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships' To cap off the sports week on a high note, Narayana Business School hosted a blockbuster screening of the film 83. The film was about reminiscing about the days when the entire country came together to pay tribute to the Greatest of All Time, Mr. Kapil Dev. The movie undoubtedly taught the students some amazing leadership lessons and sportsmanship, which they will apply in the corporate world. On 8th December 2021 students from Narayana Business School had the opportunity to have @anmolmodi13 as a Guest speaker. His session on "Introduction to Practical Exposure in International Business.", indeed gave a practical insight through the SPANCO technique into the basics of International Business. As a result, the students gained insights into the international market and how to connect with the real people behind the business. He shared his knowledge on the status of India in the international market which he supported with statistical data. Furthermore, he made the session very interactive by engaging the students in interesting activities. It was wonderful to have him as a mentor for our students, and we are looking forward to having similar sessions in the future.
