I'm a 20 year old girl from Melbourne, Australia and recently I've made some big lifestyle changes. This blog is a way for me to document the highs, the lows and the things that motivate me. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I am not trained in any health field but I do love helping people based on my own experiences. SW: 90kg. CW: 70kg. GW: 62kg.

Thinking of doing this with a friend. Anyone done it before and want to share their experience? :)

This is a sort of reminder of my progress for when I'm having my next bad/gross/insecure day. The photo on the left is from my high school graduation where I weighed around 90kg, the one on the right is from last night, 71kg.

Going grocery shopping is probably the most motivating of things if you do it right. I always get really excited thinking about new, healthy food I can have for different meals of the day when I'm walking through the aisles.

Today has been great.
I've eaten well and had a great work out! Nothing like a little Beyonce, Destiny's Child and Kanye to get your blood pumping.
Hope everyone else had a good day too! :)

On another note...
It's 11:40pm, I have uni early tomorrow morning and I've spent the past hour watching work out videos from TheLeanMachine's on YouTube. It's made me really motivated to work out so I can't wait to get to the gym tomorrow.
If you haven't heard of these guys, check them out. They do a bunch of really great workouts for all different types of people with different goals and capabilities. Plus, they have english accents and are good looking so I mean you really can't lose.

Ah I was a bit impatient! That's awesome to hear!! Very awesome work that you have been putting off those temptations too :)
Hahaha thank you! I haven't been a saint when it comes to saying no to junk food and stuff like that, but I definitely could have been worse!

Update, update, milestone [exaggeration?]!
So once again, it's been a while! I hope everyone is doing well and staying motivated, especially if you're currently in Australia's winter as I am.
I just finished my mid-year uni holidays and was aiming to get in the 60's by the time I started school again... But I had forgotten that with holidays comes the alcohol-filled nights out, the lunch/dinner dates, the movie nights in with probably every junk food you could possibly imagine. I wasn't eating horribly, but not well enough to lose weight. I don't really mind though because it was fun and nice to just relax and now I think I'm ready to get back into it.
But this milestone that I alluded to in the title, are you ready?
The other week I wore a bikini. As in, a two piece bathing suit without wearing a t-shirt over top, or a pair of shorts over my bottoms. I literally can't even remember the last time I did that. Don't get me wrong, I was still quite self-conscious and I probably wouldn't actually wear it to the beach. I've mentioned before how my stomach is the area I'm most self-conscious about since it's where I store most of my fat, so wearing a bikini is crazy for me. But I was at a spa with my best friends and thought hey, who better to wear a bikini in front of then the people who I know won't judge me for what I look like. So I did, and it felt good even if it did feel a bit scary.
But that leads me to my final point- summer! Wearing a bikini made me realise how great it will be in a few months when it's beach/pool weather. I'm going away with one of my best friends to Queensland and I'm just so excited. I'm going to buy a cute bikini and feel great and I'm so looking forward to it.
And if you're self-conscious about wearing a bathing suit [or anything really], I'd definitely recommend taking the plunge and just doing it with the people you trust most. It's very liberating, to say the least.
Hope you're all well :) xx.

How have you been going lately?
Was literally writing an update post as I got this haha. Since my last update I’ve gone down 1.5kg, which isn’t a lot but to be honest I haven’t really been trying. There have been so many opportunities to go out for meals with friends, to drink alcohol etc etc that I’m just very relaxed at the moment with everything. Not gaining weight at all, but just verrrrry slowly losing it.
But I’m getting back into the swing of things now, eating much better and working out as regularly as I used to. I’m going to lose the majority of the last of my weight by summer and it’s going to be good! Read my next post if you want any more information :) xx.

My preferred laxative of choice is Laxettes with senna 12mg 50’s for $4.99 at your local Woolworth’s: I started using them for constipation about ten years ago. I quickly became psychologically addicted to the feeling of an empty digestive system; I became physically dependent on them very…

Been really sick these past few days.
So I haven't been able to eat much- hence, I am now juuuust under 70kg. This milestone would have felt a lot more impressive if it didn't happen due to my throwing up everything I ate.
Oh well. Still counts?
